There are some extremely intelligent people on these forums and always bring us amateurs great surprises. From some of the amazing work that I've seen done here someone has to have the ability to do this.
I've had the pleasure of trying out the Desire Z rom ported to the droid incredible recently and was amazed at how much better the camera was on this rom than stock dinc or evo. My question and request is for someone to be able to port that camera to the evo or dinc.
It's comical how great hardware that the dinc has can support such awful software. It would be a wonderful christmas present to see the desire hd camera on my dinc. Someone has to know or have the ability to do it. Yes I know it's completely different frameworks, but if that rom can get ported over to the dinc then why can't the camera be also?
Any relevant information would be very educating. This has to be possible!

Its nothing special, but i was at work today trying to play angry birds while working and it wasnt going to well, so i went to a co-worker who runs the laser machines and asked if she could make a stand, she did, and it holds the phone both horizontal and vertical. Just check out the pics(sorry for the bad pics):

PS: we have not figured out a good solution to keep it from sliding, the feet you see in the pic was my doing and she advises against it due to the fact that they will fall off
forgot to mention that its made of two parts that slide together so you can transport them easily

I have seen numerous DIYers post on how easy it is to cut one of these yourself - you can see the design is not too hard to copy.
That being said, I love having this tucked in my wallet behind my credit cards (it's slightly thinner than one, and the same size). As a proud father of two, this item allows me to save the day when the adults want to sit and chat over drinks at the restaurant for another 30 minutes, and the kids are bouncing off the walls. It's Miller Time for us, Movie Time for them.

So I have the opportunity right now to exchange my droid charge with my moms droid x. Now the droid x has miui and cm7 and alot more development and roms but im not sure if its worth leaving this phone. what are you guys's opinion? DX or DC?(just to make it clear, it the original droid x, not the droid x 2) thanks in advance!
I also just learned that they almost have a fully functional ics ..they're only missing mms, and speakerphone bbasically

It really depends on you. I am a flashaholic, but there are many things that I would give up for the Charge if given a Droid X.

Hands down the screen does it for me. No way I let go of the charge for that phone. Maybe for a nexus.

Well I have used it, but I mean, I haven't gotton a chance to flash a rom on it and see how it performs with ics or cm7 or miui. I think we can all admit that this is a good phone, but any other okay phone with aosp might perform better in daily use

Even with cm9 cm7 and miui? I mean, they are bboth 1000mhz...the only difference is lte on the charge(which I dont have in my area) ALOT more development on the dx, and the screens

Isn't the DX powered by Snapdragon? Hummingbird>
Snapdragon. Also, the gpu in the charge is better.

A smart choice, IMO.
I would load up either Infinity or Tweakstock.
Then I would flash ICS Fugu and run the V-6 and Scheduler Changer scripts.
I personally overclock, but to each their own.

Well Im playing around with my moms x and...with iics running, I feel as if it is much better then the charge on either of the roms. Its not like taking the x effects my upgrade....im reconsidering now...

Updated theme with a lot(in my eyes). More transparency, toned down some buttons, fixed a few text color issues, changed dialer, genie widget done,updated some icons..etc...original post updated with new screens.....thanks to everyone who has downloaded, please if you see issues please bring to my attention so i can try and squash it.....peace
edit: still working on music apk, and general cleaning up of images and colors.
