Windows Mobile 6.5 is good, but outdated.
The newer Windows, Windows Phone 7 maybe good in the future, looking at its good UI and potential, but as of now, there are less applications and less functionality.

Only if you are coming from the iPhone. If you are an Android or WM 6.1/6.5 user, you will be highly disappointed by how Microsoft tried to copy the iPhone simplicity without giving you the Android versatility/customization.
As for megapixels on a camera, absolutely worthelss unless you want to blow up the photo to a 6-ft x 9-ft image.....
So I take it it's another increase in megapixels in lieu of a better sensor?

The mt4g has other things different about the camera as well. It is not just the shooting mode.

While I don't know any features that the MT4GS camera has over the Sensation camera, that's not even the main difference. It's simply a higher quality camera that takes better pics from what I've read.

Actually the revolutionary tool already supports the mytouch slide 4G. Also the camera on the slide has a wider aperture lense (f2.2) plus a backlit sensor (whatever that means)

MT4GS: focal length 3.69mm, focal ratio of f/2.2, which is amazing and makes it good in low-light.
Sensation: focal length 4.31mm. Unknown/unadvertised focal ratio.
MT4GS also has a Back-Illuminated Sensor, as does the HTC EVO 4G and the iPhone 4.

If you don't care for the extra features of the camera on the MT4GS, (geez that's a long one) then just go for the Sensation.
I went with the Sensation for the all of its 4.3 in. glory, so if screen size is something your looking at, don't go with the MyTouch...
"Internal" spec's are relatively the same and I am pretty sure the Sensation is going to have much more dev support then the MT4GS.
People really seem to love the lg camera, but what exactly does it do that Miui or AOSP doesn't?
I recently installed Weapon to see what I was missing and it didn't seem like much over Miui, so is there just something I'm missing?

The stock LG Camera UI is really nice compared to the stock GB Camera UI. I just looks different and doesn't have as easily accessible features
Compared to the Gingerbread Camera, LG supports 1080p recording, the ability to control ISO, and i believe Manual Focus as well.
That's why i love MIUI, it has everything you need.
Lg camera app also allows you to zoom in/out while video recording.

I dont think anyone here is "retarded" and expects their phone camera to be as good as a $300+ camera. BUT..when the capability is there for the hardware you have to be BETTER, than yes....its a pretty valid cause for attention. Personally, I have expensive camera..but do I want to lug them around with me 24/7? Of course not. Its nice to have a camera that I always have on me (since my phone is always on my person), that can take a pretty decent photo/video at a moments notice.
The panoramic shot mode was also pretty cool
MIUI Camera is better IMO.
Vignette all the way. There are apps better than the LG cam out there so why complain? I personally didn't like the LG cam because the preview was really blurry when you moved around. I don't like the GB cam either because it's ugly (like the LG cam).

The only thing I ever use my FFC for really is face unlock and honestly, once you set that up and snap a few shots of yourself in diff lighting, etc. It recognizes you almost IMMEDIATELY. Also, I take some shots of myself with my ffc every now and again when I'm out and about... In bright natural light it looks pretty good. Look at it this way too, the iPhone 4S has a 0.3mpx ffc as well.

Honestly the 4s ffc blows the sensation big time.. but also the sensation tends to get quite dusty so before i use ffc i take back cover off clean the dust from the lenses and voila !

The quality is honestly horrible but its a ffc and doesn't need to be hd so its not that big of a deal. Almost all phones have horrible ffcs haha. And the Sensation just turned a year old a month ago lol.

Having the 1020 ( and my wife still uses the Nokia 808) and the Note 3 the results seem pretty legit.
I don't know why they included the 1020 on the test, Nokia is 2 generations ahead in this field. There is no way to compare the 41mpx PureView sensor to the other sensors in the pack ( 6 lens optics by CZ perfectly augments the sensor resolution). Most of them are Sony BSI and the difference in IQ is 90% made by software and 10% processing power. For now, nothing is worth comparing to 1020/808.
Note 3 takes good pix on daylight, but on the other hand, it's almost useless at night. For the functionality of the Note 3 and its sector, the camera is the best out there no question asked.
Iphonearena thinks otherwise. They have placed iphone 5s on top.

Not quite sure I understand your comments. The iphone ranks second last, just ahead of the HTC One. I have the HTC One and the camera is mediocre at best. Even night shots aren't as good as advertised.

+1, night time shots suck unfortunately. but thats pretty much the case with all phone cameras.
One thing iPhone is good at is speed of taking pictures.
I used to have a one and pics where quite mixed.
Not really tested the note 3 yet.

Yep I agree! Some of those samples look really sharp & detailed to me but I'm not really that picky about smart phone cameras. I think the cam on my nexus 6 is pretty good so I'm looking forward to the pure edition quite a bit.
Since I use the phone for basically all my "photography" (if we want to call it that ). I like a good quality camera. But given I'm uploading to Google Photos. I hope they don't diminish the quality of photos too much. I'm using the "unlimited" option, so Google scales things down a bit if they desire.
But if I want to save off a good quality pick to the SDcard, that's a nice option to have.

I'm considering this phone as the next one to get. As far as it goes, the camera (good or bad) is not a deal breaker for me. I don't use the camera enough to care. To each his/her own.

The daylight and average light shots look fantastic, but the night shots aren't impressive. I feel like if we were able to get OIS we could get by with slower shutter speeds and therefor less noise.

I wish they had OIS and laser focus.
I think a 13 or 16 MP is plenty, they could focus spending the extra money on other stuff.

As long as the camera is better than the m8s (which I am almost certain it is) then that's a good enough upgrade. The m8s camera is so horrid tha its the main reason for my switch.

I don't care so much about the lack of OIS... (would have been a nice option) but I'm interested in the quality of slowmo videos (720p/120fps). I owned a Sony Xperia Z3 and there slowmo was awsome by the way "steadyshot" worked very very well !! Now I have a Note 4: pictures are looking great, video is looking great but slowmo is a shame! I think LG G4 suffers from the same problem...
I hope Moto x style will perform better in slomo...
If the moto x style cam is able to produce similar pics of quality like my note 4...that would be cool thing...
