I am also new on this forum and I receive the same message.
We are not allowed to post messages in the development forums.
Try in general or Q&A forum. There should be able to post you message.
You have to post at least 10 messages and after that you will receive more permissions.

You said right: you're a newbie (like me).. So you can't post in the developers section
When you post more of 10 comments, then you can post in that section.

Hi, I have been a web developer for many years and have always been interested in developing custom roms. Could you guide me on the roadmap to become a custom roms developer?

To clarify things:
AOSP is the stock Android ( not to confuse with stock ROM what means a OEM version of stock Android - adopted to the devices OEMs produce and sell ) developed under the leadership of Google - to be used on Nexus & Pixel devices only. A Custom ROM is - as the name it implies - an Android version developed by entusiasts who think they can it do better than Google or OEMs.

HI. I would like to know if there's ANY other Android flavor and version that's FASTER than the Android 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix. I have also tried Android 7.1.2 Lineage OS, but that was A LOT slower.

The real answer is, alas, it's 2023, don't expect a miracle from this device on newer versions of Android.

Well i'm looking for a faster rom, but thanks for the suggestion

Faster nobody benchmarks as so many outside factors .
Nandroid backup and you can try every rom .
As you will see most roms are no longer updated and are now well out of date on this very old tablet .
