Has anyone noticed that landscape rosie works on the stock unrooted Rom when in the car dock? Anyway to get this to work all the time?

Just keep it in the car dock all the time
On a serious note, I don't believe on the stock rom it can be changed at all. But I know when I had my INC there were a couple roms that had the Landscape Rosie. Unfortunately I don't think any of the roms out for the TB can do that, yet.

I tried to cook landscape rosie into
One of the debloat roms and I got a uid mismatch after the setup wizard.

I too would also like to know. Ever since I rooted my phone I get force close errors about rosie when I try to view HTC widgets

You shouldn't be getting a FC just becuas you rooted.

Actually I started getting fc's when I flashed the mod to remove the recent apps from the notification pull down. Anyone know how I may fix the force closures?

And you didn't make a backup?
Anytime you apply a mod, make sure it was built for your build number, not another phones
I was wondering too since I came from the OG Droid to this. I use launcher pro so that seems to take care of most of the junk, but when I go to select a wallpaper there is a Live Wallpapers(live wallpaper picker) and Live Wallpapers(rosie utility). Small annoyance but will be gone when I root

Made backup, mod is for made for phone. But after flashing mod in I'm getting the error. I'm new to forums and not allowed to post in that mod thread so I can't ask developer

I think we'll have kernel problems, but that would be awesome. Apparently the Desire Z Gingerbread kernel works well on the G2, but the Desire HD Gingerbread kernel does not work well on the MT4G. I wonder why.

Yeah, I would think porting a fully functioning Sense 3.0 rom would be at the top of the devs' lists right now. It's hot, it's new, and whomever brings us the first working version will be heralded as the "dev of the hour" - and receive endless thanks from us flashers!
I, for one, know that if/when this becomes available, it'll finally make me flash back from AOSP.
There is one about 95% functional....thats a secret though.
I'm workin' on porting it right now and will post a link up in Dev section hopefully before the end of the night. keep in mind it'll be an alpha release and will most likely be some bugs to work out. Basically this is a coming soon post
EDIT: Not releasing on here due to not wanting the dev section to be filled with these

That's one thing listed as not working.. I'm probably going to be using rafyvitto's port as a base.
the fusion rom has the lock screen aps working.

Mine are working fine, even the live wallpapers in the lockscreen work.
Can someone send me the link to the dl. I wanna try it out.

I couldn't get the video player to work kept force closing. rom manager couldn't reset permissions. It was a good rom though I like sense 3.0 but still a little buggy though

Is there a mod available for stock tmous deodexed Rom that will make the launcher and lockscreen automatically rotate? I would think this would already be around but was unable to locate anything its not even in any custom Roms that I've tried. And no I don't want anouther launcher.

Well think about it. The slide phones have it enabled by default and I would think its cooked into Sense and Rosie some were just not enabled for a handset without a keyboard. Just what I thought who knows figured I would ask.

hello, Im currently using virtous unity rom, and the live wallpaper scrolling doesn't seem to work.

i don't think i've seen that option on sense roms. a lot of the launchers in aosp roms have it though. i remember that the streak live wallpaper moved around when you scrolled through the screens.
If your talking about what I think you are, the feature was disabled on the sense 3.0 due to the carousel animation/ layout.
No big loss anyway.

So I've looked around and haven't been able to figure this one out.
Basically, I flashed the new ICBINB ROM last night, which looks pretty good so far, but I *hate* the keyboard. I actually prefer the old 3X4 keypad with T9.
Is there any way to get the old Samsung keyboard back?
You could try ripping it out if a stock ROM. I'm not sure what it would be called though.
I'm curious, why don't you like a qwerty keyboard? It makes texting a whole lot more efficient than the 3x4 keypads.
Yeah I am not sure how to pull the stock keyboard out of a stock rom. Anyone have ideas?
I find the 3x4 much faster and I make many more mistakes on the qwerty pad.

Ah, ok. Didn't know that. But back to my question -- is there any way for me to install the old keyboard so I can set up 3X4 keypad or am I screwed?
It's almost a dealbreaker for an otherwise great looking ROM.

I don't think Swype BETA has the 3x4 keypad. I think that's only available in the stock Swype. Try ripping it out of one of the Froyo ROMs or the older GB ROMs. Those should probably have the old Swype.
