Anyone else itching to remove this as well. Mine was put on crooked. Kinda want to find someone to laser etch it in to the frame like the part on the other side of the connector.

god yes, I might just yank it off and store the sticker somewhere.

I am considering that. The big sticker at the base of the backplate is going for sure.

I looked around but couldn't find anything relative to my question.
I dropped my Asus Transformer and although nothing is damaged as far as buttons, touchscreen or even the performance. The only issue is the back as a crack on it. I have searched on Google and have had no luck but I'm looking for the back cover and maybe the frame of the transformer. I know it's easy to replace as everything is just a unscrew and pop it off. I have all the tools necessary just no luck finding the back cover and border frame.
So my question is does anyone know where I might be able to find the frame or back. I know these devices are in such high demand that Asus probably hasn't developed parts for it. Also the warranty doesn't cover "mishandling" of the device.
Any info would be grateful. Thanks guys!
I guess in the worst case scenario where you can't find a replacement part or get them to fix it for you or return it... you could always get one of those silicone or whatever cases? The ones where you put a hard cover on the back of the device? It'd cover up the crack.
Do they even make those cases for the transformer?
You might be able to send it to Asus for repairs.
They do! I saw a youtube video of a white one. I'd totally get it just for the color.. but I do like the copper tone.
Sorry for reviving this old thread, but I do need the same back cover plate for my transformer. I have searched and googled but no joy

No mate.. What op and i are looking for is the original back plate and not a rubber cover /protection

my screen has stopped responding...i have yet to try to get it fixed but if asus wont fix it ... i believe im going to sell the transformer for scrap ...so u may be in luck ill let you know what happens with Asus and the warranty
Awesome! Let me know maybe we can work something out
Sent from my GT-I9100M using Tapatalk
Maybe we can figure something out. Especially since Asus told me they don't sell parts. You have to send it to them and they will charge you for what they fix. I need the back and the frame so whatever we can work out would be great.

stryke504, All i need is the back camera lens.. Believe it or not, its only held by glue and mine fell off. If you know how to disassemble the transformer you can access it when you remove the back. I can just get the one from your cracked case if its still intact
Sent from my GT-I9100M using Tapatalk
Well mine is still intact. If I can get his, after I take my back off I'll give it you.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
I might. Can't seem to get the screen to work, its not bricked and the computer does recognize it. Going to call asus and see what I can do.

I got error while trying to flash stock back to the tablet and now the thing is pretty much dead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1973598
Do you think if I RMA the tablet they can still see that it is rooted?
wooow thank you for this!in last months i used tf very rarely, because i have 2 prob:
display broken,but very usable yet
battery not charge.or i should leave it always docked or always on ac charger (and i blame asus with all my voice for putting 15v in out on the charger)
3,but not a problem,ac charger broken.with battery died it's a plus have it working
I used this video to dismantle mine

Based on the way the edges stick out like that, I would assume it is of the same design quality as the official TF101 sleeve (which was total garbage). Wouldn't want something like that anyway, its uncomfortable to hold and feels extremely cheap. looks like they just combined the tf101 sleeve with the transleeve

Even on ebay..nothing..
Trust me guys, you don't want it... I'm sending mine back.

I got it in black. I find the edges are horrible and it ruins the look of the tablet. If you use it without the dock then the case is too loose.
Overall would have expected something far better from Asus.

Are you sure you got the Asus Transformer Pad TranSleeve DUAL? Not the older model? Dual looks on paper very handy. Thinking about getting it but now not sure if people just mix this up with the older cover or is the new one also crap.

Yep, that's what it said on the Asus site, my invoice and on the packaging.
I just didn't like it. I now have a Poetic case and pouch for dock. The lot fits into the pouch as well so it's still one item. It's a lot more convenient and works better for me.

Well considering that I am living in Finland also , decided not to take a risk and order a potentially sucky case.
Verkkokauppa.com seems to have those after couple of weeks. I ended up ordering another case which can also cover the dock dock which I don't have yet as it seems to be impossible to get in Finland with grey colour. Only champagne available.

I tried to search through the forums but I was unsuccessful. I'm really not sure what it is I am looking for. On my old TF201 (Exchanged at BestBuy) I had these little dust covers that fit into the bottom of my Prime to keep dust and other materials out of the bottom of the device. Upon opening my Infinity I noticed that these two little rubber plugs are missing. Does anyone know where I would be able to get a set of them?
Thank you for any help
I don't think you can get them anywhere. They don't seem to include them with the Infinity. Only the cover for the 40 pin connector.

Thank you for your reply. I was afraid of this. I was hoping that there was some kind of quick fix or somebody had made a set to buy.
I was disappointed with this as well and would have kept them from my prime that i exchanged if I would have known.
The also removed the fake sd card, but I just put a real card in the slot.

Been searching around but only sellers I can find are in the states.
Failing that does anyone know if the prime or TF300 docks are compatible?

The UK only sold them as a unit together. Your best bet is look for a TF201 dock.
Thanks for the info. The ebayer I got it took didn't declare it was a us one I only found out when I opened the package up and found a us charger. Glad I didn't have to bid too high to get it.
I've got a prime already, will try it in that dock.

The prime dock will fit the Infinity just fine. The TF300 dock will fit, if only loosely. If you want to use it though, you need to pad the back of the Infinity with tough cloth tape. You can't pad the front as it fits snugly into the dock on that side.
