theres 2 things that look a little stange,
1. is there a small pad of paper (with google/samsung label in the package? it says useless stuff and not instructions)
2. the phone should be loaded with google apps, market, browser, and etc. (youtube might be missing but thats an APK issue and an easy fix) but otherwise it should be a clean rom like how android should be without all the OEM companies adding there bloatware in it.
other then those 2 points it sounds like you got yourself a "pure google experience" lol

1. The manual should be there.
2. It doesn't include any aditional driver or PC suite. What do you think we're talking here ? Nokia ? Rofl.
3. Only the Nexus One came with a pouch. So you need to buy a separate one.
4. Other than the regular Google apps, of course it won't come with other crap. It's a Nexus dammit !
From your question I can only deduce that you really haven't done your homework before buying the phone, have you ?

it doesn't come with manual either.
you need to download it.
You can download the entire manual as a pdf off the google site. I think it's better this way anyways, honestly hardcopy manuals are a waste of materials, and end up getting stored away never to be touched again.

I think it is currently only device that could replace Uni all thogh it has not much improvement compare to Uni.
Here some pictures: http://forum.mypdacafe.com/viewtopic.php?t=18972
it seams it is already available in Malaysia and it cost ca. 880USD

Hi,
Anyone got instructions on how to dismantle/take apart the HTC Touch Pro??? Service Guides/replacing out LCD etc will do!
Cheers!
Mod Edit: You will find a guide now written by Makuk and others at www.mikechannon.net
Anyone can get access to any HTC Touch Pro dismantling guide???
Just received my HTC Touch Pro today and it's much smaller than my Tytn II.. So far impressed with the screen etc...
Now I really need the service manual ASAP so I can take out the cameras like I did for my Tytn II otherwise I can't bring it to work! I don't dare to open it without the service manual or without some sort of dismantling guide for it..
There must be someone out there that can get there hands on it... Anyone??? Please....??
Hope someone can help!!!
Cheers in advance!

Thanks marios, I've already got the Diamond Service Manual and I noticed the positioning of the sim card and screws are different so it wasn't useful.
If I don't get the service manual by this Friday, I will attempt opening my HTC Touch pro without it. (Not the best outcome but I can't resist myself from using my new toy daily! ;-))
Thanks anyway!

Well, just an update, I took apart my HTC Touch Pro today and removed both cameras. It was slightly easier than doing the same on my HTC Tytn II previously.
I didn't encounter any tricky parts at all. I think HTC are manufacturing the phones in a really mass production factor so it makes it easier to produce.
If you want some photos of the opening up.. then reply here and I will post them here.
Glad to hear that makuk.
Having the pictures would be nice for other users as well...

My workplace does not allow any cameras on the premises, including camera phones. Max one warning is given and phone/camera can be confiscated for good + criminal record if you do naughty things with the camera!
Disabling/covering up/removing lens doesn't count. Since the cameras have now been removed, they can't do me for bringing my HTC Touch Pro phone into the premises as there is no physical camera(s) inside my phone.
You can't find a cool phone nowadays without cameras!

I occasionally visit facilities that do not allow camera phones. When I ordered my HTC Fuze from AT&T Premier I had to choose between "with camera" and "without camera." I ultimately decided that "without camera" would kill the ebay value if I didn't like the phone and needed to sell it. But I was happy to see AT&T offer the phone without camera because that has been a selling point for some BlackBerry devices.

This is what the site says about S'Skin Lock
S’Skin Lock Application has 1 setting menu to set locking time and screen backlight.
Currently they are working on Samsung Omnia only, I have tested them on HTC HD2 too but they aren’t running. If any of our readers got them to work on their devices let us know.
it's on
http://www.wmskins.com/blog/sskin-lock-new-animated-lockscreen-application-for-windows-mobiles
must have hardware detection inside, even on samsung it only work on certain model.
i would like to have that 2
i checked and it requires the flashlite_mmi.dll
it is available in Omnia2 dump OS.nb.
Dont know if it uses any more sensors from Omnia. I would like also to use this one on HD2. Any more advance ppl could help maybe?

has anyone contacted the developers regarding a htc compatible version?
We can try to install the adobe flash lite 2.1. Now I can swtich on the setting button in the startMeun. But the srceen lock still can't run. >_<

Whether I have sent an e-mail having asked there will be a support of other phones. I look forward to hearing. And program YellowMan, Butterfly I have started on the HD2 but G-sensor does not work in the program.
But the blocking picture is displayed also an unblocking works correctly. In Butterfly the butterfly flies at a touch to the screen as is shown in video, but the back background is static.

Maybe we could trick/hack the G-Sensor or smth.
I really don't see anything impressive in that. Actually useless to me. Just as a a guy at the begining of post said: Iphone like fetish... Nice, but useless.

Why can't we have something nice, even if it's useless?!
I completely understand: The iphone is a toy, the HD2 is a powerful device with endless productivity possibilities... But why does that have to mean that the opposite is also true - Only the iphone can have cool toys? Never understood that argument...

Hey there.
I bought a Surface 2 Pro 128gb last week. Today I encounter a "big" problem: neither the touch or movement of my pen are not recognized anymore.
I've already tried to uninstall the second USB INPUT DEVICE under HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES in the Device Manager and it did not solve.
Did that happen with anyone of you guys??? Any ideas??

Have you tried the refresh?
Also somewhat obvious and I assume you have tried but best to cover anyway, you havent simply had the tip fall out of the pen have you?
Otherwise it might be time for an RMA.

Hi,
I’ve looked all over the Internet trying to find accessories for a Timmy E82 phone. I’ve checked Amazon, eBay, Google, etc… but no one responds or they refuse to sell Accessories separately. I know a case exists for it, but it’s nowhere to be found.
Does anyone know anywhere which sells these items separately?
Thank you in advance!
