Btw, I see you seem to be anticipating the launch of the playbook. May be interested in checking out the app "Lonely Turret" when you get the playbook if you like tower defense games. (I know the dev )

how can i apply this update on my xt720 running khal's v4 rom?
do i use openrecovery and update or use metamorph app downloaded from market?
i tried both, the update failed saying the file is invalid...

Yes use metamorph from market.
Make sure USB debugging is on and you are rooted.
unzip the file and place it in AndroidThemes folder on sdcard.
Open metamorph and select existing theme, select mattedblueXT.
Select the .xml file and apply the two parts individually.
Your phone will reboot and you should be themed.
Note that you may have to apply it twice.

Hi cdstewart
I tried applying the theme just as you described but my phone re-booted and got stuck in boot-loop. I'm going back to stock now. Can you give a different method that might work too?

Well the status bar colour, icons highlights, and minor things like pop-up boxes are the only things that really change.
the rest is just launcher pro and some mix and match icons from all over the place.
So the theme does work.

I'm keeping the above custom separate than the original package. As I did not create the rest.

These icons were not generated for android, there are some icons that do not fit for android os, and some missing.

i had minimalistic, but known issue is phone app force closes when someone calls you.

Actually I was kinda wondering how to use them myself lol. I tried using FolderOrganizer like you suggested fdot and I was able to succesfully change the icon through the app itself but how do you get it to show that same icon in the app drawer or on the homescreen? For example, in FolderOrganizer i changed the TiKL icon to the custom ptt icon that you made but in the app drawer and home screen it still shows the default one. Would really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance

Long click home screen, choose add wiget, choose folderorganizer item, choose the app.
Wont change the app drawer that I know of. But thats not a feature I would use anyway.

This is a MetaMorph for all CyanogenMod 6 Roms including Nightly.
Instructions: You must be rooted.
1. Download MetaMorph from the market by Stephen(Stericson) and install it.
2. Put the cmparts_ui.xml AND CM6RC2_Nightly.zip that I have included in the second post on the root of your sdcard.
3. Go to Settings>CyanogenMod settings>User interface>Tweaks extras> and then select Import colors from XML. This will change the color of the fonts. Reboot your phone.
4. Open MetaMorph and click on Unzip/Extract new theme. Direct it to CM6RC2_Nightly.zip. It will extract all theme files and then click APPLY ALL (this requires reboot at the end).
5. Enjoy what has to be one of the greatest themes ever made for Android.
*Market may ForceClose. Ignore this.

Answer: Every time there's a new nightly you have to morph the theme after flashing but its not necessary to import the font color xml... although it wouldn't hurt just in case.

For some reason only certain elements worked. The status bar is red, but the lockscreen sliders are not. I was running frost and it seems some of the new elements didn't overwrite the other theme that was already installed.

The clock in the taskbar being red would be in the services.jar. if that file isn't in the theme you will keep the color you had

Well you guys did better than me; mine wouldn't even BOOT. I flashed CM 6.1 in CWM and then immediately put the theme over it, not sure if that had anything to do with it or not...also, does the data fix work? I stayed up until 3 this morning trying to get 6.1 to boot AND restore my apps (3rd time through it booted, but I didn't have the GApps package so I had to go BACK to MIUI, download the GApps, then reflash). Frustrating night.

That's really odd. Try wiping and reflashing.
As far as the clock in the statusbar, does CM for the Incredible have the options to change those colors? I didn't bother changing any of that in the theme since you can change the clock/date stuff in the status bar in CM settings on the Evo.

Try this: Wipe, flash CM, let your phone boot and sync, then go back into recovery and flash the theme.

Exact same thing here. This is coming from a full wipe and clean install of CM. I'm really eager to get this to work!

CyanogenMod settings - Input settings - Check "Phone and Messaging". And you can also set your messaging tab application. If you use a third party messaging app like Handcent.

This is something I have been working on thought some people might like it. I am slowly adding Icons so request are welcome. The DIRECT DL AND THE ATTACHMENT will be the one that gets Icon updates The current count is 60+ icons in 5 colors. They are all common Apps and some of the requested ones as well. The wallpapers are a quickie just to match the icons. Enjoy.

myn's is using launcher pro so dl the zip un-pack it put it on the root of your sd card then just do a long hold on the icon on your dock that you want to change. Then the option to changer icon will come up navigate to the icon you want to use.To change your icons of your so apps on the home screens you need a program like better cut. Launcher pro allows you to change the icons in thee dock natively though

This theme is heavily influenced by BlackFroyo from SamCrow from the Samsung Vibrant forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895772 and also Erebos by Regedy1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1003379 and of course from my Dark Horse Theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=992967. A kfunk what's good man??? Ha I like the theme. Wanted to know did you add any extra apps to your theme. I seen in the screen shot you had the black face book widget. And wanted to know was that part of the theme. You know some themes include alot of extra apps I don't personally use. And sometimes I have to go and remove them. I run without the google add on's cause my roms are a lot faster. So I wanted to know before I flashed this. Thanks

Yes - the black facebook is included in the theme
me likey just a shame i dont use any of those roms anymore been using aospcmod2/1 now.

Question??
So I dowloaded the theme and everything seems okay except for the top bar still seems CM6.1 stable (still has green battery). I tried downloading the XML and nothing happened. Sorry if theses are dumb questions....still a noob...that really is liking the theme and would like to have my hero looking like the screenshots....any and all help is appreciated!!!!
kfunk i tried flashing it too i had the same error as above, upon inspection you left your framework-res as a .zip instead of an apk
Kfunk, your xml won't download from dropbox as an xml doc. You'll need to put it in a zip before you put it in db.
Oops... I'll fix this and re-post it along with the .XML file

**edit** I have fixed the framework-res file for cm6.1 and have also zipped up the .xml file on the OP so all should be well now (I hope)
I also went ahead and renamed it back to BlackFunk as well instead of BlackHorse to distance it a little from the DarkHorse theme
Awesome...I am redownloading now...fyi...it downloads as blackhorse...almost complete....
