[Q] Skype over radio (MT4G)?

Hi,
Came across a piece in mydigitallife.info from /2010/10/09/on how-to-enable-skype-for-android-voice-call-over-3g/ (sorry, as new user can't post direct link)
Downloaded and installed, disable Wi-Fi, tried calling - says "call ended".
When I try to place another call, it says "already on 2 calls, need to terminate one".
Did I miss anything (settings somewhere out of the app)?
Is there another solution?
Or perhaps a totally different app - my goal is to be able to do video calls with ppl on PC (i.e. my parents).
I use Tango for phone to phone free calls (and video), but no PC client for it.
Thanks,

[Q] Route calls through second Android via internet

Here's the endpoint - I want to have an internet connected device in my hand that can make and receive calls and send and receive texts, regardless of whether I have mobile coverage. As long as it's on the internet, I want to be able to use it as a regular phone.
I'm halfway there.
I have an Android phone with my primary number, plugged in and connected to WiFi in my flat, a good mobile signal area. I can install MySMS on it to handle texts, then the tablet app on the device I keep with me. That's SMS sorted.
What I need is some way of making a voice call over the internet to that handset, and routing that out via my cellular provider. And automatically routing incoming calls over the internet to the portable one, or if I'm making a cellular call, have the caller ID display the number of the phone in the flat.
Basically, I think I want to turn an Android phone into a Google Voice server, just for my use.
Can this be done?
Thanks
looking for the same. have you found something ?
I never did

[Q] tablet talk like app for windows phone.

I have a windows phone, a goolge voice account, and a nexus seven installed in my car. I want to find an app that will let me send and recieve calls and texts through my carrier, or via wifi through goolge voice with the phone's hotspot that will work with android. I was originally going to use tablet talk, but i cannot find it for windows and if i remember correctly, it has to have a host and server install. I would really like to just be able to send and recieve texts on the tablet in the car over my tmobile number. Any help is appriciated. thanx. I have a nexus 7 2013, and a nokia lumina phone.

[Q] Android app that lets me remotely control the android

So i basicly need this for my mother.. She really does not understand how to use an android, and for some reason she keeps setting her devices ringer volume to silent, which means she does not hear when i try to call her. Not only that but she screws so many things up on this phone, like removing shortcuts from the launcher and so fourth, that i need to come to her twice a week just to fix things. It would be nice if there were some tool that lets me control her phone from my pc, or maybe my android device. Like teamviewer but for Androids.
Can you guys assist ?

What about using Teamviewer?
and for the ringer on silent mode I know how to do it easily, use Tasker.
Create a profile "When phone receive SMS from X contact with Y message ---> Task: Set ringer volume to 10."
or even simpler:
"when phone receive call from X contact --> Task: set ringer volume to 10"
I'm using this on my phone and its work great. I work on a night shift and my phone is in silent mode but my GF can text me a private code to activate my ringer if there is an emergency and need to call me.
Same can be done to activate teamviewer client:
Create a profile "When phone receive SMS from X contact with Y message ---> Task: set wifi and/or mobile data to ON and launch team viewer client"
You'll oubvisouly need to set a permanent ID and password for the client so you can automate the process.
Then you'll be able to send a sms to that phone to activate its wifi and team viewer client, you enter the password on your side and can access the device remotely.

Tasker would be a solution for many of the things. But i would like a more "total control" solution of that is possible. Team Viewer for Android does (as far as i know) not allow me to control an Android device but allows my Android device to control computers (not the other way around)

No, you can control your android device on your computer.
Download TeamViewer 10 on your computer and TeamViewer QuickSupport on your Android + the QuickSupport module for your phone brand.
Then you can use tasker to remotely launch TeamViewer QuickSupport on the phone and you can then connect your computer to the phone and take control. But someone will have to click "I agree" button twice on the android to be able to control it.

Phone Calls Through PC - Request

Hi everyone
I want an app that can take phone calls made with my mobile phone, and be able to stream the call to my Windows PC. It may sound strange, but simply, I need an app that allows you to make your phone calls through your PC without needing to access external services (obviously i have a cellular network provider, I don't need an account to one of the "online call services"). I can't seem to find any. do you know of any?
