Hi All,
The music player seems to skip the end of certain songs when played over bluetooth at least (Sony HBH-IS800). I'll have to try it on some wired headphones to see if it has anything to do with BT, but has anyone else had this problem? Happened on the stock ROM, the rooted stock ROM and is still happening on Liquid Thundersense 1.3. Kinda annoying.
Thanks!

Ive experienced skipping and stuttering when listening to audio over A2DP (Bluetooth) on both the original GB leak adn the official 2.3.3 update from LG & T-Mobile. The skipping and stuttering has improved on the newest update, but it def is still a major issue when doing ANYTHING besides listening to music. This occurs on ALL LG .3.3 based ROMS such as EB107, the Stock OTA, and WeaponG2x.
My hunch: It seems any type of IO access causes a skip, as anything strenuous like listing apps (settings), cruising around the launcher, opening closing apps, etc causes stuttering, sometimes to the point that its literally impossible to listen to. Its less "skippy" when the screen is on, phone left alone with the music player open. It skips\stutters more if the music player is in the background.
Anyone else expericne this? Please try this on multiple sources (Pandora, music, AudioGalaxy, Youtube) before stating it works or doesn't, as Ive found certain types of playback (such as Youtube) are more likely to exhibit the issue.
Ive tried to diagnose this & have had very little luck. At the moment, I cant listen to music and do ANYTHING else on my phone w/o it skipping and stuttering, which shouldn't be the case for a dual-core android.
Anyone have anything to add? Possible solutions? Fixes?
Thanks!
Same issues here. I've learned to just not use the phone at all while listening.
Also using the camera while using Stereo BT shuts it off completely.
I've had issues with it on the MLB At-Bat app, and that's even when I'm not touching the phone at all...
Hey guys Im currently having a problem with my phone. I just installed a JVC Bluetooth stereo and I only get this minor static through my speakers when on bluetooth. Its not bad and plays under the music but It would drive me crazy on long trips. It plays great though my dad's stock android phone on blue tooth. Playing cd's it doesnt give the static. So it has to be something with my gs3.
I currently have root66_VZW_I535VRBMB1.7z which is 4.1.2. My kernel is 3.0.31-861013. build number jzO54k.i535VRBMB1 installed on it.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could try to fix it. Another rom maybe?
Thanks,
Makos
So starting last night I have had problems with my audio on my Galaxy nexus (Rom'd/Root'd) where the Bluetooth audio would drop (Still shown as playing) and pick up where it is supposed to be if it was playing full time.
Then I decided it might be my rom breaking after a year due to apps? So reinstalled the same rom and had the same problem.
Lastly I went and updated from a 4.2.2 rom to a 4.4.2 rom and the problem has went from it dropping audio to it just not showing it playing and it plays audio randomly later.
With my 4.2.2 rom my temporary fix was to unpair/repair the audio device.
I have already tested this with multiple bluetooth devices (Philips as140 bt clock, Backbeat go 2's, and the oontz angle)
Tested two audio players (Google music, Rocket player)
Any ideas?
Hi all,
I just got myself a 16GB oneplus one. It is running on Cyanogen OS version 11.0-XNPH05Q.
I got this problem, which hopefully someone has a remedy for it:
During MP3 music playbacks (no matter what MP3 player app I have installed), there is always this audio ''breaks'' in between the song. It's like the music will start to play -->break-->play.
The playback is not very smooth and it's rather irritating.
Anything I can do to remedy this?

Honestly, I would try updating your rom. CM12 fixed a lot of audio issues, and a host of others as well. In any case, a custom rom and kernel would most likely be the easiest fix. Other than that, there's probably a thread somewhere around the OPO forums related to this

Unfortunately, I have tried using CM12 (latest weekly ROM cm-12-20150308-NIGHTLY-bacon), as well as LiquidSmooth ROM 5.0.
However, the problem occurs once the headphone is plugged into the headphone jack. I am getting this audio break from youtube videos, MP3 files in internal memory, etc...
But there aren't any issues with the music playback if I am using wireless bluetooth headphones or if the music is coming out from the phone speaker itself.
I suspect this could be a hardware issue? Maybe with the headphone jack?
Hi guys,
Any remedies on my problem? And by the way, if I downgrade my phone to CM11-33R, this issue of "music glitch" will disappear. Any ROM above CM11-33R will have this issue. This occurs only for music playback through earphones. No issues through the phone loudspeakers.
And another thing is what I found out accidentally:
When this music glitch happened, I just need to play some rock music at max volume, the phone will automatically bring up the google voice search screen. And I just need to close the google voice search and the music glitch will totally go away until the next time i plug in the earphones again.
No matter what i have tried, i.e. Official lollipop, franco kernel, etc... The music glitch is still there
Thanks
Hello Gang,
I am having some weird Bluetooth issues, I am trying to stream music to my Bluetooth deck in my car. It's a Kenwood unit that has worked for month's and not a single problem, recently it seems that my audio stream when I play any kind of music crashes the connection. It plays fine for a while and then randomly stops working, with my deck display reading aud disconnected. There is no issues with the deck and I can play music for hours with my old phone, and it did work before on One Plus until about a month ago. I am running stock lineage build, no mods kernels or anything else. The only thing that fixes the problem is a reboot of the phone, then it could work for 4min or 4 hours. Playback seems to continue but no sound. Also it does not matter what app is playing music or video. Any ideas would be appreciated greatly.
