Im trying to find the best stock Android 2.2 or 2.3 Rom, and I mean without sense. I have tried Ultimate Droid and its great but I'm wondering if there are any other options out there.

Does anyone have HTC Footprints app for the Inspire 4G? It's not included in the ROM I'm running and I would like to install it back on my phone.
Yes the leaked Sense gingerbread roms have it. I'm running one as we speak.

I know I saw this somewhere before, either here or another forum, but for the life of me I can't find the post.
Anyway, all the custom ROMs I've used list the phone as a Desire HD in About Phone and on the Android Market. Is there anyway to get this to show up as the Inspire 4g?
The DHD to inspire 4G patch in my thread does exactly that

Awesome thanks! Will this work with any ROM or just LeeDroid?
Doesn't it do more than just the label though? It would be cool to have something that works on each version (Froyo, Gingerbread) and only does the version. I'm running CM7, but it would be nice to ID correctly.
It will apply device id's, check-in strings, gps info and the correct build.prop and locale settings, as well as the stock audio files and settings from the latest stock inspire build
Should work in any Rom but your build will show as LeeDrOiD 2.2.2

Lee your the best and I see you always there for help. That's so kind of you. We all really appreciate that.

Has anyone flashed Lee's HD to Inspire patch on the AR3.1 Rom? I'm on the stock radio so it matches the radio that the patch calls for. Just want some verification from someone who has done it before I jump in.
I bought an Inspire yesterday and am totally new to Android. What I do know is that I would rather be without HTC Sense. Is there a ROM that's just pure Froyo (or Gingerbread)? Thanks.

Yes. For gingerbread take a look at CM7 in the dev section.

Thanks guys. Just briefly looking over CM7, it looks like it uses ADWLauncher. Any way I can just have the stock Gingerbread launcher?
You can download the Gingerbread launcher by Eugene373 from the Market or a gingerbread theme for ADW.
CM7 Inspire 4G

I hate Sense and use Android Revolution w/the No-Sense script

Honestly which ever one works best for you or the person using it.
im justing looking for hsupa with good signal and anyone have suggestions on what i should name my first rom thanks

Agreed. There is no one size fits all radio. For me, the stock radio is the best, for you it may be different.

I would make a no sense script for it since there are a few people that don't like sense.

If your phone is running a ROM (cm7, virtuous, etc) the netflix app available here should work.
It works on my inspire running virtuous unity....

Check out the thread from mustang302LX "netfix port" in inspire themes and apps. It works for some and doesnt for others. It depends on the rom your running and what patches/fixes you flash after installing the app. I can confirm it running great on Honeysense 7.2.1.

No patches needed for Virtuous Unity ROM. Just install the latest apk and it works without any issues.
