Headphones - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

One of the many things I love about the 7+ is the headphones built in volume control. In ear headphones don't always work for me so does anyone know of an after market pair that will allow volume control? I'm looking for dedicated volume buttons similar to what the stock headphones offer. I tried a pair of beats that didn't work, that may be because they were made for crapple. Thanks.

[Q] Any way make iphone headphones work on Skyrocket?

I just purchased Skullcandy Fix Bud Headphones which turned out to be made of iP*.
The best headphones (sound wise) I've ever own so far. The only drawback is that volume buttons don't work.
Is there a way make it work on Android?
Thank you.
it should just work, however its possible that apple is doing some odd 1 off thing AGAIN. plug them in and try, if it works great if not your screwed save cutting the buds off and wiring it onto the stock headset lol
i have klipch s4i. I used this with iphone now i hav android and it does not work. Just thought i would let you know.
Any updates or ideas? I just got some Beats by dr.dre in ear earphones and yeah the volume buttons don't work on my android phone either(sidekick 4g) which really sucks.. apparently they're made for iP* too :/
There's an application called Klipsch Control that enables the volume button usage I think.

Headphones with some kind of controller for poweramp?

Do they make some kind of headphones with a controller built into the cord that works with poweramp? I just ordered a fii0 e6 amplifier that can clip onto my pocket and it would be great if i never had to take out the phone from my pocket to change songs all the time.
this no cord to worry about

i tried one of those little amps and it was just painful unknotting all the cords and since there is really nothing for android like the apple 3 button headphone, i just use phone bluetooth.
I got a pair of these for $60 when I ordered my gaming headset from them, it has a button on the inline volume controller that works as a pause button on my phone and also has a mic, I like them. I also like the flat non tangle cord
Have you tried searching Google Play for an app that will give you these controls? Search for "headphones controller." You will see a few like "Headset button controller", "Jays Headset Controller", and "RemoteControl for Earphones". They all seem to give you what you want.
I recently bought a pair of Klipsch Image iS4 headphones and they work perfectly with every player that supports headset buttons, also great sound quality.

klipsch s4i + taste of beans 3.1 no Mic

The headphones sound great but I cannot answer calls with the headset plugged in. The audio switches to the handset and the caller can only hear me if I unplug the headphones. Any suggestions?
made for apple
Those are made for iPhone and I believe apple changes the pattern of the three connections
Therefore the mic isn't connected. Here is the klipsch spec
Advanced 3-button mic and remote system Full music and/or voice control on select Apple products*

I was looking into buying some headphones soon and I never would have thought there was an iPhone version and an Android version of Klipsch. Thank you for the info.

[Q] Increasing Bluetooth Volume on Nexus 5

Hi,
I have a rooted Nexus 5 that I use for music with bluetooth headphones. I've applied the headphone volume boost from XDA which has worked a treat for wired headphones, but I'm wondering whether it is possible to do a similar volume boost of the bluetooth audio output. Any ideas?
Thanks!

+1 I'm looking for the same thing. The max volume on Bluetooth speaker is always 10% softer than if you plug a wire into the aux input without Bluetooth. I wonder if there is a way to boost the volume so that it matches the volume attained from a direct aux wire.

I would try to see if there may be a Xposed module that may help or if you can use a compatible kernel with volume boost. Viper Audio may also help since raising the settings within equalizer to boost vocals/bass/etc if you'd like to try as well.
Are you going for hearing loss?
Did you ever find a solution to this?

I suffer from hearing loss (too many Metallica and Korn concerts back in the day) - because of this so-called handicap, I'm interested if there are any solutions or even alternative, suggested wireless earbuds that would accommodate my needs.
The earbuds I currently have are Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 - excessively low volume.

There is nothing that can be done. The volume for Bluetooth is not controlled via kernel as other sounds are. The limitation is hardware unfortunately.
I too have plantronics back beat go and they are very low. Other BT buds may be a little louder but don't expect miracles.
The only thing you can do is go wired. Sorry to break this to you.

Wrong headset for S5?

Hello, today I bought the Monster DNA headset for my S5 but the volume control buttons don't work. I think it is because it is an "for Iphones" headset. Is there any way to make the volume control buttons working? Root + app , adapter ? Thank you.
As far as I know they use different protocols, so I don't think there's any way of making it work. I personally own the Skullkandy ROCnation aviators, and they are also designed for the i**** devices.
Only way you can overcome this issue is using a cable from headphones designed for Android, you can find many spares from other headphones on eBay.
Good luck.
