I would like to start a Czech thread for RAPHAEL.

I spend much time in my car, because I am a TAXI driver. I was looking for best and cheap device with HW QWERTY keyboard for me. I have chosed Touch PRO and I have bought one on aukro.cz on 20.4.2011 BUT - of course - THERE WAS only official WM 6.1 in CZECH. Brr....!!!
I have tried many ROMs
I have tried many ROMs for this device, but each of them is in English language. Only one ROM is available in Czech language, I think. I have found only this one for T-MOBILE MDA Vario IV on official T-MOBILE sites.

Hi all,
I am still using my old universal, a device which is with me already 3 years now.
It is used with WM5 and I am using the Resco Keyboard to have Cyrillic next to my Latin keyboard.
Would I be able to buy a Raphael with WM6 and an English ROM and then install the old Resco Keyboard Software on there to get my Cyricllic ?
I could buy the device in Russia, means I get even a double character set on the keyboard. Perfect would be if I could use the keyboard for both languages in my mails.
What I do not want is the OS to be in Russian, that's why the usual firmware is not an option. I understood from the HTC hotline that changing the OS language normally is not possible, as it was impossible with my Universal.
Anybody have experience with WM5 software from Resco on this WM6 device ?

i have tytn II- Kaiser and i installed it and all i get is mirror hebrew.
can you advise how can i solve it ?
is it something that i need to redefine at the menus ?

A friend of mine is living in Korea will bring me his new T-Omnia next week. The ROM that comes with it is in Korean and he has some trouble navigating though it as everything is in Korean. I tried to find a WWE ROM for the T*Omnia but got nothing.
Question: is there an easy way to translate the menus and dialogs to English.
It won't be that easy. The T*Omnia is sold only in Korea, so no WWE ROM's exist for it. There are software solutions that can translate the menus in russian or bulgarian but I don't think something similar exists for english as it is the default language if WinMobile If course you can try to hack some other translation of WinMobile (bulgarian for example) and apply it to the T*Omnia but there are still 2 issues:
1. No guarantee that such a solution will work with korean ROM. It's intendet to localize WWE ROM's. On the other hand a friend of mine localized a NL Diamond ROM successfully, so it may be worth a shot
2. The T*Omnia has a (still) non-standart resolution. Just look at the HD compatibility list for problematic apps So this is also a possible issue.
Anyway. Here is the link to such a localization program. It supports a number of languages, so it may be of some help to you.

you could always cook us an english rom- i would love a T*Omnia running english!!!
none of the software in the link seem to have the ability to localize to english
i guess having the ability to simply have the main menus in english is "good enough" untill Samsung releases a WWE version of the rom. if someone can help with that, that would be great.

But can anybody tell me what WWE does stand for?
I already tried the search option and couldn't find an adequate solution for my question.
I own an HTC Raphael (German, O2) and wanted to download some ROM in German. But there are many versions with the prefix WWE on the board and I ask myself if there are WWE-versions that also includie a German version.

Hi. I brought Qtek 9100, but the problem is that it is in German. I can't change the language (it's not possible by its settings). I installed new ROM (WWE - i don't know what does it mean, but friend of mine said it) in Eglish, then after restarting i srats extrakting something by itself. The pocket is O2 (it has a brand). So, my question is:
How could I change once for all the language from German to English?
Help me, please!

Someone told me that wm6.5 would be "heavy" for Qtek 9100. Is that right?
By the way, I couldn't find wm6.1, only wm6.5. Can I have a little help with locating wm6.1?
Well, that will depend on how much RAM you have, but see my example: I´m running 6.5 ROM on my Universal 64Mb of RAM and all goes good!, of course slightly slower than 6.1 but it´s worth to have the new one!
