Using this -> http://uot.dakra.lt/ I created a flashable zip which can be used with the ROM Inspired Saga 1.1(Stable).
After this flashing this zip you will get a overscroll glow effect found in Stock Gingerbread ROMS.
Just flash this zip(link below) with Clockworkmod 3.0+
Backup your existing ROM before flashing this.
Link--> http://www.multiupload.com/RMCHZTRZHN
IMP: Use this only with Inspired Saga Gingerbread ROMS as it contains patched framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk files specific to that ROM!
Hit the thanks button if you like it
Didn't work for me. Running 1.1

You wont be able to do it using root explorer. You have to download the original ROM zip file and then take out the file mentioned and replace it in the OverScrollGlow.zip file. Then redo the flashing using Rom Manager - Install zip from SD card.
Just so everybody knows. That feature is now integrated in the Rom with the same color

Yea I would tell you why if the forum search was working. You need to make a flashable zip for this to work. Don't remember the reasoning behind it. A zip was posted in one of the cyanogen threads if I recall correctly. Once search is back up I suggest searching for 'adfree' and clicking the "show posts" radio button.

How are you installing busybox? If you haven't already tried this way, install titanium backup, then open titanium and click the "problems" button on the bottom. That will give you the option to install a working version of busybox.

Just go clockworkmod and push hosts file to /system/etc via ADB.
P.S. don't forget mount system first.

For new people. It does not work on the sgs4g. It will cause issues. You will not get a working cwm recovery from it.

yap. same here.. i cant back up my rom using rom manager.. please tell me how to backup rom without rom manager
If on froyo 2.2 install cwm final by krylon360. Its in the dev section. You can make a backup in cwm recovery.

So how did u apply cwm final manually with update.zip ?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
If on froyo you have to download the moddified recovery.bin file and use a file explorer app to push it to the system/bin folder. Make sure that the file explorer app is set to r/w so the file sticks. Once you have that then put the update.zip file on your SD card and boot into recovery and hit reinstall packages. You could also Odin the Bali kernel. If in gb Odin one of the modded kernels Dr honk made.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
the Bali kernel is a ZIP though, and Odin only does TAR
there is an odin version available. search for it in the development section
wow nice. found it and flashed it. freaking out at my phone telling me in sexy robot chick voice what it's doing. thanks man

Haven't tried that app, but if you're replacing a system file, you'll probably need to adb push or use a root file explorer to overwrite it.

You need to flash the .zip file in Recovery. You can't install it by running the apk file.
On the One S, you can only write to the System partition through Recovery as there is no S-Off.
Im going to try flashing it. Sorry kind of new at this stuff

Download this: http://downloads.codefi.re/mustaavalkosta/tests/3-24_CalendarGoogle_4.4.2_signed.zip
Unzip it and open META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script with notepad++ or some other text editor. It should be pretty self-explanatory but you can try to google manuals for edify scripting. After you have edited it to your liking zip it again and just flash it. If you want to have it signed for some reason, you need to download signapk.jar from somewhere and proper keys.
I know this isn't exactly a guide for you but should get you going in the right direction.
