[Q] das bamf toolkit and battery depletion - Thunderbolt General

I've used das bamf, the remix, and lightning Rom so far and with clearing my battery stats and charging it to 100%, I'm still having batter depletion problems. What I mean is my battery is not properly updating as its draining life and will only update randomly or when I reboot, does anybody have any suggestions? Also when I installed bamf, My current, I did It through Rom manager -> recovery, and I never received the das bamf toolkit, wasn't sure about that one either.
Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

(Q) das bamf 1.6 battery not updating

For some reason my tbolt with das bamf 1.6 remix won't update my battery drains. If I reboot it will update my percentage, but then its stuck at said percent. Any ideas?

Same issue here, please advise what information we can provide to be helpful.
Running Bamf 1.6.2 remix, no kernel changes.
What I did was gleaned from another post somewhere. Maybe not all of this was necessary, but here it is:
1) Charged phone overnight to 100% (whilst powered on)
2) Power off phone
3) Continue to charge ("bump" charge) for about 10 or 15 minutes
4) Power on phone
5) Clear battery stats (in Das Bamf Toolkit --> Troubleshoot --> Battery Statistics)
After the reboot, my Tbolt's battery stats appear to be updating more normally now. In other words, I can really see that 4G suck on the battery...

[Q] 100% Battery Issue

After Flashing G2x to the new CM7.1.0.1 and restoring my apps from TB, battery level was what it was before I flashed from Weapon G2x 2.7 (around 35%). After first reboot I noticed that the battery graphic in the status bar change to a picture with a ? in the middle. I then played around with some of the CM settings and changed the display to % which then changed to 100%
I flashed ROM to my backup of Weapon G2x 2.7 with the same symptom. I then went into CWM and wiped the battery stats, rebooted, and had the same problem.
Now I have flashed to EaglesBlood 2.3.7 GB and have the same issue!!
In all of these ROMs I have tried charging from wall charger as well as PC and do not get a charging indicator how ever I am able to USB storage.
Any suggestions?!
UPDATE 1: Just plugged phone in while in off state and the charging battery displayed. Must be an issue in the OS it self.
Install battery calibrator from the market, charge too 100%, use the app, unplug and use it till it shuts itself off then charge to 100% without interruption.
I always get the ? Battery after flashing a rom and even sometimes after a reboot but it settles itself after a couple seconds. Normally after it preps the after card.

Ok, i dont know what changed but I let it run for about an hour and the percent jumped down to 78%. I am now getting the charging icon. Going to completely discharge, wipe battery stats, fully charge, and then wipe battery stats again.

Serious battery problems with my S3

I got an insurance replacement recently and seem to be having serious battery issues. I have a hyperion extended battery too. I dont remember exactly which rom I was running before, but it was with imoseyons kernel and just noticed lots of battery drain. So last night i switched to beans and kt kernel. I let my phone charge all night and it got to 100%. I unplugged the phone and in 5 minutes it went to 92%. I rebooted to recovery, wiped cache davlik and fixed permissions. When I booted it again, phone said it had 37% battery! What is going on?
Edit - The rom before this was rally stock 1.21.

How long did you let it sit at 100%? Cuz if it's plugged in for too long after the 100% it starts discharging
What I would do is charge to 100, as soon as it's charged, unplug and power off. Now charge again while the phone is off to 100% again. You should be good..

Well you could try running galaxy mod, it uses 1 core when the screen is off and 2 when it is on. Uses less.power :/

I had this problem when I first got this phone. I took out my SD card, formatted internal storage and now I'm getting extremely good battery life. Right now I'm at 4.5 hours screen on time, about 5 mins away from 20 hours up time with 22% battery remaining.
Seems like the battery stats are messed up. Let it it die and then charge it up to 100% without interruption and you should be good to go.

You should never let li-poly batteries discharge fully, that will make them die a lot quicker. Thats a big reason why the phones of today whine like crazy when you hit 20%. When you do let it discharge fully that will mess the up the inside of the battery that hold the charge. You should try and not let the battery get under 15% if you can simply to try and get the most life out it.
If your recovery still has it, charge to 100% then wipe battery stats. If it doesnt then grab a app from the play store to wipe the batterystats once you have a full charge.

Blah blah blah blah blah! There is nothing wrong with letting the battery die from time to time. After a few hundred charge cycles the ability to hold a charge will be greatly reduced either way. The fact that it died a few times along the way will have no effect on that.

IHave same prob once installed jb update
Seems to be better right now. I backed files I needed and formatted internal and external sd. Put back everything except photos and cwm backups. I switched my backup format to tar to not have the blob folder. Have not had a chance to charge to 100% yet, will do it tonight and see tomorrow how it goes. Thanks for help!

Battery draining really quickly, even when idle, SENSATION CYANOGENMOD 10.1

Hi everyone, at the weekend I installed Cyanogenmod 9 on my sensation, after experiencing a bit of trouble with it draining my battery super quick I tried charging it and then discharging it fully but the problems persisted. I was told to try this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115520), I installed it (before doing so I wiped absolutely everything, cleared caches and wiped my SD card to be safe too), and still the problem persists. The battery drains really quickly, and even when it's supposedly idle and locked, I checked after about 10 minutes it had managed to loose about 3% battery. So I downloaded a battery stats app and let it run for a few hours, took a few screenshots (http://imgur.com/VwBtGct,BVhNjyI,mDrzMS7,v740lzH,pdXS238#0 click through the images near the top) and nothing really out of the ordinary. Is there something im missing? Or anything I can try? Or is there a chance that after a few charges and discharges the battery will be alright (it's an anker 1900mAh and I was used to going right from dawn till dusk with tonnes of battery left with the stock Sense OS).
Thanks! any help is appreciated

[Q] Battery problem

I have an i9105, and when I first updated to 4.2.2, my battery from 100% to about 20% works great. When it comes to 20% and further down, it drains too fast, almost like speed of seconds. I tried battery calibration, it didn't work. I also tried many stock 4.2.2 roms, I even tried two Costum Roms, like Spirit Rom, and Pac Rom, but problem is still the same, I even changed Kernel, but no solution. I noticed that if I charge battery only 80% then it drains normally down to 1%.
So is there anything I can do to make my battery work properly? Like for example do you know any battery charge limitter app, or any other solution?

if u tried out everything software related... maybe it's a physical battery problem (worn out), go and have it tested.
I'm experiencing the same phenomenon. I figured it was down to a worn battery (1.5 years old I9105P), but maybe there's a software issue too.
