Has anyone tried or managed to get working, the Honeycomb music player on Gingerbread? This is seriously the best music player (imo), and it worked perfectly on Serendipity with the last Glitterball kernel. But I can't find the original apk I had used on froyo, and the ones I've tried on Gingerbread w/ xcal's kernelf force crash every time I try to play music. I mean, the app loads, and shows my music and I can scroll through everything, but when I go to play, it FCs.

I want to upgrade the music player to the honeycomb music player only forty the cloud sync feature, but will it work. I know that it works on cm7, but will it work on a stock nxs with root
Don't think so, at least I tried once before going to CM7 but it did not work.
From what I've read around it seems that google has shut off the servers to phones that shouldn't have the honeycomb music player. So your phone just sits there and says syncing forever, but doesn't actually do anything. Anyone wanna correct me on this however?
Hi, I'm running VIrtuous 4.0.2 ROM, and have recently installed CM9 music app. To be honest I didn't uninstall the previous one so for some time I had two music players. But yesterday I decided that I want to check awesomeness of Beats Audio and installed the add-on with it (for sense 3.6). It worked fine, but then the CM9 player didn't want to open.
Moreover, the "normal" equalizer is not showing, and it looks like it has been erased.
Is there any way to revert back to CM9?
And the last issue - I have noticed that while playing music on CM9 player, after some period of time (like 30 minutes) the app starts to lag very much. Music is still playing bu UI is not responding...

That is cause Mindnote does not have Touchwiz??
Try alternative players like Google Play Music or Ubermusic or something...
I have a Tab 2 7.0 running CM 10.2 (4.3) and ever since I upgraded to this Rom anytime I try to play music on PowerAmp or TuneWiki, MusixMatch, Apollo or any other Musicplayer app TuneWiki Closes and then I get a pop up saying " Unfortunately, TuneWiki has stopped" and the music will keep playing and every few seconds I get the same popup message.
I had to freeze TuneWiki to get it to quit auto launching and giving me a popoup window constantly.
I can open Tunewiki by it's self and it functions fine until I try to play music.
I did lot's of searches to see if there is a known problem with CM 10.2 or even stock (4.3) and TuneWiki but can't find any info.
Is anyone else having the same problems?
yep, this happens to me too. on any AOSP ROM! its annoying!!
