[Q] sensation TV OUT ....anyone?

i have a burning question for all of you android/HTC experts out there....please help me
i intend to buy the sensation but i want to know:will i be able to connect it to a tv ?
the problem in my case is that my tv (and in fact none of those i could have access to) has a hdmi (or usb) port.
Therefore the only remaining option would be through a RCA cable.
I found on ebay a rca- usb cable... no boxes no nothing ...just the wire and the connectors...price about 5 $.. (i'm sorry i cant post the link.....)
will it work?
why not? i know rca is analog and usb is digital... hence my dilemma
i also know the sensation can do TV-out via MHL A/V link,but MHL is only going to work on the latest types of tvs....right?

It will work on any lcd or led tv which has a hdmi port(and as u stated ur tv has one),so it will definately work,normal hdmi cable or the cable which u have mentioned will not work,the official hdmi cable including mhl adaptor is available here:

So there is absolutely nothing i could do to connect the sensation to a tv using rca conectors????

Since HDMI is digital and RCA is analog, you would need a converter box. Something like this could do it:

HDMI out - No Video or Sound.

So I ordered a Micro HDMI cable and tried it on 2 different Samsung LCDs TV with both my TF300 and my Wife's TF300 and could not get sound or video working at all. Is there something I need to enable? Is it possible I have a bad cable?

I'm looking for a fix to HDMI output with Torxx's rom.
HDMI is detected and the screen rotates as usual, but there is no output to the TV.

but he got no answers. I have the same issue.

Does there is really HDMI output on P3100,, Lastnight I tried my Note 10.1 30-Pin connector and no luck,, I tried it KitKat rons, Jellybean and Sungsonic,, does it Really work because I see GSMARENA when I bought it said it has HDMI output but now they removed that
