[Q] Ideas for my new rom

Hey everyone with the help of Revolution Im creating a new ROM for the sk4g though its going to be a htc sense themed rom with several tweaks though neither do I or revolution can come up with a name for this ROM. Anybody have ideas for a SK4G sense theme ROM? thanks!

you should name it:
extrasenseory
or
High Tech Core
or
Super Sesne
enough of the corny names
this rom will it ave a thirdparty sense launcher or framework will be sense?

it will include a sense theme and launcher pro with a sense dock that can be applied

Yes, the blue dialer and all of the skinned parts of coredroid rom are includeds in the full theme.

Thanks. Just want to make sure it's not me screwing it up.
Any one any idea for the fix?

the problem is that he`s taking certain apks from coredroid rom wich work with other apks that he didn`t take. The tweaks are control by the rosie apk,system ui apk,and settings apk my guest is that there is a apk missing some where wich tweaks call on

Only the button tweaks must be removed..
If you using the no core version

I will add an extra zip this morning, with the normal settings without tweaks for the non coredroid users.

If you have the Coredroid rom installed in your phone don’t need install the full theme, because the full theme has apks skinneds in blue that only are includeds in the Coredroid rom, if you have other rom with all stuff in green, you need to apply the full theme.

My absolute favorite ROM for the MyTouch 4G is Virtuous Unity 2.39.0. It's great on the battery, I found a working Genius Button Fix and Beats Audio

I agree - the first step you should do is to decide whether you'd like to use Sense-based ROM or not, as there's a great difference between those. For Sense you may check Virtuous Unity, for AOSP - Cyanogenmod 7.1. Only after that you may go deeper for more customized versions of either Sense or not builds.

I wonder if there's any noticeable differences between Virtuous Unity and Affinity. I know - the first is Sense 3.0, the second - Sense 3.5. But isn't the 3.5 just an optimized version of 3.0, and why do many people prefer 3.0 over 3.5? Most reviews I read didn't make it clear to me.

There awesome! all the ones that I've tried are fast and have great battery life and is a nice change from the regular android experience

I would agree that Android Revolution 7.0.2 rocks! It's VERY stable. Some people will call me crazy, but I am new to flashing roms & I don't really like the cyanogen 7 Rom. It's ok, but not for me....

Crt animation ?

I wonder why crt animations work on some roms and not in others ? Is it possible to port them on all ics roms ?
Really loving it but i think dev's doesn't wanna work on it or idk just asking..

I've seen CRT animations on sense roms before when ported by a Dev. Mainly pure aosp roms though. CRT animation was first introduced in gingerbread. Most of the aokp roms (ics) have the ability to turn on the animation inside rom control. If your rom doesn't have rom control you can push it to system/app or ask in the thread of your rom. People are willing to help just ask about it in the actual rom thread.

The rom control thingy can be pushed to system/app ?! :O that was the only reason i used aokp for a while but wasn't reading my battery correctly so i came back to virtuous ok ill ask there and lets see how it goes thanks !

Crt animations are on aosp roms because when they are ported there, it doesn't break stuff.
As for rom control, you can just put the app in /system/app as nothing else in the rom supports it.
On sense ics roms, crt animations breaks visual stuff, so that's why most of the roms don't and won't have it.

i think he means changing lockscreen wallpaper....which is a good question, coz when i was on ARHD i wasn't able to change that....

Yeah i mean that one! and it's a bug by htc but maybe some awesome dev can fix it. I will call HTC tomorrow.

Was fixed in latest Tmobile update. So those roms that are using the latest TMobile update to build their roms, out should be fixed on those roms.
