I have a Samsung i637 with Windows Mobile 6.5 from Telcel.
I have selected "Click" for keypad tones.
But, when I select the Silent or Vibrate profile, the sound of the keys can still be heard.
This did not happen with Windows Mobile 6.1
I like to listen the sound of the keys, but I do not want heard it in silent profiles.
Can you help me?
Thanks!

Ok, I'm a newbie in wm6 world after year of simple wm2003 without phone. I'm looking for a "simple" icon on my today screen (actually I'm on spb pocket plus but it doesn't matter) to switch between normal, mute and vibrate ring.. Can you point me to the right direction? Wm6 doesn't have it by default? How is this possible? It's a BASIC function...
nobody need this function?
you dont mention what device you use or what rom
but my wm6 rom have a perfectly nomral access to
normal sound, vibrate and silent
i have a touchXL but I was hoping that this switch was a basic and device indipendent feature, a link somewhere to mute/unmute the ringer... Sounds strange?
Btw I found spb phone suite that have exactly what I'm looking for, a shortcut on today to mute/unmute/vibrate despite to go to settings-> telephone. Now I'm happy
tnx you anyway ,)
Hi
Could someone please help me with this issue on my Treo 750?
I have used this phone for a while now, but there is one thing related to the sound function that bothers me.
How can I set up the phone to disable system sound such as reminders of incoming email, SMS, upcoming meetings etc when I am on the phone with someone or are using the media player playing MP3 files?
I have tried to figure this out under settings for sound and notification but I can not make this work properly! I either loose these sounds completely or they are always active. I only like to disable them or replace them with viration when I use earplug or are having a call.
It is quite annoying listening to music via ear plugs a phone call and suddenly getting a loud sound on my ear about an incoming call, meeting SMS etc.
At the moment I have the following 3rd party SW installed.
WebIS Pocket Informant 8
SBSH Pocket Breeze 5.4
SBSH Pocket Weather 2.0.4
SBSH PhoneWeaver 1.2
SBSH iLaucher 3.1
Lakeridge WisBar Advance 3

I have a Samsung Blackjack II that is on silent mode but still outputs sound when there are reminders. Any sound or vibration while on silent is unacceptable.
The sound volume is set to "none" in the profile for silent.
There was an app called "Config Notifications" in a 6.1 Vox rom, but I can't find this app anywhere on it's own.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
SK Tools might help by deleting all notifications. There is a lite and standard version.
Hi guys,
I need your help. Im using a Asus p750 running wm 6.1. It seems that the phone dosent care to what profile im using. If i have phone on "silent" without ring signal or vibra still the phone rings at a incoming call. Same on all profiles i use. Always a ring signal!!! Total newbie so hoping for a easy fix. Maybe you expers have any ideas?
I have tryed to use SPB phone suite, same problems with thoose profiles. Phone dosent seem to care what profile i shoose to use.
Cheers.

Are you sure you are turning down the ring volume and not just the system.
Thnx for you answer Joel.
I set profile by Settings - Profile - Silent/Meeting etc. If i shoose Silent (Volume:Off Vibrate:Off) and i go back to the homescreen i notice a speaker icon with a X next to it. So i guess i have shoosen correct to get a silent incoming call? Dosent happen though, phone screams like a pig when i get a incoming call. Im i doing something wrong?
tap the speaker icon in the bar and you should get a pop up with two sliders, one for system sound, one for ringer, turn the ringer all the way down and try it again.
Both ringer and System sound are set to lowest and OFF. Still a ringsignal when a incoming call. Was just in a meeting where i bragged about the meeting sceduler that sets phone to meeting profile by auto. Ye right i had 3 incoming calls disturbing that meeting. Argh.
Ahh im using Inesoft Phone Suite and that stupid software uses its profiler and it seems to override all other profilers. Great, now i know what the error is... to bad you cant disable just the profiler... good software othervise..
Ver 5 let's you turn off the Profiler.... but... it doesn't actually turn off... whatever Inesoft profile it was set to when you disable the profiler remains active...
Really annoying... and their support seems non-existent...
Hi there,
I'm encountering a problem with SPB MS 3.5.5. Almost everytime after I change the sound profile back to normal, both the ringer volume and the system volume are muted while they were on 'full power' before I changed the profile to vibrate. This way my phone wont ring and just continue vibrating, while the profile is set to normal.
Does someone know how to solve this problem, or did someone encounter the same one?
I'm using an Omnia II with WM 6.5.x. Before I was using this ROM I had the same problem (default ROM with SPB MS 6.5.2), but the volume was set back to level 3
thnx in advance!
