Sensation releases June 8th. How can I make sure I get one? Is there a way to preorder this on Tmobile's website? I don't understand how this works?

Just like the G2X was available in stores on the 20th of last month, the Sensation will be available in stores on the 8th. Pre-orders will start 3-4 days earlier and the info will be found on T-Mobile's website.

As I found out when the HTC Sensation was released on Vodafone (19th May), turning up at a store on the morning of the day of release is the best way to make sure you get one. I even beat everybody who'd pre-ordered one on the website (including myself, the store cancelled my online order and gave me a phone from the shop's stock)!

pretty much spot on here, i went a day after release to my local Vodafone shop and they still had a few left, and my pre order had still not arrived so i cancelled and got one from the shop

Does anybody know when the regular version of this phone (without any Vodafone involvement) is going to be released? The only specific date I was able to find was on Amazon UK - June 15th (http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Sensati...SJ78/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306684121&sr=8-1)
We all know their dates are often just guesses - should I hope for a June 15th release or am I possibly going to wait much longer?

Handtec and clove report 27th June. As they are main distributors and usually get the phone first, I would say 15th would be unlikely.

Handtec and clove. Check htcs website for their main distributors. Funny that amazon do not appear in that list! Amazon usually have stock a few day after the main HTC partners.

I checked with them today and they said the same (Falmouth store).
Was in Vodafoner earlier and was told 'oh we normally have 3 months exclusive sell ....' .....

Its pretty much the same in any tech based shop I've been in.
Photographic, Computing, Phones, a vast majority (chains especially) tend to go for the cheap spotty oik who knows nothing about their industry, let alone their stock.
I have noticed in the past that sellers in stores like Carphone Warehouse do not actually know the fact. CPW website says that the SIMFREE, unbranded Sensation will be available in July 2011. See the link:

Amazon has just changed the estimates for the release date from 15th of June to 29th of June

I have just acquired an HTC Sensation, bought from a friend who had an upgrade and didn't want it. I put an O2 sim it and it seems to work perfectly, image attached.

I got htc sensation (swisscom) branded and it is unlocked. I can see only swisscom logo but i can use every simcard. i want get to know when htc sending any updates in coming future, will my sensation receive with non-branded devices or I have to wait till swisscom send any updates? thanks

Damn you
This whole one month Vodafone-exclusivity deal is very annoying, I really can't believe this was a wise decision by HTC as the Galaxy S2 is a very strong contender that has been freely available from the first day.
I will, of course wait this final month - but still, I probably wouldn't have even considered (and ordered, then returned) the Galaxy S2 if the Sensation had been released in may.

Yesterday they told me that without a doubt I would be able to pick up my preorder on April 27th.
Now today I have called 2 stores and both claim that they have no idea when they will be able fulfill preorders.
On the website the White GS4 is still listed as april 27th... the black one no longer lists a date.
Also interesting .. the AT&T had said april 26th. It now lists both white and black as april 27th release.
Anyone have any concrete information from Best buy?

A friend of mine is the GM at a Best Buy Mobile here in San Angelo, TX, and they have no idea when they're getting these in. Usually their drop shipments come on Wednesday, but there were no S4 devices in that shipment today.

This guy is correct.... the preorder holds a phone for you.... But does not guarantee you one on the launch date. Depends on when they get them, how many they get and how many preordered before you (the exact same model of you that is).

The Sprint white GS4 still is listed for April 27th... the black GS4 was changed yesterday to have no information about release date.
It looks like the black one might be harder to come by then the white one at this point.
I preordered a VZW version, but if there is no 32gb option, I will cancel and stay with my 32gb GS3. There is not THAT much difference to lose all my app storage space. My EA, Gameloft, emulators and media play fine. Still would like the S4, but the 9gb free on the 16gb version is too low for me. Just a few gb free on my S3 as it is.
Preordered my sprint samsung galaxy s4 from best buy on the 19th got my email today saying my s4 it's ready for pickup. Yeah boy

my local tmobile store here in california have stocks. I've seen them. But the manager said they have instructions not to sell until Oct.2.
So i assume most tmobile stores will also have them in stock in the coming days. But won't display them until opening day.

Got the biggest pang when i read this... I don't care what the reason behind this is... just give me the phone!!!! I want it now!!! I feel like a 2 year old who wants his candy....
Stores in Colorado do not have stock or even demos yet I can tell you that.

Just chatted with Best Buy reps and they said they are talking about Oct release. But their website shows 9/27.

So now Best Buy says it is Oct 4th, wow. Can someone please get that correct.
Supposedly it's early October but according to my pre-order mine is supposed to arrive today. Mind you there's no other info on it other than Order Placed. -shrugs-
this is pre-ordering directly from T-mobile btw.
I called AT&T and rep said, oh it's backorder but should be in within 10-15 business days. I just said, yeah Ok thanks. Wonder if these people get any training at all before answering the phones.

2nd Best Buy called, they had no idea when they would be in stock...
So far 1 person on the message boards said theirs shipped from AT&T but there is no proof.
My status still says shipping pending.
Checked on my status of the pre order on the 6th; still says shipment pending.
Anyone else get a shipping from AT&T yet?
