71 mb is really enough though without any ext partitions for a sense2.1+3.0...and its gingersense...so takes little space on phone going make some more space free..target to make it 80 mb free later on..or may be more...would be better if can make it 100mb

the same way we used GFW(F**K GFW in China) application in previous roms(the google helper)

I've just installed this rom and the first thing i've tried it's compass but in my opinion it's not fixed... I'm using google map but the directions are wrong.... so i'm waiting for other comments..

Hi OP, I think this is a nice ROM and a good idea, to strap it down, so it doesn't need the SD-EXT Partition

This is my first time creating or you can say cook a rom for the Android Community.
Before this, all I do is to flash other people roms whenever there are new updates.
Today I decided to try out 1 for myself.. Constructive feedbacks are welcome.. =)
Based on DJ Droid rom I had come out with Android 2.2 Froyo (HTC SENSE EXPRESSO STYLE UI)

New to this rom? FULL WIPE FIRST, followed by Flash v0.12 FULL/LITE, J("a)so.nExo v0.21 and lastly old APP2SD(if you need the old app2sd) respectively. Then reboot your phone and wait for it to start..

Rom Installation Steps:
- Enter recovery (press volume down then - keeping it pressed - press power button) and make all the WIPES available, with the procedure you like the most.
- After WIPES have been done, use Fakeflash to install ROM file on your SD card.
- THOSE WHO DOWNLOADED OLD APP2SD, do continue to install the file without wipe after ROM installation.
- After installation procedure is over, reboot your phone (first reboot will take some time to complete (like 5mins?), do nothing meanwhile and do not off your phone).
- After first boot, complete first time phone configuration and YAY!!! you got your sense with Expresso style running...

You can simply replace htc and android frameworks in your rom.

After hours of work finally hiapk team is here with another blast.this rom here is based on the android gingersense 2.3.3 (WWE_3.06.707.0)which came out few days ago.people having various problems with app2ext/blah.... blah..... Roms you can have a smoother test,many of the people having trouble with putting apps on sd cards,by mistake some people wiping out/or still not having the chance to take photos or videos ....please better go on with internal storage works...coz here you still can record 720p videos,not losing your data,getting a 2.3.3 sense ROM,even after installing 100apps you are still getting about 50-55mb free space...personally after trying lots of Roms over sd card...i'm also tired of those stuff(that's why saying a lot like this )

I would imagine so. 3.4 was AOSP (CM7) based, where this one is based on a HTC Sense leak.

You can try morelocale but this Gingerbread-Sense-ROM and any other are based on the asia-leak, so there are only asian languages.
Wait for a Europe leak.
I really like this ROM !

The first thing I would say I am not a developer - at most a "modder"
This ROM is originally build by baadnwz (IC v45) and Coolexe (CoolAceS v7). I added the two ROMs together to built out an (almost) original Android 2.3 (with Sense 2.1) ROM - SensEVolution for Desire.

Why all this? There are enough Android 2.3 ROMs with sense! - YES! But most are either from the "leaked HTC GB ROM", so-called "hybrid" between Sense 2.1 and Sense 3.0 (Insertcoin) or there is no CM7 versions of the ROMs (CoolAceS). And precisely for this reason I have built this ROM (STOCK GingerBread Sense).

exactly same features as coolexe and badneewz version..
No - Insertcoin is an hybrid ROM (Sense 2.1 + Sense 3.0) and CoolAceS only supports A2SD (or D2......) This rom only have Sense 2.1 and some other changes for an absolutly stock lookin rom. The second is: there is no need for apps like SetCPU or SD Speed Increase thats all included in this ROM.

Installation:
STOCK HBOOT RECOMMENDED
Take backup of your android phone before you start the installation and make sure that your phone is charged enough so that the procedure will not get discontinued due to battery.
Make Sure that USB Debugging is enabled, if not then follow this path : { Settings > Applications >Development > USB Debugging }
click here to download the Sense+ ROM.
After downloading the ROM, transfer the .zip file to the root of your SD card and start the phone in recovery mode. To boot into the clockwork recovery mode, Press and Hold the Volume Down +Power Button,navigate(Volume +/-) to "RECOVERY".
Now perform a Nandroid backup, so that you will have a chance to restore to the previous firmware in case anything goes wrong with you. To perform a backup, in CWM, select Backup and Restore –> On the next screen, Select Backup again.
Now on the reovery menu, Perform a full wipe, select “Wipe data/factory reset” and confirm by selection “Yes“. Select “Wipe Cache” and confirm by selecting “yes“, and after that go to Advanced >> “Wipe Dalvik Cache” and confirm again by selecting “yes“.
Now, select “install zip from sdcard” >> “Choose zip from sdcard” >> Select the file which you had transferred earlier to your device. After the ROM is completely flashed onto the device, go back and “reboot system now“.

first of all the link to cools rom is not working, but i guess its the droid incredible rom with 2.3.4 and what did you removed all? maybe a list? Hboot whats recommended? and the features don´t know if this is enough to call it rom maybe a mod of cools rom ...

Hi, can your rom add more than 10 recipients in group sms? Coolexe Cool Droid doesnt at present, thanks.
I do not care what it is, mod, theme, rom, but it finally fixes that freakin annoying prefix bug from CoolSense 2 and 3. There is no more +1 prefix added before dialing a number, but apart from that it is the exact same great ROM plus some nice animations.

Installation:
go to wipe --> wipe all partitions without sd card
Wait for 10/15 minutes to boot for the first time.
Then wait 5 minutes for the phone to settle down. ( just let it do it's thing and don't touch it. )
The phone will be very laggy in the beginning, but that's because it has to settle everything ( 20 minutes )
First boot: +/- 5 minutes

Q. I see in the requirements that i need an EXT4 partition, what is that?
A. An sdcard has a FAT32 partition , where you store all your music, pictures, and some files you want. An partition is a part of your sd-card, that can be used for storing system files. EXT4 is the files system used for that partition. So if you have a 4GB sd-card, you can chose to have a 1GB EXT4 partition. That will mean that your FAT32 partition will get 3GB, and your EXT4 partition will get 1GB.
Q. Why would i make an EXT4 partition?
A. Because Sense 4.0 is a huge ROM, and the Desire does not have that much internal space, you'll have to store thing on sd-ext, because else you can not have the whole ROM on your phone. Some system files ( The apps, and framework files ) will get stored on the EXT4 partition.
Q. Why is this ROM so slow?
A. SD card come with different speed classes. On your sd card you will see something like class 2/4/6/8/10. How higher, how better. If you have class 2, the ROM is going to be slower then when you have a Class 10 SD card.

Sure about this? 130MB is the normal Desire internal memory which gets filled fast enough once you start installing apps.
IIRC, Greeneyes had M2SD in the AROMA to select from.

Also, you're refering to he's 4.1 ROM, not his 4.0 ROM.

Try to fix the issues with Camera, USB mounting and LEDs (not responding)
Please include the INT2SD script ... I think is better solution for free space with quick access at SD Card
Also I prefer the AD2SDX method

The Gallery has the best speed I've ever saw with all the ROMs I tried !!!
@OP: You said that the USB mounting is not working right.?
Can you try with the Bexton app for this. Last time I tried it worked very well.

A few things I have noticed:
ROM works on cm7r2 Hboot.
Ver 1.1.4 of the Bexton app is working (at least for me).
Can't change from default wallpaper lockscreen to weather, clock etc. When I try and change this via settings, I get no options to change it to.

WORKING:
-- HBOOT: CM7/r2
-- UI is very fast and smooth
-- App Drawer is working fast without problems
-- WiFi is working
-- Photo Gallery is *VERY* FAST !!
-- I didn't see any reboot, stuck, FC errors etc
-- The menus are displayed quite fast and smooth scrolling
-- Bluetooth is working (I tried file transmission and worked with my Kubuntu Laptop ... I didn't test my bluetooth hands-free)
-- Phone is working good
