anyone find the similar problem? I found that some softwares which can work in full screen mode in Vegan5.1.1(also works in TNT), can not work in full screen mode in CM7. it seems that there are some problem in the self-adapt in CM7?
why? and is there any method to solve such problem?
thanks!
it seem that this problem can be solve by the Spare Parts~ cancel the option of "compatibility mode"

My Swype Beta (supposedly compatible with tablets now) behaves strangely when I tilt my tablet to "portrait mode". It messes up the key orientation, making it impossible to accurately type anything.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the beta.apk. Same result.
Has anyone had this issue?

Search is your friend..known issue, it is a problem with the change in how screen resolution is determined in 3.2 honeycomb...several threads on this already.swype is working on a fix but it won't be out until a new full version is worth releasing...
I flashed Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.2.2, and when I want to adjust widget size, I found crazy screen problem.
Anyone experience the same problem? How to solve it?
I think you're going to have to expand a little. What widget and exactly what problem are you having?
My nexus s' proximity sensors have stopped working. I am rooted and running aokpcb rom, I'm wondering if this is a hardware problem or something with the rom? The screen won't turn off when answering / making a call when the phone is brought up to my ear. I also tried using the app prox pro, and that wouldn't work either. If anyone knows a fix or what the problem is, that would be great.
Backup your current ROM , wipe and install a Stock ROM.
Issue solved --> Rom Issue
Issue unsolved --> hardware issue
Thank you for your response. I tried your suggestion, and the problem wasnt fixed with wiping and installing a stock rom. But, with experimentation, I installed the app "Prox Pro" and whenever I would turn it on, it would execute the command that was specified for when the phone was "flat". So, when realising this, I am assuming that my phone developed some sort of calibration problem with the sensors. All in all, I am wondering if there is a way that I can re-calibrate my proximity sensor so that they work properly. Thank you.
Could that just be the default for the phone if it's not getting a reading?
I don't think its the default. The sensors always worked fine up until sometime last week.
I meant a default if there is no signal or an error, which is what it currently looks like.
Oh, okay, ya that could be it. Do you have any idea how to change it? I also realised that the light sensor isn't working either, when on auto brightness, the screen will always be dim, no matter how bright it is outside. If you, or anyone else has a solution, I will open up my phone and check to see if there are any connection issues or something like that .
Can somebody confirm that auto brightness isn't working in v10c and v10e?
i never had such kind of problem

I did find one document on LG servers regarding on how to fix this. I will see if I can find it. It is hardware bug as I remember.
EDit:
I did not find that document but i found service software CD it has all, from hardware repairs to software upgrade. 512Mb

It isn't a hardware bug, i tested the proximity sensor in the hidden menue and it's working.
I fixed the issue when i wiped everything in the built in recovery and with everything i mean really everything you can wipe.
now i can change the britghtness to auto mode through the power-widget and it's working.
EDIT: before that, auto mode always turned full brightness on and i couldn't fix it
Brightness sensor still not working + pics and videos missing

Hi,
I tried wiping everything with hard reset/recovery - no change. Are you absolutely sure the sensor is working? I can change the brightness too in the power widget, but the screen still does not react to light.
Unfortunately I lost the pics and videos included when doing total recovery - I thought the built in backup would keep them (like it kept the pics I've taken) silly of me.... Anyone know how to get these files? Maybe a kind soul out there would like to upload them?

I think there is something wrong with some permissions on my Feiting H9500+. After booting my phone both of the internal cameras works fine. But after opening the camera app for the second time, the screen shows up green (check screenshot which i included as attachment). The only solution i know to fix this is to reboot my phone again. Which is ofcourse very annoying.
Does someone know a more permanent solution for this 'green screen camera' problem?

I have this H9500+ I bought at Aliexpress. After a couple of months this issue start to happen. I think it has something to do with software and not hardware because if you poweroff, remove the battery, put back and turn on it will come back to normal. At least for some more time!
It probly has something to do with some software I have installed. But since I have installed a ton of apps I don't know witch one coused this to happened. Best bet I think would be to installed a new fresh ROM from scratch and see if the problem persists.
Cheers,
