Path Tracking Lite records your GPS positions while you perform activities such as Walk/Run and Bike. Each activity is drawn with different color on the map. It display current and average speed, calories burned, time and distance information while performing activities. You can save and review all these information later for analysis.
Statistical information is displayed for the saved paths and saved paths can be displayed on the map. Speed chart can be displayed for the saved records. Path information is saved in Gpx, Kml and Csv file formats. You can share recorded paths by sending with your mail account.
Main features are:
- Share your path information in Kml, Gpx and Csv formats
- Kml and Gpx files can be loaded from Google Maps and Google Earth
- Load previously saved path information by Path Tracker
- Statistical analysis of each record (duration, calories burned, average and maximum speed)
- Analyze performance with speed chart
- Distance and weight units can be changed from settings menu
-Take Photos during path record and preview photos in record and edit mode

How do you calculate the calories burned?
I'm trying to find a good gps logger, that calculate the calories not only on age, weight and distance, but even on the slope of te street.
Does your program do it?

Yes, I'm trying. But Android is very restrictive and lot's of commands I can't write.

This is my first post here, so let me say Hello to all of you.
I have developed an application for monitoring sport activities with a unique feature - detecting and counting laps in real time.
It's in the Market, you can find it when you search for "lap detection" and choose Activity Assistant.
Program uses two different methods for detecting laps.
HORIZONAL LAP occurs when you return to a place already visited in this session or come near this place. On the settings screen you can choose the accuracy of the lap detection. During long winter I frequently do ice skating and I was always wondering how many laps I did on a session.
VERTICAL LAPS are the number of ascents and descents done so far. Great tool for skiers who want to know how many pistes they did a day (like myself).
In addition to LAPS COUNTER there is a classical computer which shows speed, distance and other geo info.
The track can be recorded in a gpx file and/or displayed on the map. Track files are stored on the SD card.
I know, that it needs some improvement in both functionality and the interface quality (it's v. 1.0). I'm just courious if it could be of any use to anyone. If yes, please send me your comments/requests/etc .

There two way to measure any GPS area or distance. You can either put markers manually on MAP or record your position using GPS service.
1)Manual measurement
Open app Geo Measure Area calculator FREE click on PLUS button on right-bottom, you will find tow option there i.e. Distance and Area. Choose appropriate option and you will get tow new options to choose i.e. (i) Manual measurement (ii) GPS measurement. Choose first option (i) Manual measurement and application will allow you to put markers on MAP. Hence you are adding markers manual we called this feature as Manual measurement
With Manual measurement you can put multiple markers on MAP by just one click or once touch. There are always possibility that you have added wrong marker on MAP and either you want to delete that marker or wants to adjust that marker position. To delete marker, just click once on that existing marker and that wrong maker will be removed. And if you want to just adjust that marker position here we provides great feature that is Drag and Drop particular marker. Simple hold any particular marker for a second and drag maker to position where you want to put. And you will be able to adjust that marker position without deleting existing marker or adding new marker.
2) GPS measurement
Open app Geo Measure Area calculator FREE click on PLUS button on right-bottom, you will find tow option there i.e. Distance and Area. Choose appropriate option and you will get tow new options to choose i.e. (i) Manual measurement (ii) GPS measurement. Choose first option (ii) GPS measurement. and app will give you option to record your current GPS position. You can find that option Start recording on TOP of MAP. Once you will click on Start recording application will start recording your current position. Now you simply needs to move around at your location of which you want to calculate area or distance. You can click on Stop recording once you complete your measurement. . Hence application is recording your location based on your GPS position and you don’t need to specify location manually, that’s why we called this feature as GPS measurement
