If you press and hold the widget and drag it to the remove word at the top, it will let you re-add the widget, which should refresh itself properly daily. Press and hold an empty space on the screen, select widget, and it's called Asus Time Widget for some reason. Beautiful widgets lets you add alternatives if you still have problems with the asus one, although there are lots of others similar on the market.
neotekz, I also am having the same problem. Did you ever get it solved? Removing and re-adding like stuntdouble said changes the date to the correct one. But it appeared it wouldn't update by itself. BUT I did notice later in the day the date was correct. I had a thought and every hour I'd watch. As I expected at 12 noon the date changed. Other widgets, like my calendar widget dont have this issue and my system time is set correctly as well as my time zone, US eastern daylight time. I am on Honeycomb 3.1 and the build is HMJ37.US_epad-8.4.4.5-20110527
When I had my Transformer set to fetch the date and time automatically via Network provided time I would notice that the date widget does not get updated when the date changed. I decided to set the setting to manual and have not had a problem with the widget thus far although I have not checked whether or not it gets updated at midnight.
i tired to change the date settings to manaul too but that didnt work but the problem seemed to be resolved since the last update. the widget works fine for me now
Fixed for me in 8.4.4.11
Well it looks like its fixed for me also now. The calendar widget wont update and my ASUS Weather widget still wont update on schedule. But I guess that's a different thread.
anyone know what that date widget is called at the bottum right? I recently did the VP ROM w/ minimal apps. I didn't realize that was one of the apps people would get rid of lol. That app is nice and compact, i'd like to download it from market or the apk somewhere online, but I don't for the life of me know the name of it.
Any help?

I have Beautiful Widgets Home with weater, and the Beautiful Weather Live wallpaper. It is really cool.
But, there is no way to configure who to use for a weather provider, and it is not even close. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I don't think so.
I have it set to update every hour. And over the past 2 hours it has dropped from low 90s to 74, and has been raining for 90 min or so.
the weather on the home says 95 degrees, and the live weatehr page shows brigh sunny, with white clouds going by.
Anyone having better luck with this?
[EDIT]
I think maybe I figured it out. We'll see after some changing weather.
But I had it checked on settings to use GPS. But, GPS doesn't come in inside the house, so it had wrong location. Even thought Geolocation was set too. But I unchecked the GPS, and saved it, and it appears to have the weather right for the live wallpaper.
Anyone know how geolocation works? (I think I'm remering the name of it right).
i am also having a problem with the Widget and live wallpaper updating. The sun rises and sets and it gets dark but my Temp is not updating and we just had a crazy storm here and it still says sunny....any help?
I had fancy Widgets which had weather but it was off by 4 or 5 degrees F.
Got rid of it. Using just digotal clock now. Simple and no wrong info.

i must have changed something....can someone post some good settings? This is one of the most downloaded apps so i must just be screwing something up.
I know that time stops updating if you use a task killer and kill beautiful widgets. I imagine this applys to the weather also.
I think this is an issue that the LevelUp Studio people are aware of. According to this tweet, it sounds like they're going to release an update that uses a new weather data provider.
It's a problem with Google's weather service. Every app and widget that pulls data from Google's weather services has been having problems for a while now. That's why they will be switching to a new provider.
Until I can get a cool clock/weather app that works correctly, I will use it. Until then, I use retro clock and Weather Bug.
Beautiful widgets has been updated to use accuweather.com for forcasts now.

This is correct and works great now.
I'm having weather updating issues with the current Beautiful Widgets. Anyone else? No task killer running. Using Accuweather. Manually clicking update does nothing. Would be nice if it showed a last updated timestamp. I can click to weather details and I see that Accuweather has different weather than the widget.
Does the developer have an official support channel? Can't find one and he never responded to a twitter request.
I think they may have. I just tried to find it by going to their links in Appbrain, but only found a home page with no method there to communicate to them.
But at this link on Appbrain, there is an icon to click where you can email them. I have no idea if you will get support or response.
Has anyone else run into issues with Springpad on their Infuse? I cannot get my notes to go to my homescreen and the widgets wont show up in the widget menu. I reinstalled it yesterday and got the widgets to reappear in the widget menu, but when I shut my phone off last night and turned it back on this morning, the widget transformed into a problem, and the Springpad widgets no longer show up in the widget menu. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Or just have a better replacement?
I use Springpad but do not use the widgets. So I tested it by adding the list view widget and the small one, rebooted and the widgets remain. I am using a custom ROM (Infused) so not sure if that has anything to do with it. If you are looking for a replacement, try Evernote.
There is an easy fix for that. I had the same problem with pandora widget, it would always disapper from widget list after the reboot. Go into settings, applications, manage applications then move the app to phone and reboot. It will never disappear after that.

I am using a custom ROM as well (Refuse 1.6). It could be something with that ROM I suppose; I haven't tried any others for long enough to get to using Springpad.

Yep, that'll do. I had not even thought they were being automatically placed there; don't remember ever setting this. Just noticed that all of my apps are being installed to sd card. I'll check around for how to change it. Thanks!
Edit: Springpad was not among those stored on the SD card, turns out. Widget is working again though. It must have been something else.
Finally Got the OTA Update today. Went through as normal until I have discovered that all of my clocks are missing. The Clock app is there but the Clocks are not. I know this may not be an issue for most but my clocks widgets are missing and under applications it reads 0.0B for the file size. Unfortunately I am bone stock and this is a system file so I think I will have to manually update the device now. I was trying to avoid having to this ......

So, I´ve been having the S for almost a week now.
I have the fullscreen calender list widget on a homescreen. And so far everything ran as it should. But yesterday Sense crashed while I was scrolling to that screen.
And since then I seem not be able to get it running as it was before.
Here is what I tried:
- Reboot (of course)
- Remove and add the widget again
- Remove the widget and place it on another homescreen
But the only thing that seems to be working is not showing all used calenders.
So, I suppose it might have somehting to do with the amount of entries in those calenders. Maybe too many or something.
Anyone else has that problem or know a solution?
I've had that in the beginning.
I'm now with the HTC for ~3 weeks and am connected to exchange, Facebook & Google calendars.
I didn't do anything to overcome this so it might be related to some kind of a "broken" meeting in one of those.
Try choosing only one at a time and then scroll and see if it works. if it does continue to add one by one to narrow the problematic one.
Sorry, forgot to mention that.
I can view every single one without any problem.
But when I view all of them together, Sense FCs.
Right now I am viewing all calenders but the weeknumber one.
Just to make things clear for me:
I'm using the agenda widget of there sense, is it the same with you?
Have you tried the Android one vs. The sense one?

the calendar widget is buggy.
I don't use it anymore since it makes my device to freeze.
I guess we need to wait for an upgrade from htc.
Try resizing it. When it crashes go back to screen that contains widget and quickly put finger on it as though you are going to delete widget. You should now get arrows allowing you to resize. Make the widget smaller. If it is then stable, resize back to full screen again.

but again, I used to have it too, but now it's gone, so I suspect it's related to a broken entry in the calendar and not necessarily the application itself.

Holy cow! That really did work!
Well, at least it´s not instantly FCing. So, let´s see if the problem will come back.
Thank you very much.
Yeah the calendar widget is buggy for me also. Resizing did not helped. I ended up using ICS calendar widget..
Happened to me on day one. You can remove the screen in the helicopter mode and then just readd it again.
HTC should really release an update.

Until there is an update available you might use Business Calendar: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=netgenius.bizcal
I installed the update today, Software numer 1.78.401.2 and so far it seems the issue has been resolved. Haven't tested it for very long yet, but previously it would crash within one minute. I'll report back after at least a full day of use.
Update: The calendar widget hasn't crashed once since I installed the update so I can confirm the issue has been fixed.
Ive been using an older version of weatherbug elite for a long time and now that ive switched to lg v20 it doesnt quite work as well as on older versions of android. It seems the widget doesnt refresh like its supposed to leaving a blank widget untill i open the app, then the widget refreshes and displays.
So ive tried the included weather, ive tried several from play store and NOT ONE does it all inside the actual app like old weatherbug elite, even the newer weatherbug app kicks over to web for simple extended forecast, and i cant seem to find anything in it that shows wind forecast.
They all seem to show a little info and then push you to web browser for more details or extended forecast. I can create a bookmark for weather.com if thats what i wanted, but its not.
I work outside daily during winter and spend days on the water frequently in the warmer months so extended weather is very important to me, and old weatherbug elite has been a great app for a long time but i guess its time to move on since its not working right.
Basically im looking for a weather app that actually is an app, not a front for a website weather details. Something that shows pressure, wind and all that crap within the actual app so i dont have to dig thru multiple web pages
The Google app had a beautiful interface with everything you need, without taking you to the browser.
BTW you can check out weather timeline.
