There are some extremely intelligent people on these forums and always bring us amateurs great surprises. From some of the amazing work that I've seen done here someone has to have the ability to do this.
I've had the pleasure of trying out the Desire Z rom ported to the droid incredible recently and was amazed at how much better the camera was on this rom than stock dinc or evo. My question and request is for someone to be able to port that camera to the evo or dinc.
It's comical how great hardware that the dinc has can support such awful software. It would be a wonderful christmas present to see the desire hd camera on my dinc. Someone has to know or have the ability to do it. Yes I know it's completely different frameworks, but if that rom can get ported over to the dinc then why can't the camera be also?
Any relevant information would be very educating. This has to be possible!

Interesting, but more or less like hammering a round peg into a square hole. I can't imagine the performance will be satisfactory even if they are able to get everything to work.
R.I.P thunderbolt the roms here suck the developers suck. Every body has the same old sense Rom and nothing is different. I'm entitled to my opinion and I'm sure some of u agree with me.

I love my TB and everything the devs have done for it. The das bamf rom has been fantastic and adrenalyns and imoseyons kernels have gotten me 35+ hours with moderate use and 2500+ quadrant scores. I couldn't ask for more. Easily the best phone out right now and the support has been excellent. Every rom and kernel update I've installed have increased my performance and experience. Are you sure you don't have an iphone?

Gtg and mikeymike have stated they are leaving for SGS2. Entropy bought a SGS2, but still has his infuse so far.

First thing you would need is to be able to code in c++ and Java. Also helps to have a Linux Based system.
Theres been a few requests like this in xda general before i believe... Some very helpful links were posted like guides on coding in android and a jumpstart into the languages needed. Google might do the trick.

Have you heard of "thenewboston," there's a butt load of tutorials on his YouTube channel teaching Java, C++ and all kinds of other programming languages. If you ask me that's our best bet, although it takes a lot of dedication.

Two weeks...
I think The first thing to do would be to port the camera app over to cm7. It seems like a small task that would have huge benefits. I would love cm7 with the battery drain issue fixed and the ics camera until cm9 drops.

Him and romanbb I think had the first roms. Undeadk9 is one of the few devs who are actually active though. As in here everyday helping and answering questions.

Ive got a lot going on right now. Im a one man army. Lone wolf with 4 projects. Lol. When I finish my project I will start merging code to see if I cant get us ics. Remember I work full time, wife, baby, and my schedule changed.
