So I have the paid (I think) version of Rom Manager and I don't see anything under the Premium part in the Download section. Shouldn't there be some ROMs in there to download? Thanks!

The premium section is usually only for cm nightlies. However cm and team currently do not have anything out for your phone yet. Be patient as they are working on it.

The premium section will be for more than just "nightlies". Just be patient, the phone is still relatively new and when you see more aosp roms start to come out im sure the premium section will fill up quickly.
Thanks for the quick responses!! I was just trying to figure out if I had the full version or missing something. Since I just paid for it, I haven't used that feature before and wasn't sure if I was supposed to be seeing something. Thanks again!
I have a question regarding the premium version as well. I recently purchased it, it says I have the licence in my applications menu, and says Rom Manager Premium at the top of the main Rom Manager screen, however I have noticed a few things that dont seem right.
1. When I click on "check for Rom updates" id doesnt do anything at all, is this normal?
2. If I go to the settings and click on device ID, it tells me "Kucebse Retrieval Error". Is there something else I am supposed to do?
I have Rom Manager Premium v4.3.0.1
and License v1.0.7 I think it was
and Clockwork Mod 3.1.0.2
Is there something I am missing?

have you guys figured any thing else out i am too having this problem... also since flashing cm6 my bluetooth will neither pair stay connected or autoconnect with my in dash dvd/nav/bluetooth head unit... which i am assuming would be the same for all bluetooth devices... do you have the same issue???
I'm having the same problem -- ROM Manager Premium license purchased but only displays "Free" under "Download ROM."
Anyone know how to get the "Premium" ones displayed?
Thanks!
For me when I fire up rom manager it now tells me my license is invalid and to re-download from the market, I do that and it's the same, all premium features locked out.

i've read that deleting your google account and doing a factory reset can fix this. will doing this mess up the phone if its rooted?
I'm having this same problem, just wondering if anyone has figured out what the deal is?
I'm on a Thunderbolt, running BAMF 1.6.2 nte (and the BAMF kernel that comes with it)
I purchase ROM Manager Premium from the Market and the license app downloaded and installed with no problems. I loaded ROM Manager back up and it says, at the top, that it is ROM Manager Premium v4.2.0.2, however when I click "Check for ROM updates" nothing happens, and when I go to the ROM Downloads page I can only view Free stuff, the Premium category is, well, closed.
Any ideas? I'm interested in whats up there
I also experience this problem. Title bar shows premium but no premium features are active.
EDIT: On SGS i9000
I am also getting this problem. When I select "Download ROM", no premium apps are being displayed.
Anybody ever solve this? My Optimus V has the same issue. Premium paid for, but NO features.
I have the Optimus V as well. I aassume koush or the Rom maintainers haven't given any value added to premium access if they aren't pushing roms out constantly. May want to open a ticket on koush's Rom manager github page as he seems to watch it a lot.
Paying for premium turns off ads and seems more like a donation. Considering the price I'd expect more from the paid version. I'm sure if we suggested paid features he would include more
I'm guessing that I'm not the only one with this problem, given the low number of downloads, but in the Download ROM section, there is a heading for MIUI, but when I select it, I just get a blank screen. I'd like to check it out, since it's such an easy way to flash.

Is that the Ceaser edition ?
Just go to the thread and download it from there (on your phone), then flash through cwm, or rom manager if you wish.
I think he's referring to the miui.us builds.
There probably still getting it setup since the section is empty.

I don't understand why some people insist using rom manager to flash roms. All it takes is a quick scan of the first few pages of the general topic to see numerous amounts of posts regarding issues flashing with rom manger. I don't ever recall seeing issues from flashing through cm recovery that wasn't user error. Why not take the path of least resistance? I guess some people like to skate uphill.

Well i use rom manager to download certain roms but not to flash them using rom manager. And i would do the same with the miui.us builds in rom manager.
And in this instance the miui.us builds (which are different from the one in the developer section) aren't listed yet, which is why the OP saw a blank screen after choosing the miui.us section. just a place holder for now you could say

I don't understand why anyone does anything, since no matter what you do, someone will tell you it's wrong.
I don't use ROM Manager to install new ROMs, the data wipes and whatnot never work, but it's a pretty convenient way to install updates. It was just something I noticed wasn't working correctly and wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem.
I wanted to flash the ROM on my captivate to some of the selections in the download section. But its not really user friendly for me. Was wanting some tips on how to use it. YouTube didn't provide much also.

ROMManager doesn't have much of a selection for us captivate users
But you have to purchase the premium version to see the downloads and the only ROM available is CM7. If you do decide to get CM7... make sure you go to that thread and double check directions.. instructions for ROMManager installation are in the OP.

So the free version is useless for captivate users.

It's still nice to have, to flash a recovery or manage your backups..or make a backup. ROM Manager is still a great app, but you need the premium version for the CM7 updates and such. From what i hear, other phones actually have more roms to download and stuff. Just not the captivate. Lame sauce I know..

the rom makers here just havent gone to hosting on Rom manager its not that big of a deal. Its not at all necessary unless you want to keep downloading and flashing CWM through there, which you can find in the android dev section.
Well got another question lol I know I'm a noob to the whole rooting Droid phone's but I changed my rom to euroskank cm9 was wondering why there is a few things in settings I can't get into or there is nothing there, do I have to update the rom, and was wondering about themes for it. Thanks in advance
I was just wondering what the certain things are that you can't get into/select?
When I go into system settings I can't open dock or icon settings but the rom is a great looking rom . There is a few other options that are blank nothing important stuff like themes

time for you to do some reading, if all your using is ROM manager, then you need to read up on NVFlash. without NVFlashing your phone, if you get stuck in a bootloop, you cant access recovery.
as for changing the ROM, just check these forums from time to time. I wouldnt reccomend automatic updates anyway because most updates in roms introduce new quirks and issues, and if you look at the thread in the forum before flashing it youll get a better idea of what those issues are.
I have flashed a new recovery have had one rom boot loop but have tried a couple like the cm9 but missing a few features I would like to have that are not in it, there so much stuff that's possible trying to find a set up I like lol

Read read read and read some more. A little reading goes a long way! You nvflased your phone right? I don't even use rom manager. I boot into recovery each and every time I want to switch roms. As for updates just go to the Site or check out rootzwiki. That is where my buddy dj posts the roms. Here is euroskank Site http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/
Hopefully I don't get heat for this lol

I was trying to buy some 25 cent apps on the market. They worked yesterday, after i updated from AOKP 2 to AOKP 3. Not sure whats going on now..
Any ideas?
The flash my have modified your build prop. I have seen it with the Xoom. Flashing lots of custom OS not everyone names your device the same. Some would say Xoom, others wingray (wifi varients), and a few other names but regardless. You'd see people complain about some apps no longer being compatible after certain flashes. That's why. The market doesn't think your the same device type anymore. Usually the dev would just fix that in the next update. Just let them know it's happening.

I figured it out. I think it has to do with either my dpi or there was a market update that killed the market.
I uninstalled the market update and changed my dpi to stock. All is well.
