LG Android phones are still to new and there phone hardware has never been to great. I would go with HTC phones. They are AMAZING phone makers. I have the HTC Mytouch 4G and its 100% FULLY Unlocked. I LOVE IT!!!

I have only had HTC phones, and have spend some time on Samsung and Acer android devices. I recently received an unlocked LG Optimus 3D at a developer meetup/presentation showcasing that device. Though it's only been a few days...WOW I'm amazed by this amazing phone!!!
LG has really put a fantastic experience together. The 3D aspect is very well executed, but even with that aside, the UI, speed, and overall quality of the device is solid.
I can only however give a limited review of the device due to the fact that the model I received was not compatible with my mobile carrier and I have yet to test connectivity beyond WIFI. I have contacted LG and requested a swap to a 1700/2100 version (which apparently does exist) and am waiting for their reply. I will post more when I am better able to test its entire functionality.
But have no fear of LG, they are really putting out a great Android product!

The development device supports 1700/2100...

Hey AndroidZ28,
If that's the case, then either my unit is defective, or there is a hidden way to initialize that bandwidth that I can't figure out. Could you recommend a way to activate those frequencies? Thanks in advance!

I also really like this device also. I got mine the same way as above.. I have tmo and for some reason mine works. All I had to do was just slide in my sim card and walahhh it worked.. Ohhh man it is a rad phone.. There are a few things like auto correct and the news widget from my nexus one.. but it is a really good phone..

[Q] LG Optimus S

Wanted to know if there will be a forum started for the LG Optimus S. Have it rooted, and wanted to know if any devs will do work to get recovery working and start developing ROMs.
This would be Fantastic! Phones have gotten so big lately so the size, the 2.2 & the features along with the build quality have this at the top of my list for Cyber Monday. A modest speed increase would make this thing dreamy. I would love to get that file from you if you don't mind. I could do with out the recovery for now as it would still let me tether.

great thanks! Rooted LG Optimus S is a reality a day after its released!
Oh this is cool! I just saw it in the store yesterday and it feels like a really solid phone. I hate that it doesn't have a hardware "d-pad", but I might be able to look past it given how smooth it operates. Now that it's rooted... awesome!

Seems like it might be worth giving it its own subforum.
Is that the same phone? The button layout is different...
Just flashed recovery image thats working. If anyone here is interested the link is http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-s/219777-need-dump-build-recovery.html
Doesn't seem to many developers here at xda are to much up on working on this particular phone at the moment. Hopefully they do, it is a great little phone that far exceeded my expectations.

Hey guys I rooted my Optimus S and flashed this from android central. http://www.mediafire.com/?9cca3y42qjqcsnf and for Sprint Apps. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12856751/spint-apps.zip . Then I ran a full benchmark test I got it to 992.
I hope this helps.
Download to root of sdcard the to enable jit. Benchmark goes up to 1003.

I take it the Optimus S is the same as the X2 (Dual Core Tegra)
If so, then Im the same. I plan on buying this phone next month (released end of Jan in the UK)...finally replacing my HTC HD2...but wouldnt buy it if there is no intrested from the Devs at XDA.
So whats the plan? Is the LG good enough for its own forum here?
Hell Yes it is. I hope they update us to GB(android 2.3) sometime soon

Absolutely not the same phone. The LG Optimus 2x is going to be the worlds first dual core processor. The screen is a 4" screen, camera is better, full HDMI out. The Optimus S/T is a great phone at a great price, but in my opinion it wuold be a downgrade from your HD2. I would suggest waiting for the Optimus 2x. That's going to be an amazing phone. I am sure it will get it's own forum.
Blame LG for not having a little bit of creativity. Come on, they have 4 widely different phones all named optimus. I think the Optimus 2x should be called the Megatron 2x!
It will still be nice if the Optimus had its category.

Which T-Mobile Phone

Hi everyone. I just found out some information about my job and our cell phone providers. We were getting discounts when we have AT&T, but thats about to change. We will no longer get a discount on AT&T coverage, but will on T-Mobile, so Im switching. I currently have a Captivate and want to get another Android phone. Im so lost as to which one to get.
So Ive come to all of you for help. Its really between the Nexus S, G2 or MyTouch 4g. Can anyone please tell me which of these is the best? And just some extra info, the G2's physical keyboard is really a non deciding factor for me. Its nice, but not necessary.
Thanks in advance.
i would say nexus s because its the newest thing and it has a ffc (like the mt4g) and it also has a better camera the mt4g and g2 cameras dont live up to the hype that comes with the phone
The only thing that jumping to T-Mobile and the nexus s was a fear of having the same GPS issues as my captivate. I used a fix to improve GPS that was posted here, but I would rather not have to deal with something like that.

I think Nexus S is a smart choice at the moment, if you really want a latest android right now.
I think Nexus S is a smart choice at the moment, if you really want a latest Android right now.
Android: G2 or MyTouch.
Nexus S is pretty meh and has some start limitations (i.e. no SD Card, No HD Video Recording, etc.).
MyTouch has both these and a FFC. I would expect it to get at least a Gingerbread update.
Same for the G2. It's *almost* a stock phone and it should be trivial for HTC to support this phone going forward. Ginger is almost guaranteed for this phone, and I wouldn't even rule out the next Android version, since it will be trivial for them to get the update up and running for this device.
If you want a WP7 device there is only one choice.
Then there is the HD2. I personally don't think it's that great a device but the people who like them are quite vicious about it. Perhaps you'd really get into it. It's a good dev phone.
Nexus S has no HD video? Wow, I didnt know that. Seems like it was a given since the other Galaxy S phones do.
Thanks for the info N8ter, that should make my decision a little easier.

Don't think these other companies were ready...

Samsung... LG. They wanted to enter the superphone battle but really had no idea of what they were getting themselves into. The time is over where you can just release a phone and not update it expecting it to just continue to sell.
HTC has been dealing with Android for awhile and definitely understands this concept. Many of their phones are receiving Gingerbread while many others have had announcements about updates. HTC stated a phone wasn't going to be updated then a day later had a change of heart. Days later an announcement was made with details of the update.
Communication and promptness is what is going to make or break these companies. Samsung had a big success with the Galaxy S but no one can deny they failed with updating the device once issues arose.
LG definitely wasn't ready to have the "world's first dual-core" smartphone when they didn't even have a competent engineering team to put out good software. And now that same software team is taking forever to get it right.
Were we too naive trusting LG with a phone of this stature?

samsung was ready. I mean look at the sgs2 now. Even with not updating like you said they had mad success. Even those who said never again still want the samsung. It also is the least buggiest device on paper out there looking at the forums.
LG yes. they came in like DEEERRRP, but Samsung knew what they were doing. ****, sgs 4g lmaoooo. They may not be cool how they do it, but they know what there doing and make a good product or people wouldnt be wanting a sgs2 so bad.
Only issue they had was gps, and yes poor updates but thats just them saving money and time and sending it out on a whole new device thats the same as the last with the update. lol
LG did it right with the hardware but screwed up the software. It happens. Google has yet to work with LG, which I think is next in line.
Samsung, HTC, Motorola have all had turns with google and learning the ins and outs.
I think the next Nexus phone will be LG... that will bring them up to speed like the rest.

I've never had a Samsung Android phone before so I can't speak to the past. But the SGS2 has already received three ROM updates and four camera firmware updates in six weeks. 2.3.4 is expected by the end of the month to address an issue with the Android suspend process chewing up battery. It's for non-branded phones though and once the U.S. carriers get involved all bets are off no matter who manufactured the phone.
G2x was rushed out, to get the "first" tag.... It should have went out with 2.3. Saying that LG can not support the phone is way way way too early. IMO they are trying to make 2.3 release be a complete package, as bug free as reasonably necesssary and possible. Tons of updates are equal to one really solid release, some may prefer lots of updates, while most want a solid release, without the need of tick tacking.
LG is essentially relying on pure Android.....if the G2x is not ready for primetime, then Android itself is not.
Incorrect. LG's abomination is not pure Android. It's been proven that they heavily modified the build and just made it LOOK like stock. So again, it falls on the shoulders of LG to get it right.

Who rushed them?
And how did that work out for them?
Please do not put Samsung in the same league as LG. One year ago I would have said, yea sure, go ahead but not now. They just made the worlds most powerful Android device ever made and there getting involved with the DEV community. They have already released 3 updates for the SGSII which is 3 more than LG issued for the G2X. The SGSII has the least amount of bugs out of the new dual core phones being released.
Samsung just joined HTC at the top. LG just replaced Samsung of the Behold II days.
I might be wrong but why did they come out with naked 2.2 froyo?? im guessing cause they wanted to release the phone as soon as possible because if LG could come out with a dual core phone im sure LG knew that other competitors will be coming out with one soon. Also look at them right now they handed out couple of G2X w/ GB to tmobile employees for testing, why couldn't they do that earlier. I guess they figure "hey lets release the phone w/ 2.2 Froyo and figured it would be "safe"". But i guess that was a big mistake.
As far as im concern my phone works perfectly
in my opinion, yeah LG brought out an unstable phone
but then with the developers roms and kernel, my g2x is the fastest and smoothest phone i've ever experienced with.
im not saying that LG was perfect, but its because of them & developers that i have a phone that rapes any other phone on the market

The Atrix is dual-core on Froyo with the same Tegra SoC and hasn't experienced the issues the G2X has so you can't blame Froyo. The Sensation and SGS2 are dual-core on Gingerbread and don't have similar issues either which would mean dual-core phones can work successfully with any newer Android version. So, anecdotally, all fingers point to LG's software and/or hardware decisions.
The whole reason I bought this phone was because it was a very powerful, stock android phone. It had all the right hardware. I knew that because it was in the G series it woiuld recieve crazy dev support and I was sold when I heard cyannogen would be making a rom for it. Its unlocked and flash happy. Honestly I didnt care then and dont care now what the phone was like when it was released. I bought this to tinker and tinkering I am doing lots of. If I wanted a locked down phone with a laggy UI i would have gone with an HTC or motorola phone. At the time i had no clue HTC would unlock the bootloader but has that even happened yet?
If htc was so prepared they would of unlocked the bootloader, which they didn't.

If anything, it would make more sense to think that HTC is incapable of producing solid tech. And quite honestly, it shows. The G1 was a horrid pieces of hardware [note I said HARDWARE, not software] that only stood out because it was the first Android device. The MyTouch was and is slow and clunky even after official upgrades and custom ROMS , where as the Cliq XT [which at one point was WORST PHONE EVAR!~!! according to most android fanboys] is absolutely blazing on its CM7 port considering its a 600mhz processor. And don't get me started about all of HTC's subpar Winmo phones that plagued T-Mobile for a long time [probably why smartphones didn't take off for a while til the iPhone and Blackberry]
On the other hand, LG is more than capable of producing a high end piece of mobile electronic. Considering they have a long history of computer hardware, also applicances and commercial technology. If you think a SoC based Android phone is complicated, please take a look at service manuals for a modern washer or a 3D HDTV. LG has the assembly lines, the manpower, and the R/D to develop a top class mobile device. And the G2X is easily the best designed phone on the market. I'm sorry so many people have had so many issues, but a fully working G2X is miles ahead of anything offered by HTC or Samsung.
Some of you act as if LG has never made mobile phones, yet they've made some of the best and some of the most innovative devices before the smartphone craze took off.

But i can tell you first hand.
this rom is the same rom pretty much as the overseas version which has the lg skin on it. they changed the png files to be stock android and removed the settings additions.
all the hooks and java are in the framework files at least the ones i looked at. have tons of stuff that is not froyo 2.2.2 source.
this explains why both phones have similair problems.
themes cause tons of bootlopps and freezes and reboots if not done correctly. and thats probably the cause of the reboots. since this is a themed rom.
with rommers they put out an update to fix a problem. the companies seem to always try to fix everything before releasing than on top of that they are bringing a whole new os and froyo and GB are quite a bit different. and with tmobile i imagine they told them to get a working gingerbread rom on it and they would buy the phones again.
Hope this helps some.
i think your right

Worked great, the got a lot of press for being the first dual core, which is why they rushed.
The sales have been so strong that they ran out of the phones. Negative press is pretty much on this site and similar, which probably reaches about 5% max of the buyers.
They released with 2.2 which gives most a strong belief that 2.3 will solve a ton of issues whether or not I have experienced them.
The G2x will always be part of the against other phones, as part of the benchmarks, where as the Sensation will drop off.
So did it work, I think so.
Looking forward to 2.3....if it introduces problems I will be very upset.

[Q] Best 3D phone: LG or HTC?

Hi everyone, I'm considering getting a new phone and I'd like a 3D one...
I'm considering either the HTC Evo 3D or the LG Optimus 3D and though I read a lot about each phone's specs I'd like to get some of you users opinions about their performance...
Considering that I like to constantly update the latest ROMs including CyanogenMod I wouold appreciate any advice you can give me regarding this LG and any pros cons you can think of...
Thanks in advance to everyone!

3D phone ... we dont even consider HTC a 3D phone. There are many better phones (non 3D) than O3D but not EVO 3D
Being 3D frame work not open custom development with 3D is not at the highest level and LG firmware have issues.
People are experimenting with firmware of 3Dmax which have basically the same hardware to work on our O3D. If successful you will be holding in your hands one sweet piece of technology.

As cool_recep pointed out already lots of issues with LG's O3D. Good that you're doing research before buying that's what I do myself. But when the phone is just launched there isn't much information one can get. So i was suckered into buying Nokia N900 and recently O3D.
If i had waited few months like you have done, i wouldn't have made one of the biggest mistakes ever in my electronic purchases in 40 years, of buying this good piece of hardware but with the worst software support and bugs.
So a friendly advice wait just a few more weeks/months to see how the new 3Dmax is doing and if you really want a 3D phone buy it. I wouldn't ever suggest an LG phone ever. Even if it's the last company left making mobile phones i would just keep using my old phone instead of buying anything from LG. This company ignored the whole community of O3D owners for 4 months of constant complaining before even acknowledging that there was some prob like Ghost call on O3D.
Apart from ghost calls issue im happy with my O3D.

Answering only your title question "Best 3D phone: LG or HTC?", there is absolutely no doubt that the LG is by far the best on 3D.
The HTC 3D is a joke in comparison.
I've had a LG P920 since just after release date and have been disappointed until recently. My phone always used to restart at random times when it wasn't being used, performance is a little poor compared to other devices I've had and apps have a knack of either freezing or not working such as the camera. The amount of times I missed a photo opportunity because the stupid camera won't take a picture when I press the button to take a picture. This also causes a problem when I want to use the LED flash as a torch as sometimes the flash just won't turn on.
I went for the LG because it had a slightly better camera on it and as I wanted the phone primarily to take 3D photos and videos it was the better option (I regret it now). I've also found the LG lacks 3D content on it where as the HTC I think has a film download app included on the phone.
So I would recommend not getting a 3D phone, wait for the next generation of 3D phones :
Lg optimus 3d hardware is beeter than evo 3D by far.

Thanks for your replies everyone!!!
I wasn't aware of all these issues with the LG... it's a shame coz from my reasearch it seems to have better 3D capability than the HTC, however, that's not worth much if it keeps letting you down...
btw, are there any news of any upcoming 3D phones (or this so-called next generation)?
That would be really great and I'm aware theres a second model from LG coming out soon, the P720, but not sure when or whether it's really worth waiting; from the specs it seems the only thing improved was the CPU from 1000mhz to 1200mhz...
Maybe it will improve on the issues mentioned by FC360 of features constantly crashing...
All feedback is welcome!

even we may get ics when it is released for 3d max
which would be much much earlier than the one lg officially releases for the o3d !

More or less an opinion.
Granted; I've only owned the Optimus, but I've owned many other HTC phones before and many smartphones(apple, lg, samsung, etc)
This LG has satisfied me the most out of everyone I have ever had, why? The price. This phone cost me $200 and I get better performance than some people's $400 phones. If you are willing to pay the extra bit of money, hell, get a HTC. But for $200, the O3D is a great phone. I'm in no way denying the ghost call/ghost sms issue, but I personally haven't experienced it owning this phone since release and using stock roms for most of that time. it's got a decent camera, good 3D capability(despite that not being a remote selling point to me) fast processor, and good build quality. Something I noticed when I pickup up a Samsung device 3 times the cost of mine, is it felt so unbelievably cheap. LG has good build quality from my experience.
Not to say the HTC isn't a good phone, because I've liked every HTC phone I've had too, but for the price an O3D cannot be beat.
As for me with no problem with Ghost call etc, I'd go for O3D. If you have a problem with GB, then stick with Froyo.
I think Chainfire3D cannot use on ICS. If that the case, even if ICS release for O3D, I'll stay with current ROM.
I will tell you what i say to my customers.
If you like 3D its ok.
If you dont care about 3D and not gonna use it buy a Samsung.
Sent from my LG P-920 using ghost call method...
exept 3D , the O3D has good performance with custom roms in a common use
I owe an O3D, and im totally satisfied with the hardware (only custom ROM's can make it work properly and smooth) but if you check strictly the stats EVO got better,
1gb ram over 512
540 x 960 over 480 x 800
1.2ghz over 1ghz
But anyways the 3D world on O3D is way lot better

Are you buying it? Dev friendly??

1st post in this forum!
Are you buying?, if so, what are you replacing?. I haven't been visiting XDA in a while, I used to visit everyday, and tinker regularly. I'm replacing a Tmo Note 3, yes unlocked , rooted and ROM'd. I was just waiting for the right one I guess.
Camera and removable battery were important to me. I wish this had 4GB RAM, but I think it will be fine.
As far as unlockable bootloader's , I've never owned a Blu ( supposedly rebranded Gionee), but some research looks like they have fastboot, and have been unlocked in the past. I'm hoping this remains to be true.
I hope to see this place bustling, with the pricepoint of the device , there should be plenty of involvement.

Thinking about it.... This versus Moto X pure versus OP2
This phone has seriously peaked my interest. My HTC One M8 has been on the fritz lately. The power button has become super sensitive and I find it turns itself on and off at times, thinking the button is pressed when it isn't :/
Im looking to get something soon and this phone looks like a steal for what we get.
I really dig this phone. I don't know about the lack of an app tray. is there much dev support for this phone? just wondering if I get it will I be stuck with basically an iphone layout lol
I currently have a Note 4 Att (locked bootloader) and am sick of no root. So if this phone gets rooted and has a good dev community bringing out ROMs, count me in.
Root shouldn't be an issue.

Use Google Now launcher... how do people like you even find XDA Forums when you dont even know to switch the launcher...

That new Helio X10 processor might actually get some good support. Plus its a Gionee under the skin so people have had it for about a month in China and India.

I searched assh*le and it brought up Moynia and I thought I would come on here and irritate you. Maybe I missed something, I thought this thread was talking about developer support. I assume you started somewhere and didn't just wake up knowing everything.
Im stuck between this and moto x pure... IDK WHAT 2 DO!!!
Lenn0x I've had the first 2 moto xs. While they are sweet phones I don't really see that much difference between 2014 and 2015. I like new and/or different features in my phones.
Definitely going to give this a look. I have a Huawei Mate2, but it appears Huawei wants to go all "samsung" on their pricing with
their new models. Soon as it is in the wild, and a few reviews come back, may have to give this one a spin.
If this is just a rebranded Gionee Elife E8, I wonder if we will be able to have a joint Dev community where we can use roms for both. If it's the same internal, theirs says Gionee and ours say Blu outside, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I was looking to replace my Oneplus One. Had an invite for the 2 but decided to pass since the specs aren't really that much better. The Pure XL releases on my birthday so thought I'd give it a try.
Warning
*EDIT*- I discovered just now that this forum is for a different phone than the one that I owned, and the photos and specs that are provided are for the wrong phone. So, this information is not applicable to the device that will be released in September of 2015. However, it is still valuable information as the actual Pure XL will be using the same Amigo UI that the Life Pure XL did, and could very possibly have the same crippling bugs that the last version did. Or not. I will keep this here as a cautionary tale for all.
*/EDIT*
I owned this phone between June of 2014 and April of 2015, and I had quite the experience with it. Yes, the specs look fantastic, just as good as a OnePlus One or a Galaxy Note 3. However, the software and lack of support from the manufacturer are what will kill your experience with this phone.
This device is the Gionee Elife E7 rebranded for sale in North America. I would suggest looking at the forum for that device in depth before deciding to commit to this phone. I have not checked on it in a while, but the phone will likely ship with Jellybean (4.2.2) and you will have to go through many hoops in order to possibly get a hacked, Taiwanese version of KitKat. If you are interested in Lollipop, I would forget this phone entirely. The stock ROM on this phone is a messy pile of Indian and Chinese Engrish that will leave you extremely frustrated. There are crippling bugs such as my very favorite: not being able to change the soft keyboard. Whatever you choose initially, it will be stuck that way unless you factory reset the phone. Seriously. You will similarly be able to change the default home screen, once and once only. The fancy camera sounds great, until you aren't able to actually take pictures because the Camera app FC's every time you open it. Try to use Google Camera app instead? Great idea, except that the full 16 MP resolution isn't supported by other apps. The installed music app doesn't let you sort by any parameter, you have to manually look through a huge list of all of your songs. Little things like this that you would expect thorough testing in development to have addressed have been ignored.
Also, there are only a couple of custom ROM's for the E7, one of which works fine and the other (Nori) will brick your device completely and utterly. There are several versions of this phone in the wild, one of which has true LTE support and for which Nori's ROM was made, and which the Pure XL is not. DO NOT FLASH THIS ROM. You will end up with a $300 piece of plastic. To be completely safe, do not flash any ROM that is not designed specifically for this phone. Since there are currently none, then this phone is a poor choice for those wanting to take that route.
The most you will be able to safely and reliably do with this phone is root it. Even then, you have to use King Root which is questionable at best. Don't have a Windows computer to run King Root on? That's as far as you can get. I would strongly recommend that anyone who has even the smallest desire to root, control and customize their phone (everyone reading this post) to stay as far away as you can from this phone and buy a used OnePlus One or a Note 3. The prices are almost comparable and you will end up with a phone that is truly useable and customizable.
Eyeing this phone as well, came here to see if people had luck rooting these phones with different ROMs.
If not, would probably just get a Nexus phone that is being announced soon, or even the original Nexus 6 (same price now).
And there's always the LG G3 or G4 (still using the Optimus G (G1) with the help of CM to keep it a valid phone)
Almost pulled the trigger on a Nexus 6, and then I remember about this BLU Pure XL. I was in contact with the company when they had it on Kickstarter. My main concern was the use of MTK processor. While I wasn't worrying about the performance of it (MTK high end chips are powerful!), I didn't like how they set up the internal storage partition. So I asked them and they assured me that there wouldn't be storage partition on this device, meaning about 50-55 gb would be user accessible (I deleted the email so I have no proof of their claim now). Too bad at that time I didn't need a new phone, otherwise I could have take advantage of their price of $249 (or $299, don't remember).
Anyway, I'd probably pick this over the Motorola Nexus 6, but am still considering the Oneplus One. Decision decision... too bad my LG G2 crapped out on me after that stupid Android Lollipop update. Totally messed up my phone. Otherwise I could probably still use it for another 2 years.

so my LG G2, after that Lousypop update, has gone from battery drain to WIFI drops, to the latest which was when I wasn't able to answer an incoming call. When that happened, the phone would just keep ringing and ringing, and I wasn't able to do anything with it. None of the button was responding. So I went online to see if someone came up with a fix. In the back of my mind, I knew there was a good chance everything would go back to normal once I reboot, but then since I wasn't even able to turn it off, I came across some Youtube video of a guy trying to remove the battery (which was a dumb idea to begin with... there is a reason that these batteries aren't to be messed with in the first place), and I thought maybe I could disconnect it to power off the phone. Well, I didn't get that far. LOL... I kind of broke the back panel a tad and trim, and I put everything together and just shoved the phone inside the closet to let it ring and drain out the battery. The next morning, charged the dead phone and turned it back on, everything seemed normal, except for all that cosmetic damage that I made, which I was more upset with myself since I have always kept it in tip top shape. And last week, it developed a new problem... sometimes I voice calls aren't clear, and speakers are skipping. Time for a new phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BLU Pure XL is looking better and better by the minute... until I realized it's actually even taller than the Motorola Nexus 6! LMAO! decision decision...
At this point, I'm one foot closer to getting this thing too. I have an Asus Zenfone 2 which I really like but I just had it replaced due to the cellular connection on the second SIM slot in my house and the problem still persists so it seems it is a device problem. Possible theory is because the second SIM slot only supports 2G data although why that would interfere with the ability for mere phone calls I don't know, but in any event, the second SIM slot will not work in my house and this is the second phone now, so it is going back. I am going to try one more replacement SIM card again just like last time, but I already did that once before and it didn't help. So the Blu Pure XL both slots I think are LTE so I shouldn't have the same issue if that 2G slot is the culprit issue. If it is, then clearly for some odd reason, my house, in a major suburban metro area, just must deflect those signals in some bizarre fashion because I can gets calls everywhere else, but today I tried numerous times already and it is non-functional and I already wrote in to ASUS. So I think I am going to have to return the Zenfone. I can't make calls on it today already from the second SIM-the line is unavailable and when it becomes available, it drops off right away. Obviously this is not workable and it's the ZF2 as a device that doesn't work in my house on SIM 2, but SIM 1 works just fine. Issue is, I have two lines.
I've been rocking the oneplus for about a year. Amazing phone. By far the best I've owned. My days of waiting for an upgrade are over. I plan to buy the pure xl. My only fear is that it won't be popular with the devs therefore no cool stuff to flash. I will wait a month or 2 to see what happens. At the very least I'd be OK with cm nightlies. My wife has had 2 blu phones in a row. Good quality and performance for the price.
