[Q] alternative to MSI BGP 100 for PX1 games??? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello
can we have some alternatives to MSI BGP100 bluetooth gamepad (ofsource except HD2 it self )? it looks like entire world is running out of this device

If you can't get the PS3 gamepad to work you might be interested in the PS1 bluetooth gamepad I have recently discovered. I know it's in the Android forums at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033409 , but it's been initially made by a Chinese guy for WM devices, though you'd have to buy his software for like 5 USD probably.

PS3 DVD Controller?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to essentially "copy" the functions of a PS3 DVD remote (which I'm assuming, possibly rather naively, is bluetooth) on a winmo device - preferably the HD2 (or my old Diamond).
I'd do one myself, but I have absolutely NO idea how to!

u tested out link?? does it work?
It doesn't work with HD2 BT stack.
Sadly, it doesn't work with the hd2 as it only supports ms bt stack while the hd2 packs a broadcom one...
good job i didnt buy it then lol , any other program that works as this would be a cool app
I would have looked into that link a bit more in depth if my HD2 had arrived by now! Next day delivery my arse.
Still, as you say Dan, would be a very cool app...

Gamepad with the Desire

Does a BlueTooth gamepad work with the HTC Desire ?
What are good models of gamepad's to buy ?
If any gamepad ever gets emulated it will be the SIXAXIS/DUALSHOCK 3 used for the PS3 so get that. As of yet no bluetooth gamepads are supported on Android (It has been done a long time ago on the Nokia N900 though )
We live in hope. I was playing with Snesoid today, such a lot of fun.
The controllers are under GBP 50 from Amazon.
GamePro in market works with 2 specific controllers. I have not tried it.
A bit late with a reply, but the Wiimote seems to be compatible:

Its for the Nexus One, haven't tried it out myself, but it should work on the Desire.

[Q] Compatible BT Control Pad

I'm on the hunt for compatible bluetooth control pads for the samsung galaxy s. I used to have one for my old i900 and worked a treat (can't recall the name of the pad), but had heard wiimote and other bluetooth controllers will not work with new samsung widget devices and htc sense phones.
Does anyone know one which will work as touch screen gaming is a bit poo
Hoping this is not a re-post
Zeemote works, even on 2.1 firmwares, but you have to buy the GamePro drivers. Here is it in action - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8y5Z_Xc7fI
On 2.2 firmwares bluetooth HID profile support is added for BT keyboards/mice, but sadly WiiMotes are still a no-go.
If your old one is a HID profile device it may well work on 2.2 firmwares.
Cheers, shall look into zeemotes. My old unit was the samsung i900 (windows mobile), and i regret selling with the pad as it looks like was compatible with gamepro. Still zeemotes seem pretty cheap so will definitely try these out.
Okay, remembered the one i had with my samsung omnia i900. It was the MSI BGP-100. This would be more ideal for me to have again as of the extra buttons (three seems a bit short on the zeemote), and originally cost me around £10 including delivery. I've noticed that since the time i had it this pad has become discontinued and i can only find a few sellers but they want £90 for it (seriously WTF! ).
So my second question is does anyone know wnywhere that still has stock of the MSI BPG-100 and selling at a reasonable price and will ship to UK or does anyone know of an equivalent that has more than three buttons?

The little Bluetooth keyboards work as game controllers with Froyo, if the game app can remap keys. I've used one with Gameboid. It's not as good as a dedicated gamepad but you get used to it.
@ DotMpeg - Yes that's the MSI pad. If you can find anywhere that sells them at a semi sensible cost and has stock please let me know. Dealextreme along all other sites i have found that still have them listed do not have stock...
@ TheBeano - Sadly not running froyo yet as the UK network providers have not released their versions quite yet (due anytime now), but when they do i'll certainly be looking into these if i still can't get hold of the old MSI pad. Either that or the temptation to debrand will grow

@ hiraj_panosian It looks like an overpriced toy and more to the point what the hell does it have to do with the topic

not used it though
Excellent find and not a bad price I'll see what i can find out about these and report back anything for other users.
Looks like the RC-100 cannot be used as a phone gamepad. Got the below message direct from manufacturer;
"The RC-100 is not a Zeemote. The RC-100 is a remote control that works over the Zigbee wireless protocol (not Bluetooth) designed to work with our line of Bioloid Humanoid Robots.
It was not designed to work with cellular phones and therefore I believe it will not serve your purpose of using it with your phone or pad."
The hunt continues...
Hunt will be over soon with CM 6.1 coming! Then we can just use our Datel Retro Wireless controllers and WiiMotes...
CM 6.1? Sounds promosing, tell me more please
I didn't read the thread properly, sorry for that. I really like the way you can wear it as a watch. It has a real screen in comparison with other bluetooth watches...

Cyanogenmod ROM 6.1, it will have a bluetooth implementation that works with WiiMotes etc.
@ hiraj_panosian - no problem. It looks nice but i can't understand why anyone would be that lazy to pull the phone outta their pocket?
@ NZtechfreak - Should have realised that CM was Cyanogen Mod Do You know if they are actually making this as a stable ROM as at present they have done nothing but experimental ones for the i9000.
Its not yet stable, they've made a lot of progress though.

[Q] Question about the coby 7015 tablet

I bought one of these for my son for christmas. Dont laugh at it being coby. It is probably the best built product they have ever made. (i know not saying much but still its pretty damn solid). My question is i would like to install snesoid on it so he can play his games. But i would like to be able to use a controller to make it easier to play for him. Would the power A controller work. I know the coby will read a usb keyboard, but dont know if the powera controller acts as a usb keyboard. Any thoughts. I would post a link to the controller but not allowed yet. If you go to power A . c o m its the one under ps3 that has the slide out keyboard. Thanks!!!
Partly answered my own question in the last couple of days. Installed snesoid and it runs very well. Hooked up a keyboard and was able to map the keys, so lack of multitouch is no longer a problem in the games. Can anyone confirm a usb controller working with this or is it only a keyboard. Buying one today but if someone knew that a paticuler brand worked well it would help me thanks!!

PSP as WIFI game controller for Android

PSP can be configure as a game controller for PC. I wonder if this can be done for Android.
This thread has been overlooked, this would be very nice for the psp homebrew scene and android app scene, for nonroot and root.
i doubt that it is possible a.t.m. due to ad hoc, although i may be wrong.
I began to be interested in this recently and I found this thread so im bumping it, also considering the time it might be worth mentioning that we are talking about old PSP, not vita. I know that developing for that PSP is pretty much non-existent but maybe it wont even be needed, there are lots of programs for PSP that turn it into wireless gamepad, someone skilled enough just needs to teach android how to work with it

psp as a controller for android devices
[QUOT=cyclonmaster;18765970]PSP can be configure as a game controller for PC. I wonder if this can be done for Android.[/QUOTE]
i have a psp that i haven touch for overa year and i woud love to use it as a controller for one of my android tablets.
That would be pretty neat if you could! It should be possible with proper bluetooth configuration.. sense ive seen bluetooth controllers work on the android aswell as the android be used as a wireless keyboard for a pc.
Dont think you can.
Could be possible, someone a while ago already did something like this, but for the PC and PS3. It allowed the PSP to act as a SixAxis controller on the PS3, and a gamepad on PC.
Bump. I would really love to see something like this for Android, using OTG or Ad-hoc/Local Network.
would be phenomenal if someone could do that. I think there are quite a lot of us who have old PSP's just lying around somewhere collecting dust. Can't even remember when I last touched my PSP 2001. But if someone will be able to make these as controllers for android, even if just via OTG, then I'm pretty sure he/she will make a lot of games (and neglected PSP's) happy, myself included.
IMO, it's more feasible that it can be done via OTG. Just thinking of all the obstacles one has to face in making this idea work via wifi or ad-hoc makes my migraine act up.
Bump it up, we need this please!! Someone point us in the right direction if you know something, or if you are developing something. I have no idea how this could help with development, but there is already a working (yes, working) Psp emulator for Android and PC, so that could possibly help........hopefully.....maybe...... I'M SO DESPERATE!!!
This would be tops.
I wonder how hard it would be, since the psp can be used as a gamepad on a pc.
Presume it'd just need similar host software running on the phone, and then have the psp connect to the phone, just like it connects to the pc.
Bump, again

It works in usb mode with Fusa Gamepad and USB joystick center. The once thing you need to make it works is the "joydev.ko" module.
