[ROM] Desire S DHD Port v2.7.5.1 [Uploaded]

Features:
- Based on Desire S ROM v1.35.1113.2 Gingerbread 2.3.3
- Kernel from Desire HD 2.31 leaked build
- Fully Rooted (su + superuser), busybox, zipaligned
- Bloatware applications removed (Amazon MP3, SoundHound, etc.)
- Removed Stocks completely (I hate this application)
- Include LinkedIn and Picasa plugins from HTC by default
- Include Maps by ownhere (Supports International Navigation)
- Updated default applications
- Tweaks applied for optimizations
- Zipalign on boot (for user applications)
- Fully de-odexed
- init.d scripts (BusyBox run-parts) support
- NANO text editor & sysro/sysrw commands support
- You can replace HTC boot animation and shut down animation with any custom animation. Just replace bootanimation.zip or downanimation.zip in data/local
Fully wipe before installing the new version.

- Attempted to adjust the font size to match the default HD rom size.

- HtcMusic fixed for good.
- Fully wipe before flashing is highly recommended.

Known Bugs:
- Clicking on the list button of SMS widget doesn't take you to the messaging application.
Known Porting Issues:
- When playing videos, Dolby is not available.
Patches:
Flash the patches in CWM without wiping.
- LCD Density patch attached to make to look closer to DHD ROM in relation to text size. If anyone don't like it use LCD Density from the market to revert to normal 240 value.
- Those who want Stock application can flash Stock.zip.
- Those who want default font can flash StockFonts.zip.
- Those having problem with HtcMusic not showing in the app drawer, flash the HtcMusic.zip. Dolby will be lost in HtcMusic after this flash.

Holy crap, the ROMs roll in like crazy the last few days.
Any infos on whats new in there compared to the recent DHD 2.16 and 2.25 leak ROMs?

nice work

The version is same as of 2.16 leak i.e. 2.3.2 but you will not have the drawbacks of the leaked 2.16.
In comparison to 2.25, it is not a hybrid so I think it will be a good addition in the DHD ROMs portfolio.
Btw sense version is 3.0 according to the documentation available on internet, but I didn't see any difference at all in comparison to 2.16/2.25.

Actually the Desire S will be released with Sense UI 2.1, not 3.0.
Sense 3.0 was announced with the Evo 3D. Sense UI 3 has a 3 dimensional Interface (Similar to SPB Shell) and new Widgets and Apps.
Let me guess, HTC didnt include the CRT Screen Off in the Desire S Release ROM, right?

LOL maybe we will get update for ours DHD with SENSE 3.0 like on EVO 3D ? Maybe Android 2.4 with mixed honecomb elements Would love to have that Lockscreen in my DHD

This is normal behavior.

As theintelligent said camera interface is not showing options but it's possible to take picture and video.

Can you actually setup the sync intervalls in accounts and sync settings menu?
That was an issue in the 2.16 leak.
EDIT: And about the Camera Settings: What happens if you take the camera app out of maybe leak 2.25 or 2.16?

Pal widget is there, you just have to wait for the rom to get uploaded. After flashing the rom, flash the Stock.zip file attached in the first post.

My friend its not just a stock rom but it is heavily optimized for battery and day to day use. You can easily feel the difference between normal stock rom and this optimized rom, but you have to wait till it is loaded.

aren't those carrier branded ? (not that i cant remove the branding from them) but besides different radio and some carrier specific apps i don't think there are any differences between libs / apps. i'll run a diff between them to see if i'm right

The huge difference between 1.28 and 1.34 that I've been running for 3 days is battery life, way better on 1.34
I flashed the 1.34 O2 but to my great surprise, no sign of branding at all, neither a splash screen nor a single app !

branded, yes, the other I don't know but I would like to think so. Maybe one should look if bugs are still present in higher RUUs. I.e. I find it really annoying, that I can't start my camcorder over the lockscreen, a function I was really looking forward to (Vodafone DE RUU 1.27.162.1).

battery life is given by combination of radio / ril , 1.34 has newer radio and maybe thats the reason, but keep in mind that if for you is better for other it may be worse. All depends on signal strength and on which carrier is used

i have same ruu version and i can start both camera or camcoder from lockscreen.
and i cant see differences between newer and older ruu only if reported by users, i'm stuck with Vodafone ruu DE.

Currently the ROM won't flash.
Error message.
Amend scripting is no longer supported in CWM and you will need to switch to edify.
Working scripts are on other threads on azetec and mjd ROM threads.
If you confirm the scripts will work I'm happy to test for you.

me too, but can you start a recording right away? When started from lockscreen I have no panel nor working menu-button. This is on two different phones with weather-lockscreen.

I think what you mean to say is: "Now, I am still waiting for HTC to unlock the bootloader so I can flash this awesome ROM on my Sensation!"

[Rom] Incredible S Official gingerbread 2.12.415.5 fully port to DHD [Multilanguage]

As you know Incredible S have a same hardware with dhd except lcd (have a 4 inch lcd)
this rom is complete and fully port to dhd and everything work great

Firstly. Saga is desire s and has 3.7" slcd.. is is vivo.
Why would someone port is rom to dhd???
When dhd has officially recieved the same gb sense 2.1?

yes. Same for me : unable to start a gsm/umts data connexion ...

guys
I do not have access to gprs/umts so i cant test or fix it
Can someone work on it and fix it ?

Add-ons/Mods All these mods are universal for all phones but i cant say if they will work or not. i can only insure that on my rom
also some in first post
- h/e icons changes the 4g/2g on the status bar to h/e

Install Instructions
Flash the zip file "APN_FIX.zip"
Reboot into rom
Open up the APNs Backup app and select restore APNs
Select myAPNs_g2x_t_mobile.db
Select "yes" to reboot phone
Wait for reboot

- Cm7 Kernel changes the kernel from fauxs back to the latest cm7 kernel
- Xboarder56 adblocking edits the hosts file to block ads in the rom
- Cyanogenmod7 theme apks adds them in if you like themes over it
- Dsp manger adds dsp back in
- Market Enabler is for people outside of the us and want market access
- Honeycomb Music is for people who cant download music form market and it deletes stock music.apk to reinstall new one
- Swype Remover removes swype and the libs for it from the rom just flash and bame its gone
- Wifi Calling remover takes the wifi calling app out of the rom and the lib that makes it work

If its based off 2.3.4 or CM7.1 RC1, then Bluetooth A2DP doesnt work, just an FYI.

I remember you from the g2 forum you was breasting it. Constant updates and all.

its all right i made it more stock, deleted the extra apps and added libs, new kernel thanks to fauxs, swype, sdcard fix, hosts edits, vpn.ko, gps.conf edit to make it connect faster, etc

Hmm, I downloaded it and, formatted cache, dalvik cache, and wiped. However I think I may have one of the G2x's that aren't as mod friendly.

why what did it do?

It turns on and the LG logo appears once, then shortly after just goes blank..and then the phone heats up.
