[Q] headphone volume low? - Thunderbolt General

are there any programs out there that boost the headphone jack volume level? When I listen through my AUX input in my car it's ridiculously low. When I use my iPod it's just fine.
I used to have a captivate and there was a program called voodoo sound, however it does not work with the Tbolt.
btw I'm fully rooted

There's an app called Volume Boost. It's a few bucks but apparently boosts the volume by 30%.

Amplifier from Inspire to Care Stereo Aux

Hi.
As we know, the audio output (mini plug out) from the Inspire is weak. I see no software fix for it and I want to boost the sound to my car stereo. Does anyone know of a small amp with female mini plugs (one input-one output) that can fix this issue?
Thanks.
No issues with mine. I just turn on equalizer. Guess it really depends on how loud you want it. Equalization will only enhance it.

You might try the power amp music player from the market. In settings it has a pre amp that is adjustable.

Will this boot Pandora's output?

No. It only boosts what's being played by it.
I too have the same issue (Toyota?)... It's not an issue with the car's stereo because any other device works fine. I have noticed that some apps are REALLY quiet. I use the built in Music player because it seems to be the least worst, but yeah, definitely an issue with the device. Boo.
There are a lot of options. Search google for inline headphone amplifier.

Volume with headphone and Mic in car auxiliary

Hello,
Wondering if anyone has had similar issues and if there is a fix. First, I am using rooted t-bolt with stock UI, Power Amp media player (very good), and Car Home car panel (the best in my opinion). I have my phone connected to car power and headphone jack connected to the auxiliary in on the stereo. I've noticed that I have to turn the car volume up very high to near the music. Then all of a sudden, the navigation came on and almost made me wreck! It was very loud unlike the music playing. I also noticed that the Mic does not work for voice directions with the headphones plugged in. I also realize that is the case with most phones.
Has anyone else had these issues? Are there any work-around or fixes that people know of? Thanks.

[Q] Any way make iphone headphones work on Skyrocket?

I just purchased Skullcandy Fix Bud Headphones which turned out to be made of iP*.
The best headphones (sound wise) I've ever own so far. The only drawback is that volume buttons don't work.
Is there a way make it work on Android?
Thank you.
it should just work, however its possible that apple is doing some odd 1 off thing AGAIN. plug them in and try, if it works great if not your screwed save cutting the buds off and wiring it onto the stock headset lol
i have klipch s4i. I used this with iphone now i hav android and it does not work. Just thought i would let you know.
Any updates or ideas? I just got some Beats by dr.dre in ear earphones and yeah the volume buttons don't work on my android phone either(sidekick 4g) which really sucks.. apparently they're made for iP* too :/
There's an application called Klipsch Control that enables the volume button usage I think.

Headphones

One of the many things I love about the 7+ is the headphones built in volume control. In ear headphones don't always work for me so does anyone know of an after market pair that will allow volume control? I'm looking for dedicated volume buttons similar to what the stock headphones offer. I tried a pair of beats that didn't work, that may be because they were made for crapple. Thanks.

[Q] Increasing Bluetooth Volume on Nexus 5

Hi,
I have a rooted Nexus 5 that I use for music with bluetooth headphones. I've applied the headphone volume boost from XDA which has worked a treat for wired headphones, but I'm wondering whether it is possible to do a similar volume boost of the bluetooth audio output. Any ideas?
Thanks!

+1 I'm looking for the same thing. The max volume on Bluetooth speaker is always 10% softer than if you plug a wire into the aux input without Bluetooth. I wonder if there is a way to boost the volume so that it matches the volume attained from a direct aux wire.

I would try to see if there may be a Xposed module that may help or if you can use a compatible kernel with volume boost. Viper Audio may also help since raising the settings within equalizer to boost vocals/bass/etc if you'd like to try as well.
Are you going for hearing loss?
Did you ever find a solution to this?

I suffer from hearing loss (too many Metallica and Korn concerts back in the day) - because of this so-called handicap, I'm interested if there are any solutions or even alternative, suggested wireless earbuds that would accommodate my needs.
The earbuds I currently have are Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 - excessively low volume.

There is nothing that can be done. The volume for Bluetooth is not controlled via kernel as other sounds are. The limitation is hardware unfortunately.
I too have plantronics back beat go and they are very low. Other BT buds may be a little louder but don't expect miracles.
The only thing you can do is go wired. Sorry to break this to you.
