I use the latest version and have the problem as soon as I would like to insert the smileys The cursor jumps back to the beginning of the entry. Always happens when I want to insert smileys.

I did install some cab found here on XDA (don't have the link anymore) to display hebrew characters, they are now displayed ...but in reverse order.
example : "good morning" is displayed "gninrom doog"
The file was working correctly on the HD though...

Now it's working. The only thing is that when I click on a sms, then the text is Left to right instead of right to left.
it doesn't work for me. I mean when I go inside an SMS messege I get the "reverse hebrew". any solution?
There is no solution to this at the moment.
If you want to be able to read the message in Hebrew you will need to look at the Sense maiin SMS tab. there it will show up correctly.
Another issue for me is that IE not working with that version. Does someone know what registry keys may affect it?
internet explorer worked just fined for me with the version posted above. I could read hebrew just fine.
i am using swype 3.9 (version 2 caused bugs with my camera but didnt have this bug)
i click on a message and go to reply, i am swyping all over the place but nothing appears about 10 seconds later i can type, i have the htc patch for sms and i have no lag at all if i used standard keyboard its only swype
any one got any solution?
I have same problem - more like 5 or 6 seconds for me. I have just learned to live with it as I like Swype so much I could not do without it. I would like to know if there is a fix for this (I am not a techie so really would not know what the conflict could be).
I am running Artemis Rom ver 6. (This is soooo good)!!!
Are you using conversation mode? Usually its caused by have multiple messages from one person and the phone is trying to load them all. Wanting a fix for this too. Switched back to traditional; mode for now..

you can actually start writing. everything I'm typing in the "unresponsive" time, is filled in correctly after a couple of seconds.
I would suggest it's due to the version of Swype you have installed and by the sounds of it, you have the T-Mobile one. I had the same slow response from it, reverting back to the old Omnia version corrected the issue.
However there is a modded version of the T-Mobile one available now (you'll have to search for it, as I believe it will get removed if I post it). Which is working fine and it doesn't require the devices model name to be changed in order to work correctly.

Got exactly the same problem, the more sms i have in a conversation .. the more i have to wait... near 15seconds for a 250 sms conversation... only in Swype, original keyboard do not have this behavior....

Try this, it will trick the phone to load all messeges at ones, it's a little workaround until they fix the bug ...
When u enter the sms application to reply an sms press the menu once and then close it, now they should be all loaded....
I don't have any delay with Swype, but I did experience the same thing when I used the one extracted from T-mobile, it was very annoying indeed so that's why I installed a different version.

Same problem, but with SPB keyboard, I don't have swype.
So I suppose the conversation mode for SMS is responsible

There is a fix for that on the HTC Site (latest SMS update from end of january), also new ROMs don't have this problem anymore.
Ive had this with every keyboard i've used.
I learnt to live with it.
but it agree, its a pain in the ass.
And it only ever does it on sms'.

the htc fix fixes it for what seems every other keyboard
I use swype, I have this problem but didn't notice this till after loading 2.13 rom.
no new roms dont fix this problem its been around forever. best thing to do is get a non htc messaging rom or just disable it with the tweak

5.i have use palringo to connect with yahoo messenger and facebook chat but it not support yahoo messenger voice call. what i know is nimbuzz can make yahoo calls but it not support this phone. are anyone here know what is the best software i can install that work with yahoo calls and skype?
6.how to remove programs that i install on device storage? when i look at setting->systems->remove programs it just show application in the storage card only.

i've recently bought the htc one x with android icecream sandwitch i guess.
my problem is that, the facebook dialogs, which are used to allow apps to connect to facebook, are in french. My phone language is german. Does anyone know how to change that, if it is possible ?
That's strange...are you sure you did not install Facebook in French?
You could try to remove and reinstall it.
Another thing I can suggest is to try installing morelocale2(you find it in the market) and select german as your language, hoping it will uniform it as the main language of all apps.
Ok i tried both methods, these dialogs are still french. Although i was not able to remove the facebook app completely. I just could remove the update as this semms to be build into the rom. Any other ideas?

Anyone figure this out? I just picked up my HTC One X and it is doing the same thing. I want mine in English!
i noticed, that opening facebook in the browser also gives me a french page by default. You can change the language on the webpage though. Still the screens within apps appear french for some apps.

When I press the search key, it brings up my recent calls, not Bing. At first, I didn't care, but now it's just annoying. I don't think that it's a problem in the registry, the phone still thinks it's using it's search function. I think it might be a problem with the search.exe or something.
Can someone please help me figure out what to do, here?

First of all if you have app named Root Manager then run it and enable All applications Trusted then you need 2 apps:
1.SearchKeySettings
2.QuickMenu
that i think there are exist in your rom.finally run search key from your phone settings and choose Quick Launch by ultrashot from that list.
But my rom is Dynamic7 hope it helped and Sorry for my bad english
