hopefully that's not the same exact leak that we have that's causing reboots. If so, I'm going to laugh at Verizon.
Its the same update that was leaked, 1.13.605.7.

They are both 1.13.605.7 but we could of just had a pre-release leak or something.. I remember that happening on the Vibrant.
I don't understand how you're supposed to start the download.

So yeah the ruu leak is probably the OTA, and I'm not happy about it

Considering people get reboots on the stock radio too...I'm not sure it matters.
I personally think VZW/HTC should hire/pay our devs for their contributions/work/testing. Maybe, in the case of leakers, they do But, the 'us against them' mentality is unfortunate, if both worked together, everyone wins.

If the update is any different than our current leaked RUU, yes. I seriously doubt that it is, though.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
whats funny is if I use the leaked ruu with new radio which is supposedly the leaked OTA I get reboots.... If I use das bamf 1.5 remix or non remix with either adryn kernel or lean kernel I get no reboots.... so It doesnt matter to me
@ jcase, that's crappy news (for the news itself and for losing the bet with Adryn)...hopefully it doesn't cost you too much...
hopefuly it will be release in the near future

As most of us, I have been following this since the leak this morning and we now have a flashable release over at AndroidPolice.com (http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/05/16/download-leaked-gingerbread-rom-for-the-htc-thunderbolt/)
I am personally waiting until das BAMF comes out with their next version based on GB just so I don't have to download and configure another rom within days, but again, congrats to Jcase.

Ha yeah...Adrynalyne said it was a trojan to free up bandwidth for dev's to download it. The original "leak" was not flashable and people would have messed up their phones if they jumped the gun too early. Probably did himself and the rest of the community a BIG favor (no threads titled "Help I tried to flash the leak and screwed up my phone")
Has anyone tried this yet with 4G? Will this work with Titanium Backup so I do not have to reload all my info and apps?
Thank you!!!

We'll see. I was going to finally root my TB this weekend, but I will wait to see if this 30th is true or not.
I am hesitant because this is my first smartphone and reading up on rooting does not make it seem easy. I have done some flashing of roms with previous phones I had, but this seems to take it to a whole another level.

Rooting the phone manually is simple. If you follow the guide in the dev forum, you will have no problems, just take it step by step, it's pretty much a copy and paste operation. If you wait until GB root may not be so easy.

I'll say we have 2. Danalo and imnuts. I frequent rootz all the time and never see anything happening there. Team GummyCharged is "working on getting Liberty to our phones."
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the guy that's gonna sit here and say, "we have no development, this phone sucks, i hate the world." I completely understand that people move on, or get stuck on something and end up giving up. So don't start with the "uh...." comments. I was simply stating that Danalo is the only one that is ACTIVELY doing stuff and that I was going to start helping.
I also know that Infinity is still in the works as well. So as I was saying, 2 devs, 4 themers. Not very much going on for a "flagship" phone with an unlocked bootloader.

Hey guys I have some questions that will help me decide whether I should install the AT&T ICS leak or not. So if I install it, will I still be able to receive OTA updates? Also, when I add widgets, will it look like it did in 2.3.6? Like with the menu at the bottom. And last of all, will I still have the tilt to zoom feature? Or will that be gone? Thanks a lot!
**Sorry I forgot to mark this thread as a question. I didn't see that until after I clicked submit.
1. No
2. Widgets are the same, at least I didn`t find any difference
3. Yes
I find UCLE2 (debloated non-root) fast and stable as a DD. I planned to qualify for OTA with a nandroid of 2.3.5 I took. The thing I miss most is better looking and smooother navigating themeing, like I had in Doc's Master on my Captivate.

No reason to in my opinion. Unless you plan on keeping your phone stock anyway.
UCLE2 in its stock form was good for me, but it drained the battery very quickly. Sky ICS 4.2 has been very, very good, even reasonable with the battery. I wonder if the final ATT release of ICS will be even close.

I guess I will also root. I don't see a point in not to. I mean it saves battery, can make your phone faster, and more. Is there all the cool features in Sky ICS from 2.3.6 stock? Like the tilt to zoom? Thanks
**Edit** Oh and what is UCLE2?
UCLE2 is the code name of Samsung's third leaked (sneak preview) stock ICS Rom developed for the Skyrocket. It might soon prove to be identical to the ICS upgrade version AT&T eventually finishes "customizing" and releases OTA. it is Android 4.0.4

Sorry, not trying to be ****-ish, but I'm just not buying it. I don't care if it was the CEO of AT&T who said it -- we've all been lied to enough times by now on official ICS.
Screw official OTA's. I'd be perfectly content if we could just get kernel source from a leak. Hands are tied on a ton of stuff our devs could be doing until we get that.
