Unfortunately for you that SBF is for the CDMA/Verizon 3G XOOM, which surely will not work on your GSM/3G XOOM. I looked around a bit but have not been able to find a German SBF.
What were you doing originally, to get you in this position?
If you have trouble explaining yourself in English, just post in Deutsch and I should be able to have it translated by a coworker.

Hi folks. I need to change my sig. My Korean SGS was destroyed and ended up with a korean Motoroi xt720 for cheap. I am in Korea. I can read a few computer terms and for anything else have easy access to people who can read more.
Anyway, I made it through the upgrade process. However, it didn't give me a rom file, rather it actually flashed the phone from the web page. There's a chance I can find the rom file somewhere on my hard drive.
I had to do it twice. The first time it seemed like it was installing some upgrade manager tool (but I was clicking ok pretty fast). There was a yes or no question that I didn't bother to try to translate any further even if I could. Yes allowed the continue button to pup up.. but then the computer rebooted. I did it again though and the second time after hitting the big orange button.. it rebooted the phone and flashed it.
Let me know if I can help with something, and let me know if you know of any big things to watch out for if I'm taking advice from the U.S/EU threads. Obviously, not using those ROMS is the main one.
By the way, rooting by adb with rageagainst the cage worked fine for me as expected.
update: so I checked the ahrd drive. The file isn't there. With a somewhat similar samsung process I sometimes had to kill the program just before it flashed, then I could find the file. Unfortunately, it won't do it again, because it detects that I'm already upgraded. Of course I can just tar up my /system directory.

Can you post your kernel version and configuration strings (S/W version etc)?
model XT720 (but korean one of course)
S/W version STSKT_N_79.33.50R
android version 2.2.1
kernel version 2.6.29-omap1
Did I miss anything?
I am capable of extracting and probably unpacking a kernel image, assuming it doesn't go too differently than for the Samsung. I would want hints on what block device to get it from though.
Another possibility is flashing back to an older rom, and trying to upgrade again, but I'd need to find an older rom. I wrote down my original ROM version somewhere, so I can try to search for it.
I'd actually like to have this too, because it's nice if I mess something up or need A/S, to have a clean ROM to fall back to.

I think that's the same as what we have. You can download the sbf here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881801 Thanks!
Ok thanks!
One thing you could try change your build prop to the motorio but this could be dangerous.

How to download original sbf from device?

i have a device with the original rom from Cellcom israel.. how can i download the sbf from the device?
sorry for the bad english..
thanks!
I don't think a sbf file can be downloaded from a device, but you can get it via Motorola Software Update, with an older and lower version of the phone's ROM.
For example, if you want to get the offical 2.2, you can first downgrade or recovery to 2.1(can be ignore if you are still in 2.1), and then use the Motorola Software Update to get the 2.2's sbf file from MOTO.
But your phone will go to 2.2 and can not flash to 2.1 again.
Generally you can get the sbf from the forum, many guys have the same phone and some of them would like to upload the file to the Internet.
Sorry for my bad English too.
with sbf_flash for linux its have a download options.. but its failed.. sad its can download..

MZ600 stock sbf needed

I've done multiple searches among multiple sites for the SBF file for the Motorola Xoom MZ600 vzw 3g only, and I can't seem to locate one. Trying to recover my soft bricked xoom, using a mz602 sbf fails at the switching to LTE portion, using the mz604 sbf fails at the flashing process. Feel free to PM me.
Many thanks,
Bradon
Anyone know where I can find one? I have scoured Google.
MZ600 HRI39 is what I believe I need, I can't get any other SBF to work without throwing off "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Interface AP-OS". I've built up hope when I figured out how to use RSD, only to not have the SBF available.

Did you ever find the SBF? I am in need of this now as well.
I also need this file...I keep seeing references to it - other people claim to have downloaded it, so it must exist somewhere, but I've searched high and low and come up empty. I'm effectively bricked right now, but am quite certain the RSD method will save the day - IF I can find this file...
The exact file name is allegedly: VZW_MZ600_Signed_HRI39_Signed_MDM600BP_C_02.0F.00R _SW.combo.sbf
Only SBF files I'm finding at all are here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/everest/list.php - none for the MZ600.
Please if anybody has this file (or ANY sbf for the mz600), I'd really appreciate it!!!

Perhaps one of THESE will refresh your memory: http://www.android.net/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=32
Unbelievable that it took so long to find it...Hope this does the trick and helps others in the future!
Also, I should get an email if you reply, so if for some reason in the future that link is broken, let me know and I'll be happy to upload it to my web server for you to download. Cheers!
thanks again. ive been @ this all day till i found this thread.

Hello,
I love my Xoom MZ602 but right now it's bricked while trying to repartition. I've faithfully executed everyone's solution, but nothing's working. Several posts say I need:
1.35-everest.reflash.sbf
which has links all round but they're all dead!! Does anyone have it? HELP
Thanks very much!!

Thought i would try and help you out since i have some old xoom files laying around. However, i am confused about while files you need.
MZ600: 3g xoom for Verizon US called stingrayCDMA(maybe?)
MZ601: 3g xoom for GSM called everest
MZ602: 4g lte xoom for Verizon US called stingray
MZ603: WiFI only xoom called wingray
MZ603: WiFi only xoom called wingray
So the everest file you need will not work on an MZ602.
Test question is, do you have an MZ602(Stingray) or an MZ601(everest)?
Let me know, and I will see if I can find the right file.
PS: Also, what is your region/language?

Thanks for helping... It's definitely an MZ602 - Verizon 4GLTE. The device accepts flashing through Fastboot or RSD, but will not save anything. I think the partition table must be gone. There is NO Recovery. Someone else suggested this file would help even on the "wrong" device. Desperate at this point will try anything.
Region - USA
Hope you have something or an idea.

METHOD 1:
If you haven't tried it already, download this http://www.mediafire.com/download/klylgjtuy42y625/HRI39.zip, extract and flash using the following fastboot method.
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot -w
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
METHOD 2:
Can you flash a custom recover in fastboot or does it fail? If it fails, what exactly is the error?
If you can successfully flash a custom recovery image, try following this guide. I know it is intended for removing a "BigPart", it should be able to recreate your partition tables if you can flash recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635282
METHOD 3:
You can also try this SBF file which is an SBF of the newest stock rom for the MZ602
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/download.php?device=24&file=710
IF NONE OF THIS WORKS
I have searched high and low and can't find a copy of the 1.35-everest.reflash.sbf, however i understand what you were thinking, i found many people talking about this file as a method for recovery. If non of my methods above work, maybe someone still has the everest sbf in question laying around.
Please help to restore old xoom
Please help restore old Xoom mz600. It stuck in moto logo.
Recovery doesn't work too, stuck in "Reading ODM fuse: 1".
After long investigation I get it is problem with bootloader.
Maybe somebody still have this magic file 1.35-everest.reflash !!!
1.35-everest.reflash.sbf
Finally I found these files, thank you KidJoe:

Why not share it in the public thread? lets be honest you won't be here to respond to stuff forever so you might as well drop a link in the thread for future collectors everywhere. And PLEASE use Android File Host, it seems to keep files forever and i don't see it going down anytime soon.
