[REQUEST] Stock Files From Internal SD - T-Mobile LG G2x

Hi, I'm looking for a copy of the original contents of the internal SD. I've looked around to see if I find these files already, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. Can anyone upload the files?

I haven't wiped my internal SD yet, but it is a mess. Any certain file you're looking for?

Take a look here.

You can use this and then use the oneclick root/unroot method if you need to return it.

Already knew about that. I'm looking for the files that came on the internal memory, like the Tegra demo videos and anything else that might have been there. Nandroid doesn't include that, does it?

Any way to recover deleted items?

Specifically pics and vids that were on either the card or phone memory.
So there is no recycle bin or something like it?
When it is deleted it is gone for good?
Hi,
Try http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/smart_recovery/info.htm?language=1
to restore files from your Storage Card.
I'm not aware of a solution to recover files on your mobile's ROM.

[Q] How to check what phone is backed up on from cwm?

I use the tmo sgs2 and i have experience flashing roms. i know how to backup, flash and restore roms. its not rocket science. today i flashed the ics beta for my dad on his sprint epic 4g(sgs1). his sd card only had like 100mb free so i used my 32gb sd card with more than 15gb free so that i could download the zips needed and backup his current rom. i flashed his ics beta flawlessly without any problems at all. i backed up his og rom and everything was dandy. the problem started when i got home and decided to transfer his rom backup to my laptop's hard drive so that i wouldnt have that 1gig+ filling my sd card. when i mounted my phone storage and went into my cwm folder and into backups however i dont see any folders with today's date on it. so im not sure if its a backup from my sgs2 or my dads sgs.
My question is... is there a way that i can go into the file and maybe see which device the folder is from? like if theres a sgs2 specific SOMETHING that'll help me identify which one is which?
i tried being thorough so you guys know exactly what happened so you can help me with this.
thanks in advance
Can't you just go by the file date on the contents in the backup folders?

that was actually what i did originally to see which one it was. i also went into the folder info and none of them had today's date.
is there any possibility that it'll be on the phone's internal storage?
anyone?

Pure Calendar Widget Export Settings

Does anybody know where Pure Calendar Widgets places the settings export file. I've searched the SD card and can't find it anywhere. I've got a Galaxy Nexus so maybe it has something to do with the way it handles the internal SD card?
It says that its saving the file. Just can't find it anywhere.
hi,
check here:
/sdcard/data/com.anod.calendar/backup

Thanks for that. Unfortunately my sdcard/data folder doesn't contain that folder nor is it anywhere else on the sdcard. Pure calendar Widgets sees it if I attempt an import but I certainly can't find it with a file browser like es file explorer.

The galaxy nexus doesn't have removable sd card. the file structure is still there sdcard\... but its internal. All of my other apps write to it like they did on my last phone with a removable sd card. Also pure cal widgets sees it if you attempt to import it. I just can't browse it.
Old, old bump but I found this link via google and I never found the answer until I discovered it myself. It's in a hidden file on your sdcard called .org.koxx.pure_calendar/widget_configs.
Tks
Thank you!!!!

[Q] Clockworkmod backups

I am just wondering if it is safe to store these on the external SD card??
If for some reason i needed to access them, would I be able to? They are currently taking up a good chunk of my internal memory. I only have one, but its taking up 483MB. I want to make a newer one as well - how do I go about doing that? Again, would it be safe to keep it on the external SD card if I needed access in the future? The old one is from when the original owner rooted the device I imagine, cant be sure, but it was definately before I had it. It was brand new other than the root/unlock which i knew about ahead of time.
Anyway, is it safe to move/create a new one and move it?
Yes, if you copy and paste, make sure to keep the exact folders and their names, along with any files in them. It is completely safe
Edit: in fact you can also do the backups directly to external sd card right from recovery.

Do you mean on the external sd card to also call the folders "clockworkmod/backup/<date>"?

Is there a way, after i move it, to see if I can see it from my external SD card within the recovery without actually using the backup/reverting back to those settings???

Ok, so ive taken the time tongiht to copy my backups from the internal to the external, using the same paths. I even included the ".nomedia" ".salted_hash" and ".settings" just in case.
I also have a copy on my desktop hard drive.
Is it now safe to delete them off of the internal storage? How can I confirm that they can still be seen from recovery - but without actually using them to recover/reset the system at this current time?
I already made another backup accidently last night. I was in custom recovery clearing out the cache, and I went into backup just wondering if thats where you go to make one (i figured it would confirm by making you scroll to yes like every other option). it started making a new backup. Luckily i had 60% battery so i was able to let it finish. So at least now i have a backup of my current system.
The problem is both backups are taking up 2 gigs of internal space now and i only have 4gigs. So, these definately need to be pitched if possible.
ETA: So after I watched a video on youtube, i did go in, and i can see both dates of backups.... but all of the files are still in both locations... how can I tell which ones CWM is seeing??

Can I safely delete these files?

There are a bunch of folders and files on my phone that may be leftovers from apps I once tried and uninstalled. They seem to just be taking up space in my sdcard folder. Most are empty folders. What are these and can I safely delete them? I need the sdcard space.
sdcard/.chartboost
sdcard/.CM_Cloud
sdcard/.mmsyscache
sdcard/.quickdial
sdcard/.SIc-yJMAhEcjs6wmSi9Uhdeyr_M=
sdcard/catlog
sdcard/Tencent
Any help appreciated
Sorry, too early in the morning... I initially read your question as being about external SD cards - duh...
Your best bet is to copy them all - to a hard drive or Dropbox/Google Drive/OneDrive - and delete them from your SD card. Then if something fails you can restore them one by one if an app fails until you find the one that it needs.
Since none of them are in /system/ it's probably not a big risk, but take a full TWRP backup before you do anything.
That's what I was planning to do but was trying to find out what they were about first. Guess I'll need to go that route.....
