[Q] How to get XDA threads on Android widget? - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys,
Just wondering if theres an app i can get to see a live feed (like RSS) on a widget, but i only want individual threads... not just a XDA RSS feed... if you know what i mean
I just want to be able to see whats up in LeeDroid and iNsertCoin threads without going to the XDA app (which i do have the premium version) but i thought a widget would be cool. Like plume i guess

[Q] News/RSS Widgets

I am looking for a full screen news/rss widget. I have searched google and xda and nothing.
Any suggestions is much appreciated.
Edit: Please move to General Aria discussion.
you can try Instant news for google. i havnt tried it myself, but it seems to have what youre looking for. or you can search the Market or Androlib.com for whatever you want
Just either use the default news widget if your using sense. You can add custom rss feeds etc and its full screen

Hiding facebook spam

Just wondering what I can do to hide all the games facebook spam in the facebook app. I use launcher pro and the widget is annoying to try to sift through all of my friends that play the facebook games.
If anybody knows how to get rid of that garbage please enlighten me lol. Thanks in advance!

Bookmarks in app drawer on android JB?

Hello,
I think this is the right place in the forum to ask this. Apologies if not, feel free to move/delete....
Is it possible to have a bookmark saved in my app drawer? I know u can do it on your home screen but I want the bookmark to be saved as an app icon in the app drawer.
From googling already it seems it isn't possible but this is quite hard to believe!
Many thanks

Looked all over for a home screen apps sorter

Ok guys I've looked everywhere but found nothing. I am looking for an app that simply sorts home screens apps in some order. I don't want one that makes folders. I want to just be able to use the app to sort every now and then and just close it afterwards. Thanks

I am confused I guess. I don't understand exactly what you are looking for. You want an app to organize your apps on your home screen? Can't you just just organize them how you want them on your home screen? Maybe I don't understand exactly what you are looking for.

Action Launcher gives an alphabetical list similar to windows phone.
If I understand correctly, you want an equivelant to the windows shortcut for "sort by name/type/date modified" for your homescreen, or for your appdrawer.
I echo the thoughts of others in asking why. It's not like your homescreen can accumulate dozens of apps the same way a desktop can pick up dozens of shortcuts, or that they are difficult to get rid of or sort yourself. Folders work fine... also, there are widgets such as Glovebox and CircleLauncher which will allow you to create live groups of self-hiding icons.
but Android is an open OS, so the simple answer is, if there's something you want that doesn't exist, just build it yourself. this, however, seems to be something that would be at the launcher level, not the level of a widget or app.
Exactly. But for people like me who hate using app drawer I think there should be some kind of stock setting
