HI there,
Was the Nexus S reboot properly problem solved?
I understood it was something to do with the O/S driving the Samsung radio to hard, but I don't know this to be true.
I made a youtube video of my problem here:
youtube.com/watch?v=LL_kubZ4ENc
Have anybody else had this issue with their touchscreen? I have tried to factory reset the phone. Go back to stock rom lock the bootloader, and unroot. But the problem still appear. Also tried to clean the screen and only charge it with the original charger. Nothing helps I have tried to send questions to samsung but no answers.
Have anyone here had similar issues and found a fix?

I have the same issue, only the position is different. Have you worked out a solution? Or still waiting for it? Anyone?
Im on Miui with matrix cfs 5.5 (9023)
huh, if anyone have this problem... I really tried almost everything that came to my mind or sparetime, but installing a 2.3.5 based rom solved the problem even with miui it works just fine

I have this problem also, im on CM7 nightly. cant unlock the screen. Phones barely 3 days old
Had that same problem, and it's gone now. Don't know what did fix it, but I flashed new radio and Trinity kernel, and the problem is gone now...
I thought with the 2.3.5 the problem was solved, but its back now... dunno what it is, my phone is 2 weeks old.
I'm experiencing the same issue on a stock, not rooted or in any way modified Nexus S I9023 (SCLCD version) with Android 2.3.6
Also the settings button is right under the line (so the location is different from the video) and it is unresponsive as well.
Does anybody have any idea what to do about this???
Hello all, I've recently installed Android 4 ICS on my HD2 using MAGLDR... Now what I get is random reboots mostly when doing quick "moves" or even in standby... Now I've seen several topics suggesting that the reception might be an issue. I've tested that with manual selection of the network but still I'm getting random reboots... Note that, till now that I've installed ICS on my HD2, it was clean with stock ROM and Radio on it..
Any clue??
Thx in advance!
try to reinstall all.. do a factory reset and do the wipe... if the issue persist i think its a problem with the rom and so you must wait for a next relase that fix that problem
OK, so the wife and I both have VZW S3s, rooted and running AOKP JB Milestone 1. I have had zero issues with my phone, and she didn't have any for like 3 months. Now all of a sudden she keeps getting random reboots that take her into a bootloop. The only way she can get her phone up and running again is to do a complete wipe, and flash AOKP and GAPPS again. Has anyone else seen this? What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Thanks for all the help!
Have you undervolted her phone? If you did then it probably bootloops because it was undervolted to much.

Seems like you have corruption in /system. If you want trouble free, don't use AOKP rom, use something like CleanRom instead! AOKP does have weird issue from time to time.
Hi,
I tried searching but couldn't find any info about this. I unlocked my N5 and am currently running Cataclysm ROM with franco kernel. There is a lock icon on the button of the Google boot screen which was not there on stock. Has anyone else experienced this? What caused it and how can I get rid of it?
Thanks

It's there because you unlocked your bootloader. Nothing to worry about. Everybody experienced that.
