Did a quick search, didn't see the answers to these.
Can the Fn keys be programed to something? or are they only used for the other functions of the arrow keys. I'd really like to program a recent apps key shortcut
Also whats with the Circled #1 and 6 keys?
Thanks!
bumb... anyone?

Inquiring minds want to know also
as of right now it's just like you said, nothing more than the arrow buttons.

Is there a <CTRL> button on the hardware keyboard for shortcuts like cut, copy, paste?
Thanks.
Yes there is
Would you be able to tell me which key it is? I can't see anything like that on my Fuze...
Well on my Touch Pro it's on the bottom left, below SHIFT and to the left of the green FN key.
Maybe the Fuze is different? I never buy carrier-branded phones so I wouldn't know, sorry!
Yes, the Fuze keyboard layout is different...
Ah, then I suspect the carrier had the CTRL key removed in order to make it less confusing for noobs ;O)
Feel free to give this a shot:

It's still very raw and in development, but it will let you map a CTRL key on your FUZE keyboard.

Awesome, thanks! I will play around with it a little later today.
I just loaded ScummVM on my HD2, but it tells me I have to map buttons. For the life of me, I can't bring up the virtual keyboard. Does anyone know how this works?
It needs you to map things to physical buttons on the device not to the virtual keyboard - i usually only need to map the right click action and the button to show / hide the scummvm keyboard / interface..
The pop up will say something like 'Map Right click' you need to scroll down the list and select right click then press the physical button youd like to map.
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Is this possible? I've tried a bunch of keyboards, and it seems that only the Japanese keyboard is similar to the 1.6 Standard keyboard and I would really like to have 2 main things from the 1.6 standard keyboard that none of the new ones have.
Half screen in landscape mode. All of these new keyboards take up the entire screen and I hate it.
Left and right arrows which helped me make spelling corrections in texts and e-mails.
Does anyone have a url to this keyboard, and could tell me how to install it?
Thanks in advance.
I'm looking for this too.
yeah me tooo....

If you use the HTC_IME you can set the volume buttons to do that.

But not everywhere, and it's too big
The old keyboard is the best for Dark10, it isn't a garbage

If you tap somewhere near where you wanna edit, you will see the text bigger in a scroller in centre of screen, you can drag that sideways to move cursor.
For instance say I want the word RETARD to be type instead of the space bar preforming its normal function. Or I want a button on the keyboard to paste for me instead of it doing whatever it normal does if you guys know what I mean thanks
I don't know as to that extent but I've seen keyboards with function keys that might have been able to be user programmable. I forget which one. Hacker keyboard maybe? I dunno.
Hello.
Can you would add the left and right navigation key on the keyboard google?
I really like is keyboard, and I think that's the only thing it lacks.
is impossible?
a response is not a luxury
nothing?
This may be your best bet
There is a app in Google play called Hacker's Keyboard. It comes as close to a computer keyboard as possible. Even things such as Control-C and Control-V Work! It has the arrow keys you have requested. Check it out and report back
thank you, but I would just be to the left and right arrows on the keyboard google I found the best key for me.
