Innocell 3000mAh Extended Life Battery
It has been quite some time now since this was announced, is anyone else as anxious as I am? Hopefully when it is released we will start seeing different battery covers coming out. Just thought I would get some other people's input.

I couldn't care less. I get 24+ hours on my battery now, with chargers in everyplace I frequent throughout the day and a spare charger in my laptop bag for those emergency moments.
I seriously doubt you really use your phone very much. The only time I got 24 hours out of my battery was when it sat unused an entire day.
For the rest of us that actually want to use a smartphone that isn't crippled, this extended life battery is a huge deal. So yes, OP, I check their website every week to see if I somehow missed the announcement. I can't wait!

I'm glad that there are some other people who are waiting for this, I for one am tired of charging my phone halfway through the day only to have it die again before I go to bed. This battery better come out soon, come on Seidio!!!

This battery, coupled with my two spares and the original might actually let me go away for a week (almost) without being near electricity. That'd be cool.

x2, atleast i'm not the only one that knows how to manage their cell phone battery life.
Right now i'm sitting at 80% with 3h 52m on, time without signal at 1%, screen on time of 16 minutes voice calls of 7 minutes, and I've been listening to music on my phone from the SDcard for about 20 minutes.
If you actually take the time to set up your phone correctly, you can save a ton of battery life. I use tasker to accomplish a majority of these tasks. For instance, when angry birds is being played i have the phone automatically adjust the brightness to a slightly higher level and i have it turn off the data connections and wifi. Then when i exit it returns the phone to the state it was in before angry birds. I have a ton of these profiles set up.
how many people will take the time for that?
also are you running a custom kernel?

Phoenix 1.43 right now. And it takes a few minutes to set pretty much everything up. I just set them up as I need them.
Battery life isn't the worst, but for me its inconsistant. One day I will make trough a day, next day ill get half.
I know it will get better with froyo and updated kernals and roms.
The touch pro 2 had great battery, I always had gps on and palringo going and didn't have to worry about battery.
The other day I was in vegas taking pics with some random person, I was able to take one, while trying to take another

I had the same issue. I found that it was something causing the battery not to go to sleep. For me, the music player (Fascinate one from EE rom) would start CorePlayerServices which would run and not allow the phone to sleep. As long as that service is running, my phone wasn't sleeping correctly. There are other things that cause this not sleeping problem as well, but that is the only one I have identified personally.

You are misunderstanding the reasons why I want this battery. Yes I could set up my phone to last for a whole day no problem, but that would severely limit the amount of time that I spend on it and the purpose for which I use it so often. I am constantly testing and flashing new zips over and over and over, which will drain the battery tremendously as it is. Testing a 32 x 32 icon on a 480x800 screen is straining on the eyes when the brightness is turned all the way down, so that must be up to see the fine details of images that I have edited.
I understand that it is completely possible to make my phone last much longer than it currently is, but taking the steps necessary to do so would thus render it useless for the tasks that I am trying to accomplish. I live off of my phone because I can and choose to do so, it is my hobby to develop custom themes/ROMs for the Epic and I don't plan on stopping just to have my battery life last 2x longer.
When this comes out it will mean the difference between being able to do whatever I want on my phone for 8-10 hours under very heavy use and only being able to make it last for less than 6 hours. IMO this is significantly to my advantage.
what is med usage to you?
So I'm wondering how you guys are holding up with the battery. Can you last all day?
If not, do you have a spare battery or anything? Thanks.

My idle, on my inspire with TPC's froyo Rom, is anywhere from 1mA to 5mA with the occasional spike to 30mA.

Honestly you can ask, but in all its relative to: amount of use/what you are doing (ie:games or texting)/ROM/kernel/radio/health of the battery. Expect anywhere from 8hours-48hours depending on your usage. Though I have never played angry bird for 8hours straight....

That is very impressive. I need to try some more ROMs out there. The stock inspire here is at 24mA idle pretty regularly which isn't bad but not great.
I get about 12 hours of battery life with heavy use and 20 hours of moderate use. Usually I have the display on for three hours and sending about 100 texts a day about an hour calling with email coming in all day.

This post gives me hope. I am so sick of my iPhone 4, but have been scared the battery will suck on the Inspire. Anyone have/had an i4 and can compare with their Inspire?
IPhone 4 will definitely get better battery life than any android phone. But not too bad and totally worth it.
I pulled my phone off the charger at 8am, it's now just after 10pm and I have 46% remaining. I was browsing on wifi and playing words with friends for about two hours this afternoon, made a few calls, sent a few messages and regularly checked emails.
Battery life on my Inspire hasn't been as good as the Streak, but definitely better than my Captivate. I'm using SetCPU 1024 max/245 min ondemand for my main profile and 245 max 245 min ondemand for screen off.
The key indicator for me is screen-on time. Taking the phone of the charger at ~8am, by about 10pm, with gps off all day, and WiFi on only as needed (~1hr total), I'm at around ~15-20% battery remaining, with the total screen-on time being ~4.5 hrs for that day.
Most of that screen time is playing angry birds, so I'm sure that factors in somehow, as the screen doesn't seem to drain as much battery doing other stuff, as it does playing a processor-intensive activity like a game.

That's good, 4.5 hours of screen on time is a lot.
So I have been using Juice Defender Ultimate for a couple of days and also measuring stats with Juice Plotter.
My experience thus far has been that the addition of JDU hasn't really changed my stats. I would say it has helped slightly... At the end of an 8 hour day I am usually at around 65% I average approximately 4% battery drain per hour mostly with the screen off since I don't typically do much on my phone while at work. I'm sure the battery stats will improve with the addition of custom ROMs but was wondering if the 4% decrease per hour was pretty much standard across the board.
I happen to like the battery performance thus far but will admit that my Cappy was providing me with a remaining percentage of around 75% after an 8 hour day. Of course, that Cappy was on Gingerbread with a super tweaked rom that took advantage of every little ounce of conservativity. There really isn't much difference between 65 & 75 but I thought I would throw it out there to see what you all are experiencing.
Thoughts?

LOL @ some of these replies! Ok. I'll explain why I use JDU. I work in an area that's on the outskirts of AT&T's nearest tower. If am on the outer edges of the building, my service is so so. If I am in my office, which is more interior, my service is off & on. As soon as I walk outside, my service is decent. So, until AT&T increases their presence near our building, I will be faced with a dilemma. The radio on the phone will struggle to lock onto a signal all day long. Depending on where I am in the building, it can get really bad. This constant effort to acquire signal equates to increased battery drain. When I first purchased the Infuse on 5/20, I went back to work that afternoon and my battery had drained from 100% to 40% in less than 4 hours. I had experienced this with my Captivate so I knew it had to be the constant struggle to obtain signal.
The thing I really like about Superpower Beta (which I used and loved on my Cappy), Green Power, and JDU is that they are able to halt that constant struggle when the screen is off (as it is 90% of my time at work). This equates to a much more civilized battery drain. I suppose if I worked in a place where I always had 4 bars this wouldn't even be an issue. Hopefully this explains why I use it. Although JDU probably doesn't do much to "save" battery per say, I think it's invaluable in the way it cuts the communication when the screen is off which in my situation saves battery. I still get phone calls and text messages without issue (depending on where I am in the building). I also have it set to allow data for 5 minutes ever hour which helps.
Wow.. I got a little long winded..

Batteries tend to do so, especially if you are constantly playing music or videos and even games without having them connected to a power source. The constant draining of a battery can do a number on them.
Oooooor if you are on the newest rage 3.6 rom, it eats battery like a mofo.

So 3.6 rage makes it last longer?
Sent from my SGH-T839 using XDA
On R.a.g.e. 3.6, my battery last 4.5-5 hours under heavy usage. I use setcpu to edit max to 1.0ghz and min. to 612mhz on demand. It makes me get up to 8hrs. Max of heavy use.

mine lasts me all day :/ idk whats up with yall and 4 hour battery life? thats insane!! I've been at work and had my battery at like 80% and started streaming radio on it for about 4 hours and ended up having like 30% after that 4 hours... I'm on Reactive's ROM. I wouldn't be able to have a phone that lasts only 4 hours because i'm constantly on the move and have no time to charge it.
The only time i've had such short battery life is when my battery had fried and i needed a new one. But this was on my Nokia 5530. I've had the sidekick since it first came out btw and no issues. Try recalibrating the battery though... maybe that'll help

Ymmv, just installed back to basics, lasted all day with it heavy usage too. I mean youtube, music, twitter, texting and a few calls. I can definitely say it is not my battery.
I'm with eurohomie... I just installed RAGE3.6 yesterday. Battery was at 22% when flashed. After configuring everything, battery was down to 1% when I plugged it in. Then I charged it overnight. I did not clear battery stats or anything.
It has been unplugged for 14h41m18s now, and currently still has 71% left!!! I didn't use it that much today, but WiFi has been on the whole time, used about an hour talk-time, and used about 2 more hours reading internet news. It says WiFi used 30%, Display used 33%, Standby 18%, Voice Calls 10%, Idle 9%.
This is exceptional, however, with any ROM I always get about 20-hours of heavy use or 35-hours light use. Even with GPS navigating or playing 720p movies, it lasts over 4 hours strait.

I can't answer for him, but it is for me. In the first 30% of the battery dies really fast. The rest goes a bit slower.I'd drop from 100 to 80% battery from just watching a few videos online on netflix, under 45 minutes. After that my phone runs sluggish around 60% as if it was limiting how much cpu power it is using. I can compare the performance to my old g1 when its running at 60% battery. Constant use on that rom will only get me 8hrs total, 10hrs at the most on standby.
Just flashed back to basics to act as a control, battery drain is less than rage.

I can definately understand what you are saying. I can relate to that also. With my sidekick it is usally around 50-60% that I start getting the most force close errors, and freezing, and if im listening to music, and start browsing the web, I can most certainly know that if I go to a heavy website then it will freeze the UI and music will keep playing. But, if I pull out my beats cord, then give it a minute (sometimes I just have to hold down pwr) the launcher will reboot (like an iPhone respring), and will still be slow so I still end up having to reboot. I can most definately say that the Sidekick 4G is a BAD phone.

Is this from constant use? Or just checking it for texts every now and then. Because my sidekick is exactly like that, but its usally around when I flashed a new rom, so I just use battery calibration and that sets me off right.

Also remeber battery temp plays a factor to battery life 80 to low 90 seems to work well with proloning battery life

Yea, when it's that constant use that's what always kills it. And for you other post battery temp is a major factor in this, I can honestly say if your battery is more than 100 degrees its gonna wayy faster, and if its more than 100 degrees a day... it's time for a new batt, slim. I KNOW that will fix this problem COMPLETLY.
How often you charge your phone? I have to do it every single day! And if I play for an hour or so some 3d hard game... maybe even twice a day!
I charge it two times per day.
Heavy usage.

Depends on Rom and kernel. With LS and bubba about 5h screen on, with Carbon and 3.4 about 1,5h....
HTC One S (S4) | Carbon~HALO | 3.4.49_kernel | S-OFF
I charge about once a day, no more than 6 hours charging, and I dont usually let my phone die.I use my phone casually, web browsing, facebooking, instagram, flipbook. 3D gaming will drastically drain your battery.
I have not been charged yet, I have it always tied to an electrical outlet.
Kernel 3.4.49, PacMan 23.0.0 made my day. Nice rom, but hungry on battery.
i have it hooked up to my body so that it's always charging.
i got the idea from watching the Matrix.

Haha, very funny indeed.
I just ordered this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310674792440
Yeah, its cheap, but my friend bought smth like this for 50$ and still have problems with it. I wll try and post.
My Htc is villec2 (C2) and when I am playing 3d game, with perfomance governor for both CPUs and slight overclock for the GPU ... well, I lose 10 percent battey for 20 minutes.
Every second day, 3G is on all day and I always wait until the battery is at about 1-3%.
I keep 4g off unless I'm using it most of the time, and I try to recharge before getting below 20% to extend the long term life of the battery, but if I'm using it normally I can go 2 days easily. Screen on time is probably about an hour and probably about 40hours since unplugged. Sense roms don't see exact screen on time apparently.
When I'm using it in place of my laptop for a few hours of browsing I get one work day out of it. Unplug it in the middle of the night when its charged, maybe midnight and I use it very little at work. By lunch its at 95% then an hour screen on brings it down to 80% then end of day its like 75% and I web browse for a few hours until its down to 20% and I plug it in.

Thats I thing very good battery life.. What about the screen brightness ?
With my phone I think is not so bad but when 3d game is lounched... WOW I think battery will drop from 100 to 10 for less then 1 and a half hours!
Here are screenshots from today. Wish I could see screen on time.
I only use real intense games on occasion but I do play words with friends every day. Not sure how much time total though.

I just browsed and played words and ran facebook for exactly 1 hour screen on the whole time and lost 15%,.went 95 down to 80. Pretty happy with that.

I will post my screens tonight. I think your battery is acting nice! Last night I lost 30% for 2h 30min pllaying Angry Birds with screen brightness to low! I am happy with that too!
1x a day or 1x in 2 days. Depends on if i have to use mobile data if i am away on weekends or i can stay at home with WLAN only. I am looking forward to CyanogenMod when the 3.4 issues are fixed because even Sense 5 is somehow battery hungry.
I normally charge daily, but now with the newer unstable roms I find the battery to drain faster (so less usage each day)
Here are my screenshots. The big battery drops are while playing Angry Birds and Beach Buggy Blitz.
