I've already been to all the forums but unfortunately i didn't get the solution for my problem . My htc is not recognising sim . i have tried so many other sim in it but the message is same (missing sim card or invalid) .tell me theany other link where i can get rom(os software) for the same . Becasue i have been to rapidshare but its not working. I request all to please .

Try bending the sim contacts of your phone so it connects better with the sim, or else try an other radio. Did it ever worked?
I bought some Rogers Palm Treo 750 BS phone from ebay and would like to set it up with AT&T OS & Firmware or whatever. How do I convert my Rogers phone to AT&T? I tried the WM6 for ATT update and it said, "Unsupported Service" when trying to update it? Please help I don't want "Rogers" or whatever it is. Please help!!
P.S. - I can use my ATT sim card and it works, but just want to use ATT's software
Unlock using Hard SPL and you can flash any AT&T (or generic) ROM you like using the SD card method.
I'm in dire need of help as this is my only phone and I just wanted to get windows mobile 6.5 on here. I got my HSPL from rhodiumw.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php and that worked fine and then I tried to flash 1.82b_sense_2.5_2012_full also known as Josh's Rom I believe. It stopped at 10% and told gave me the error 290. I had removed my SD card and SIM card and it said going into CDMA mode when i started it back up to start the flash and used my USB cable. Now my phone only starts and stop on the tri color screen and it says:

You have a CDMA phone. You can't flash ROMs made for GSM. Make sure the ROM you're using is made for CDMA.
I'm sorry for being so confused and lost, I just entered this whole world of customizing the phone and am not sure of how everything works. The only reason I tried this is cause I'm somewhat of a computer nerd but have no idea in the field of phones. So do I need to reflash with stock rom from sprint? And if so where do I find it? and what HSPL do I use for my phone? I thought the my phone was a GSM as well as CDMA cause the SIM card seems to be for the GSM part. Some steps what to do would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
EDIT: I just used the relocker from the same website and my phone started up again and it seems like it works fine now but what HSPL unlocker do I use to flash a new ROM? I'm confused about if i should use GSM or CDMA? I have a SIM card that seems to be for GSM and i saw it go into CMDA mode when I removed it. Suggestions?

If the phone is CDMA at all (even if you're using GSM mode), you must use the CDMA stuff from the CDMA sub forum or ppcgeeks.

I bought AMEO 16GB on eBay (UK). It's sim-locked to T-Mobile (it's asking for unlock code when o2 card instered)
I tried to use AthenaUnlocker to get it unlocked, but it didnt work.
Details:
Step1 (flash SPL), Ameo would go into Bootloader mode, but it freezes and I'm getting CONNECTION ERROR
I decided to skip step1 and launched SSPL-Manual-x7510.
I started step 2 (UNLOCK RADIO) and upgrade went up to 7% but then I got INVALID MODEL ID error
I flashed my device with x7510_HSPL365 and changed rom to WM6.5.3-28205_x7510_1.2_BETA_VICO, but it didnt make any difference...
Additionally now device isnt asking for unlock code, it's just showing NO SERVICE
please advise

AMEO 16GB - I had to buy unlock code for 7 pounds - it worked like a charm.
I had same problem few weeks later with MDA AMEO 8GB. After removing folder "TempAth" from drive D: on my PC, AthenaUnlocker worked fine

I have the same problem with getting signal. it doesnt promt for any unlock code. just dont get signal.
Can anybody help us?

I have also the same issue, seems nobody can help us from xda developers .
After putting any SIM display shows "you have tried 15 times, please wait until timeout". There is no prompt for the unlock code.
Installed different ROMS for more than 20 times, still no joy.....

i have just receive a kaiser 8925 from my brother...he bough it from us..its an at&t phone...he unlock the sim for me and i didnt know...i try to install hard spl on it and do hard reset on it(i tot its not yet unlock sim)...its a wm6 and running 1.27.12.11 radio rom...now it can detect my sim card but i cant receive text or call from people...i also cant call or send text...what should i do??...btw...im live in malaysia...using digi network.
