As a sneak peak and to show what future ideas I have on the roadmap, see screenshots below:

I installed the spare parts plus and found this app too. I have changed my vm heap to 64m for testing purposes and so far its a great app. Not much info inside the app as far as explaining vm heap growth etc but as long as you know what you are doing this is an excellent tool
I would like to add that a reboot option after changing vm heap or at least notifying that the susystem should be rebooted to stick settings wouldn't hurt. Very nice app

What's the hex editor do? Is it like GameCIH or something?
As for everything else, I'm a bit phobic of bad things happening to my phone, so I won't PERSONALLY utilize it, but great app, dude.

Thanks. Good suggestion on the notification. I will add this for the next release.
Regarding documentation, check the website, it has some documentation on the settings.

Re: hexeditor, this is to change some specific files, but I haven't implemented this yet.
I also released a clockworkmod zip recovery file. if you have a working CW recovery and mess up your settings, you can install the zip from CWR and undo the mess you make

I added the notification.
I also added a reboot option in the menu. This includes a quick reboot of only the UI sub-system so that you get a 'fast reboot'.

Wow...now that's service! Thanks!

if you have CWR installed, then it should be safe, as you should be able to undo whatever mess you make using CWR and the recovery zip file.

And if we use Amon_RA recovery?

Oh great. so I just wanted to try disabling boot animation and apparently your app writes all the values into the /data/local.prop - even these that are unchanged.
Well, my problem was that the read out LCD density values were wrong and so my phone thought after a reboot I had a 30x45 pixel screen -.-
Took me half an hour to delete that file so I could use my phone again. Change this, it takes only a few more minutes to program that only changed values are written in the file!
By the way, I'm using a HTC Magic with CM6.1, 2708er Kernel and 2.22.28.25 radio.
I hope that helps.

i will download this Blade app,looks & sounds like a very productive tool.
but im a little noob to the deeper android terms..what is a dalvik thing?
what does it do?
i love the reboot & other tweak features but i dont know whats the dalviks are.
hope u guys can give me any hint about it thanks.

Dalvik is the name of the virtual machine used in Android. Heap size has to do with the amount of memory reserved for apps in easy words I guess.
Nevertheless if you don't know what you are doing, you are not supposed to mess with those settings. The devs of your favorite ROM will set everything up to the best possible configuration I assume.

the app reads existing settings from the different prop files and also current settings and writes those. It shouldn't change anything unless it is not defined. Can you send me a copy of your .prop files so i can review? And or send me a screenshot of what the settings are on read? Thanks.
Also you can use the zip file to reset from cwm if settings are messed up.

Didn't even touch the LCD Density settings, but it made my screen really, really big after reboot (I only enabled Stagefright and longened WiFi search).
Got everything back with Clockwork recovery reset file, but...... wtf?

[MOD] Disable ALL lockscreens for HTC Sense ROMs

Do you find the screen on/off button at the top of your EVO adequate for locking/unlocking your phone and don't want to be bothered with the additional steps for unlocking the screen after pressing the on/off button? If you answered yes, this mod is for you.
Disclaimer: Attention all "Billy Buzzkills", yes, I know there are third party apps that can do this. I don't want to install them to do so. I wanted to accomplish this at the framework level. Yes, I know you can toggle this on/off via the CM ROM widget. I don't currently use that ROM, and further more, this mod is "persistent", i.e. it survives a reboot, and can be turned on/off manually via a mechanism I've built-in to the mod, which is explained below, all w/o installing any third party app or widget.
This mod is accomplished via edits to the 'services.jar' framework file, so if you are already running various mods that you've manually applied to your services.jar file, this will undo them, and you will have to re-do them after applying this mod in the same manner previously.
When you flash the mod zip provided below, it will remove your HtcLockScreen.apk, if currently present, replace your current services.jar file, and, most importantly, place a "dummy" file named 'nolock.txt' in your '/system/customize' folder.
Upon bootup, when/if the '/system/customize/nolock.txt' file is present, your Vanilla Lockscreen will be disabled, meaning as soon you press the power button on your EVO, you will be taken directly to your homescreen.
This mod is based on the most current 'services.jar' file as distributed via the Sprint OTA update 3.30.651.2, and also has the 'translucency' mod built-in for the notifications window (thanks to xeudoxus & fxn).
Disable All Lockscreens for HTC Sense ROMs <--- Flash via recovery
As with replacing any framework file on your phone, your dalvik cache will get rebuilt on the initial boot, causing an extended reboot time. Don't panic, your phone will come up, eventually. While waiting, grab a coffee, get re-acquainted with your wife, say hello to your neighbor, solve world hunger, etc, etc.
Want your Vanilla Lockscreen back, or want to toggle this feature on/off in a persistent manner? Via ADB, simply shell in to your phone and rename the 'nolock.txt' file:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
cd /system/customize
mv nolock.txt nolock.txt.bak
reboot
When your phone comes back up, your Vanilla Lockscreen will return. You can accomplish the same steps above via 'root explorer' by simply navigating to the referenced folder and renaming the file.
Want to disable again?
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
cd /system/customize
mv nolock.txt.bak nolock.txt
reboot
If you deleted the file, rather than renaming it, just re-create the dummy file using:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
cd /system/customize/
touch nolock.txt
reboot
And when the phone comes back up, the lockscreen will be disabled once again.
Not comfortable with the manual approach? I've included 2 flashable zip files below that, after applying this mod, you can simply boot into recovery and flash to enable/disable the Vanilla Lockscreen as desired.
Flash to turn off lockscreen <--- Flash via recovery
Flash to turn on lockscreen <--- Flash via recovery
Note: Unfortunately, this does NOT work in conjunction with the keypattern unlock. When / if you are using the keypattern, it forces the lockscreen first, followed by the keypattern entry, so if you want keypattern ONLY, w/o the lockscreen, this will not accomplish this goal, though I will look into it. I just wanted to get this out there as version 1.0.
After flashing this, can you then just use the pattern lock screen and bypass the htc slide down and vanilla lock screens or will the pattern lock be disabled too?

The way the keypattern works, it forces the Vanilla screen back on. This wasn't my primary goal when doing the mod, so, no currently, it won't work that way, but as mentioned, it's something I'll look into to see if there is a way...
Just an update. Had a chance to look closer at the keypattern files, and I have a few ideas that "may" enable keypattern ONLY. Stay tuned...
what about roms with white taskbar?, the clock is white...can you make a version of services.jar with black font for the clock in the taskbar?...pattern would be sweet too

My main goal is the put this base mod out there. People can certainly take it, as mentioned, and modify to tweak for their other configurations as desired, given that those types of things are small edits in comparison.
Having said that, I see this as a common request, and as such, below is a link to the same mod with the clock font modded to black from white, for those running a white taskbar.
Disable All Lockscreens for HTC Sense ROMs - Black Clock <--- Flash via Recovery
Thanks so much..now we dont need a stupid app running a process all the time. Sweet mod
good stuff u giving us... and u never stop.
thank you.
two quick question/requests... that i think was asked before... but im not sure if u had a chance to check it out.
i know that u made the rotary vanilla lock screen work on 2.1 roms before... maybe a mode for the new 2.2 would be nice.
and the biggest one... losing the htc slide-to-answer and getting the vanilla lockscreen would be freaking sweet also.
sorry for throwing requests at u man... but it seems like u have the best understanding of how to do things with the smali code.
Works great! I love not having to unlock two or three things to switch the pandoria song wile im driving

It would be mentioned if that were the case, but since it's not, it wasn't. My phone sleeps just fine. This mod uses standard android libraries for simply disabling the keyguard.
Here's a screen capture a few hours after a reboot, where I answered a few emails, then turned the screen off while using this mod. 12 mins of wake time after 1 hour, 16 mins of uptime w/o being plugged in:

I am VERY interested in keypattern only unlock, so ill be checking here often in the hopes that you figure it out. Just want to let you know that some of use are definitely interested in it.
I am definitly interested in this option as well to only have key pattern only unlock as well
Great work!!!
Once (if you plan to) you make to where I don't have to slide and all I do is enter my password, ill flash. But this is exactly what my buddy has wanted.

Unfortunately, this is one in the same as pulling off the pattern unlock only, which is kicking my butt right now. These are on my "to look at" list, but, in all honesty, a little lower than some higher priority stuff (notifications power widget / rotary lock / phone slide to answer, etc).
Good work with this.

hey john,
can you share what changes need to be made to services.jar? im trying to do Windows 7 look and need to remove both lockscreens to use widgetlocket instead.
but as you know i've modified things quite a bit and can't flash over everything else. i'll make the necessary .smali edits if you tell me what file to edit

This mod is a little (actually a lot) more intensive that commenting out a few lines of code, etc, and it's not practical, IMHO, to try and post up (nor do I have the time), instructions on something like this.
It'd be easier, quite frankly, if you want, to just PM be your jar file and I'll take the time to work through / integrate for you (note, Max makes an effort and thus why I'm willing to do so for him).
well i currently have removed HtcLockScreen.apk and have WidgetPro set to disable the lockscreen. this works well in combination with WidgetLocker...
is it going to be much better with this modification? i dont want to trouble you with extra work. i'd rather have you developing new things

[ROM][2.3.7] LiGux (Coopoui) (R2.0 - 01/10/2012)

Details:
This rom is basically a highly themed CM7.2. I give all credit to the developers of LiGux, Coopoui, CM, and the Heroc. It includes the expanded LiGux settings which allows a lot of customization. I'll expand on customization/options in the second post. It features "pop-up" notification power tweaks from the top right of the status bar.
Modifications:
Updated kernel to 2.6.35.14 (thanks to jaybob413 for his kernel work)
Removed Chinese from many, many various locations
Edited build.prop to remove unnecessary info and align it with current CM build.prop
Removed battery and memory tweaks from boot.img
Removed a few init tweaks
Modified updater-script to align with up-to-date CM standards
Changed available cpu freqs to standards in boot.img and framework
Edited eri.xml in framework-res to add Sprint
Replaced PinyinIME with LatinIME (keyboard)
Edited MMS settings in framework to remove Chinese carriers and align with CM settings
Edited apn settings in framework to align with CM
Fixed a few mis-translated words and a couple missing translations
Fixed text sizes in apps that were lost in translation
Fixed messaging menu force close with Kirin update
Updated included gapps
Updated Coopoui and LiGux to latest available versions (3.2)
Updated system files to latest from CM
Removed Chinese 'market crack' options (plan on removing this completely from settings)
Added 'missing' apks and removed Chinese apks
Fixed a few mistakes and a whole lotta little things.
Working:
Everything, as far as I know.
Issues:
No known issues.
Please let me know if you find something broken and I'll fix it.
Download:
LiGux (Coopoui) v3.2 R1 010712 Changelog: Original release

Changelog:
SystemUI, framework, settings are all updated now.
SystemUI and settings are all compatible... no more settings force close
Completely new UI
Includes LiGux boot animation (I can provide the old one if you'd like it)
Edited LatinIME to match the gray-ish theme
Fixed Chinese "new" message icon
Removed some more Chinese
Changed some text to fit better
LiGux lockscreen (make sure you click it to allow it)
All credit goes to the Heroc developers who got the Hero to where it is today.
Thanks to Jurellz for originally bringing my attention to this rom.
All thanks goes to fat-tire for the fire he lit
Customization/Settings Info
There's many available settings to customize this rom.
Under "common" settings, make sure to go under "keyevent settings" > "End button behavior" and select "Go to sleep." These settings are what you would normally find in Spare Parts.
Lock Screen:
To activate the Coopoui Ring lockscreen, click the "OneKeyLock" app in the app drawer to allow permissions. Under "CM Settings" > "Lockscreen" > "Style Options" you can pick the style for the lockscreen and phone calls.
Status Bar:
Click the clock to bring up the "notification power widgets." These can be changed just like CM in "CM Settings" > "Notification Power Widget" > "Widget Buttons."
Pull down on the left side of the status bar for notifications!
Under "personal" > "system ui" you can enable weather on the lockscreen. This works! If the weather doesn't show, go into the "News and Weather App" and make sure it has your location and the current weather shown.
You can also center the clock under the "statusbar ui" settings.
Change apps in homescreen tray:
The first setting I looked to change was the apps in the tray on the homescreen.
Press Menu at the homescreen and go to "DeskSettings"
Select "dock settings"
From there, click each of the four DockButton settings to select the apps for the 4 slots in the tray.
Status Bar Transparency:
Under the "personal" tab on settings, you can enable transparency in the statusbar. Under "statusbar ui," click "statusbar background" > "color fill" and slide alpha all the way down.
App Transparency:
Under the "personal" tab on settings, you can enable transparency in app windows. Under "system ui," click "set window background" > "color fill" and slide alpha down. I recommend not sliding it all the way down so your apps at least have a dimmed background.
Here's a screenshot with some extreme settings:
There's many other settings to play with!
Boot Animation:
Here's the original boot animation... Flash this zip in recovery.

Been playing with this for the past few hours. Nice. It runs quick and smooth. Really like the launcher and loads of custom settings. So far everything has been working very well.
what nightly is this running off of? the actual 7.2 release? or the last nightly build before the buildbot broke? (or the best option, tip, cause someone grabs it nightly and does the build?)
I really liked the rom, few things i noticed though. Battery went down pretty quickly which was unusual. Long hold on the back button keeps killin app (tried disabling it but doesnt work) Its a cool feature but i kept closing apps by accident =( Messaging shows that chinese icon thing when u recieve a mssg (not a big deal though) Uh maybe for the toggle notification i'd prefer a different color to see which one is enabled, anyway i can manually change it? Other than those small issues, the ROM is really awesome! I appreciate ur work. Was nice and new =)

They are a different color. You'd have to decompile and recompile systemui.apk and change each icon. I can do it, but I'd like to fix these other issues first.

Are you using RA recovery?
How are you wiping before you flash? If you're flashing over a current gingerbread build, uninstall gmail, then wipe cache and dalvik in recovery before flashing... but I think the problem may be that you're using RA recovery (based on what I've read online).

Thanks for a snappy new rom! I've tried to let market auto update, but it doesn't it. I looked in system and I see the auto updater apk, but it doesn't auto update. Not a deal killer for me, just an fyi..... I also went into app management and wiped data and it still doesn't update to the latest Market.

This is all great news!!! I'm glad I don't have to dig into the market updater.
Very glad MMS is working, too!!!!!!!! I know that's something that has plagued the other Chinese roms.
I used Google translate and figured out it says "new." Ill fix that and a few other issues I've found.

Collection of build.prop Tweaks

Hi all, I thought I'd share my collection of build.prop tweaks. There is already a thread about this but it is rather limited and the OP has received a new phone, so I don't think there's a chance of it getting updated. Many of these tweaks are already included in lfaber06's excellent Supercharged Atrix ROM, but there are some other ones that I've found to work well so here they all are!
Higher Dalvik VM heapsize
Code:
dalvik.vm.heapsize=64m
default is 42m.
Fool Android Market into thinking the A2 is a Nexus S to allow you to download more apps
Code:
ro.build.product=Nexus S
ro.product.model=Nexus S
ro.product.brand=Google
ro.product.name=sodu
SIDE EFFECTS:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
NOTE- the latest update to the Market makes it a little harder to fool the Market. Prior to performing this edit, clear Market's data (Settings –> Applications –> Manage Applications –> Play Store –> Clear Data).
Higher events/second for the window manager (smoother scrolling)
Code:
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150
default is 70.
Increase time between scanning for wifi networks
Code:
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=180
default is 120.
Render user interface with the GPU
Code:
debug.sf.hw=1
Video acceleration enabled
Code:
video.accelerate.hw=1
Overall performance/responsiveness increase
Code:
debug.performance.tuning=1
Disable sending usage data (probably isn't functional, but can't hurt)
Code:
ro.config.nocheckin=1
Camera/camcorder enhancements, improve jpeg quality
Code:
ro.media.dec.jpeg.memcap=8000000
ro.media.enc.hprof.vid.bps=8000000
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
Deeper sleep/better battery life
Code:
ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=1
pm.sleep_mode=1
Phone starts to ring out immediately
Code:
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=0
Disable error checking
Code:
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0
Wireless speed increases
Code:
net.tcp.buffersize.default=4096,87380,256960,4096,16384,256960
net.tcp.buffersize.wifi=4096,87380,256960,4096,16384,256960
net.tcp.buffersize.umts=4096,87380,256960,4096,16384,256960
net.tcp.buffersize.gprs=4096,87380,256960,4096,16384,256960
net.tcp.buffersize.edge=4096,87380,256960,4096,16384,256960
Better video streaming
Code:
media.stagefright.enable-meta=true
media.stagefright.enable-scan=true
media.stagefright.enable-http=true
media.stagefright.enable-record=false
To install, mount /system as read/write and then use a root browser to edit /system/build.prop like you would a text file (Do NOT use ES File Manager- it can and will mess up your permissions and get you in a bootloop!). Add the above code to the end of the file, or if the code already exists with different values just replace the default value. Alternately, you can adb push/pull and edit it with a text editor with UNIX LINE ENDINGS (such as Notepad++).
Enjoy!
Thanks: JRW 28 for his build.prop in his original reboot in power menu mod, lfaber06 for further editing the build.prop in SCV5.2.
Edit at your own risk! I am not responsible for any damage/data loss sustained to your device due to attempting to edit you build.prop!

Long story short, it will improve overall performance/snappiness. However I've found that sometimes if it's too high you'll actually get a decrease in performance, so just make sure you don't go too high.
I really appreciate the work you are doing, but a nagging thought lingers in my head: if it's so easy to change a few lines and improve the phone's performance, why doesn't Google/Motorola do it by default?
Ok great thanks for the reply Im backing up now and going to do the flash
And one last question does the improve jpeg quality tweak affect the jpeg pictures that are on caller ID?

Unfortunately not. The problem with low-res contact pictures is how Google backs up your contacts. Google resizes their pictures to 96x96 so they won't take up as much space but when you sync your contacts their resolution is reduced and their picture on caller ID looks bad.
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150 didn't work?
@cogeary - Just curious, for the lines that aren't listed in the build.prop, where did you find these "extra" settings? I've been searching to find all the possible build.prop entries.
BTW, thanks for your hard work on this and other projects.

Could you be a little more specific please? Even if you put an invalid entry in build.prop you won't get a bootloop. The only thing that might have messed it up is if you used a root browser such as ES File Explorer... it's been known to mess up permissions.

Most of the other lines I found by a fairly simple google search . I just wanted to make this thread to unify all the tweaks that I've successfully used on the A2.

Understood about limiting this thread to just what you've used. For the others, I guess what I'm struggling with is how do we google for something we don't know exits.
Anyway, thanks for the quick response. I'll quit pestering you.
Cheers

i agree ive been using xda for a long time but im new to the atrix 2 but i still mess with my build prop as im pretty good with an android but to a noob i can see it being difficult if you dont know something, and the atrix 2 forum is pretty dead as of now when it comes to new stuff. just saying, i still come here everyday though.

That is why he made the thread. There a ton of other threads like it in other sections. I know that the Atrix 2 forum is dead, but it will not come alive if all users are waiting for stuff to be posted. There is a wealth of knowledge in this forum and on XDA in general, noobs should do a lot of reading and try to become a contributor in the forum, it will not grow without contributions from users.

If 150 didn't work for you try lower settings (ie, 120, 130, ect) if they still don't make scrolling smoother, then something else is keep it from being smooth. What launcher do you use?
Ok, i asked this question in the other build prop thread and did not get a response so i will try again. Is their anything we can add to the build prop to make the on screen colors brighter? Such as the icons, pics, etc. The colors for the A2 are not as bright as they for the original atrix. I know that Motorola made the phone like this on purpose but i was just wondering if their is a build prop fix for it?

No, that is a physical difference (Pentile matrix vs no Pentile matrix). In the Atrix 2 general section there is a recent thread on screen brightness, someone post some info on an app to adjust screen brightness.

I present to you my AOSP Honeycomb theme (**FROST**BITE**V1.0) for p6200 and p6200L (let me know if it work on any other)
I have had the day off college so i decided it was time to get to grips with my tab as we don't always see eye to eye. haha. iv modded what ever i could find in framework & system Ul. although it looks cool now just give me some time to work on this baby
what is themed?
well....
.system ul
.notification box with transparent backing
.power control themed gray
.lock screen
.clock
.settings icon (will theme setting ASAP in black)
.messaging icon (will theme message .apk ASAP)
.notification bar is now stock black with stock 3.0 soft keys in gray/white
.battery is themed but needs work sizing etc (I may add a circle mod hmmm..)
.signal bar ripped from XOOM stock 3.1 honeycomb ROM
.launcher is themed with stock honeycomb app key but still TW (i will add the option of a stock AOSP launcher.zip but you can not add widgets
to be continued.......
what is stock?......
well....
.camera is stock AOSP with stock icon.
.browsed is stock AOSP
.gallery is stock AOSP
.music is the latest AOSP version (sooo cool)
.clock widget is stock AOSP.
extras...
you will also get in the .zip....
asus weather widget
XOOM clock widget
movie studio XOOM
Toshiba media player
and a selection of stock honeycomb wallpapers
installation.
0.nandroid then check if you have a nandroid back up then check agen haha...
1. clear data on the following before install....Browser/ clock/ launcher (it just helps prevent issues and damn force closes)
2. make sure you are deodexed and rooted
3.place **FROST**BITE**V1.1.zip on to your external SD card navigate to choose zip for SD and flash....BANG!!!....your in **FROST**BITE**V1.0
thanks me or buy me a beer
Download here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8623715/FROST_BITE_V1.1 beta.zip
the setting will come in a update.zip also with the soft keys you see now
updates:
v1.1 beta:....uploading now
whats changed?...A) soft keys are more stock with matching screen capture and a very nice purple battery mod. you will also get AOSP stock setting with TW feel.
AOSP wallpapers are attached at the bottom to install but a faulty install in the .zip may mean you need to go to root explorer and uninstall the other one if it does not work let me know.
Disclaimer: i am not responsible if you brick your device under Google's open sauce licence. i will help you if you do something wrong but its not my fault.
if you do decide to blame me i will simply giggle at your expense haha then suggest ways for you to use your tab...drinks tray, diner mat, roofing slate...haha
Went a head and flashed your ROM on the T869 device (running deodexed rom). Screen cap below. It was charging at time of screen cap. I changed wallpaper immediately because the one the theme was very odd and very "zoomed in" looking.
I know this was not meant for this device...but its fun to try right?
Few things that don't look right.
-Lock screen orbit is a small square...that's it. You can still unlock though.
-Battery icon when device is not charging is off. It turns it into a gray spiral type icon.
-Get 3g icon instead of 4g (obvious reason why)
Again, not a problem report...just letting those know who want to play with the t869 device. I'm finding these themes are almost do-able on the T869.

thanks mate for you reply as you sed this is not for your device you were lucky not to soft brick it it only looks funny on your device as the framework files are quite different from the ones on your device so you have most probably entered a different file when it flashed hence the freaky wallpaper p.s. my new update it being uploaded in second so feel free to give it a go my friend its so much better that the older version and the battery looks cool to made it myself
i am planning on making some battery mod.zips with a big selection and next week after making this theme black i will defo start a new

p.s. thanks so much for the donations guys very much appreciated glad you all like my work
i will be working on a new theme this week but i need ideas from you all
In regards to me flashing this on T869 Device (which it was not made for)
I knew it wouldn't soft brick...been playing with the current themes offered and have flashed before. Most of the framework and system are similar enough it will boot every time...just may not look right on some things. Ive owned and flashed many android devices...so very comfortable with it.
Im in no way a dev...very wet behind the ears when it comes to theming. But the T869 device needs some love so im trying my best to learn how I can do just that...give it some love.
I greatly appreciate your work.

what tools are you using to theme at this moment?

the best software to theme is something as simple as 7-zip for opening apks and PAINT.NET for coloring and re-sizing or Photoshop for high quality themeing

I'm very fluent in Photoshop, so I will be using that for "theming". Very familiar with 7zip.

its very easy all you have to do is set up the kitchen you require and select the option fill in the information you want to show in the recovery log add change log and fill with apks etc... haha but you do have to write the paths out e.g. if you want something going in to system, app make a system folder and put app folder in to that one then place your required file in to it and it will pop it in their when flashed. A very easy cheats way is to copy someones META-INF file and place it in to a .zip then fill in your paths described above easy!....when you get going

AT&T owner here.
TWRP installed flawlessly. CleanROM 1.0 installed flawlessly and booted up just fine.
OP was not kidding, Factory Reset took about 5 minutes. Just be patient.
I'm happy to report TWRP did not nuke out my pictures on Factory Reset, like my Factory Reset via LG settings menu did the other night (sadpanda).
I really, really, really wish AT&T Ready2Go or whatever the hell that is was replaced with the Stock setup that triggers a proper App Backup/Restore process, but no big deal.
FYI, if you want street names back in Google Maps, change your Text-to-Speech to Pico TTS from LG TTS. Unfortunately, Pico TTS is not natural sounding, and there doesn't appear to be a way to sideload Google Text-to-Speech yet. I attempted ganking Maps/VoiceSearch from /system and installing them manually to get the Google Services directly, but it didn't help.
Thanks Scrosler! Runnin' just fine.
Looks like I lost the ability to change my lock screen wallpaper with Clean ROM, anyone else experiencing this?
I tried a clean re-install and got the same result, so I'm pretty sure maybe something might've been debloated that it hinged on...

There is actually a file that you can freeze that would cause this issue. I dont recall the specific name of it but its something like lockscreen settings. I had to edit the file to change out the wallpaper. But I cant recall the name.

Good to hear guys!
So far so good. No issues, yet. I'll keep playing. Since basically stock I don't think much can happen.

Looks like I lost the ability to change my lock screen wallpaper with Clean ROM, anyone else experiencing this?
I tried a clean re-install and got the same result, so I'm pretty sure maybe something might've been debloated that it hinged on...

I have this problem. I can switch to different stock wallpapers on my home screen, but I'm locked to a blue wallpaper for my lock screen. I'm kinda sad because I like using the stock papers for my lock screen.

I heard its running slow... Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.
I have another server I can mirror on, AndroidFile Host, but its not as user friendly so I dont care to use it.
If they would give me shell acess to use wget I would do it. But alas...
Here we are with what we have...
No worries. Understood. I've downloaded enough files from goo to know it's "potential". It will eventually get the job done. Just happy for clean rom.
