What is the app(not titanum)that cm7 uses so that it remembers all of my apps and reinstalls them? I want to try MIUI and have all my apps sync. Thanks

Hi, I am going to flash the new DFT freedom ROM later today to my HTC Mozart. is there an app that allows me to list all currently installed apps and games so i can easily search them later? the Zune purchase history doesn't really help as i don't have most of these apps installed anymore.

I agree... such thing would really be useful. I also need such a thing also for my ipad!
I bump this question to know if TODAY something similar would exist ...
So : is there any app than can list all currently installed app on the device ?
There is an app called "reinstaller" in the marketplace. It however does not list installed application but a list of all apps ever "purchased".

Is there any way to keep it from constantly running/relaunching in the background?
I'm not ready to make it my primary music player as it still has lots of bugs... but I'd like to keep tabs on its development and try it occasionally. Also, I am low on memory on my phone and honestly don't listen to music all that often... so dedicating 20MB constantly to Google Music isn't something I'm interested in doing.
I've tried using both Autostarts and Gemini App Manager to remove all its autorun permissions but it's still persistently relaunching. Any ideas?
I have like couple of apps like skyri that even when i close it with task manager it autolauch a second after, is there any way to stop these apps from autolaunch so i can start them manually.......... im using cm7.1.0.......thanks in advance

Yes, there is. Uninstall them. Or learn how Android works, and what's the difference between apps and services, and don't log in to services that are running constantly by design. And stop using task manager.
From Nexus One forum:

Please read the thread I've pointed you to.
Apps that have services - need those services. How exactly do you expect Skype to react to incoming calls, if it's not running? And if you don't want it running for some reason - log out of it.
If you see something and don't know why it's this way - don't touch it until you know.
Yeah i get what u mean , let say like this app skyri, how would u know if it use services or not????

Read the app description.
If it is something that needs to be running constantly - like wallpaper, messenger, something that syncs with internet, widget with changing data, or anything like it - then it needs.
If it doesn't - then it doesn't.
If you think it doesn't and it does - either leave it as is or uninstall.
Cool i get it thanks for the help

If anybody has ever used a iPhone you know they have a special option to disable location services on a per app basis like fb for instance. Is there a app for Android that will accomplish this?

There are apps which manage permissions, but they commonly break apps (fc) if their permissions are messed around with...
