Ok guys... this is probably the most complete sense 2.1 + sense 3.0 rom there is out right now... but feel free to correct me if im wrong...
1st... huge thanks to misifit for getting these shift ports starting, also thanks to virus for his huge contribution to all port that are running around here on xda.
2nd... huge thanks to Jade for paying attention to some new things that kept on coming.
3rd... huge thanks to RC-team and romanBB for their original version of tweaks.
4th... huge thanks to pvy for the Miui like battery bar settings app and mod (i added it to tweaks instead of a stand-alone app)
as always thanks chingy for his debloater addons to tweaks and to mcluvin for the graphics and of course huge, huge, huge props to seo and snq- that made sure a lot of the sense 3.0 apps can be used with sense 2.1.

You must re-theme SystemUI, Rosie, framework-res, Settings, HTCCamera, and i hope i didnt leave more out
Bootanimation file names have changed
I think it goes without saying that a lot of smali files got changed (framework and system apps)
Known Bugs:
Long pressing on tabs to remove them will not work.
I had issues keeping the bounce overscroll and the tabs working together so i decided that it is an "OK" bug to have since most of us never use the long press on tabs anyways and might like the bounce overscroll better.
As far as i can tell any other bug is really minor... but ill add to the list as time goes on
If its grayed out... its not a bug...

Do you know if this rom has all the same video quirks as other "Z" based roms? For instance, on all Z roms I've tried (MikZ, WarmZ and one other) NHL GameCenter Live will not display video, just play audio.
Also, you didn't mention if HDMI was working, I assume not though.

i think with hdmiwin all work... but i cant test it... maybe u can test and let me know.
keep in mind... i did say "work in progress" so its not perfect yet... and cuz its based on dhd and desire z... it might never be perfect just cuz of the 4g thing.

i dont know why xda mutli quote dont work...
anyways, to answer a few questions.
* i didnot check video for 720p playback... but i saw that virus missed a few things... so it might be good on this rom... i need to check, but than again... this is why its a "WIP"
* this is not themed besides the semi trans pulldown/app drawer and the fact that i added a few skins.
* MMS seems to still dont work... i changed all the apns all over the packages... and still no go... we'll see later on what can be done with it.
* this is not the evo GB leak... this is sense 2.1... with GB.

I am assuming if we use the latest netarchy kernel it will break the camera?

didnt try... but this is gb... i think it will be at least a month before we will see a good bug free custom kernel on GB roms.

Few Questions
I am trying to use the wifi hotspot. I cannot connect to my computer. I get an error " the settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements for the network". The usb tether works . I have tried the wifi tether app and it doesnt work either. These have worked with previous ROMs but not this one.
I am also looking for the png that sits in the middle of the rosie nav bar that says "phone". Any idea where to find this png at?
I have made some mods to this Rom already like the battery, spinners, rosie nav bars.
Another thing i am trying to change is the "EVDO" in the top bar. I can not find it in the resource folder. I believe it is in the System UI apk, but I am not sure.

Difference between Odex and Deodex Versions
Odexed is taking the classes.dex file within every .apk in the rom, removing it and compressing it differently in a .odex file this makes for a lot faster first boots and over all performance as the dalvik cache is not being used in the same manner and a deodex version.
Deodexed is leaving the classes.dex file inside every .apk which makes is much easier to theme or modify each .apk but you do sacrifice some speed.

How to use overclock widget instead of setcpu:
Download it from the market and add the widget to your home screen.
Tap on the widget.
Goto advanced settings.
Make sure "Use your frequencies" is checked.
Tap on "Detect frequencies". Scroll down to the bottom and tap save.
Tap on the overclock widget again and you should be able to set your frequencies.
How to use setcpu:
Download it from xda it's free for xda members: Link or Buy it from the market.
Once installed it will ask for root access. Superuser will pop up. Pick always allow.
On the device selection screen scroll down to Custom Frequencies. It will read the values from the setcpu.txt installed on your sdcard.
Now you should be able to set your custom frequencies.
OpenOverclocker in the market also works well although it's very basic. Only two sliders to mess with min/max.

Agreed. This is the finest, fastest, stablest Sense based rom out there. I play with the Froyo roms often but always come back to this. For whatever reason it just seems smoother than anything Froyo (was last running the 8/25 nightly). I think Hero phones just like Sense.
Thanks Zen/Zippy for all you do (and especially this rom) XDA is a better place because of you guys (even though you did ditch us for the Evo!)

how well does jit work within this rom are their certain widgets that dont work or does it run pretty smooth? pros and cons?

Haven't tried jit because it runs silky smooth without. Only issue that I have run into is with voice search. Other than that runs smoother than stock. Flash has worked impeccably

the rom runs smooth and stable without JIT enabled. I was having random reboots with JIT enabled.

Changelog says:

In checking quadrant throughout the day the system info only registers the CPU speed at 691, never seen 710, am I missing something?
I did stray from the pack and flashed the latest Froyo nightly (I do that) for about an hour tonight (and also flashed Decadences kernel), promptly missed Zen and came right back. I did wipe before the restore but could any of that had an affect on the CPU speed? Did it mess with the ramdisk?
It appears the kernel is set to 'ondemand' does that mean I need to stress out the system somehow to have the CPU ramp up to 710?
I've not messed with the ZenUpdater (other than to look around) but noticed it was set to 'user config', is that normal?

It should work.

SInce im not posting from XDA APp and can elaborate now,
WHen I opened music app it would just force close over and over again
Even tried a different music app "mspot" same thing over and over
Tried wiping 3 tiems and reflashing, wiped everything but ext since I dont use ext no luck
GREAT WORK though cannot wait for the music to be fixed!
Edit: I can probably restore and get a logcat if needed

It seems that "touch to auto-focus" has been replaced by "touch to take picture" in the Camera? Is that how it's supposed to be? I remember previously it was "touch to auto-focus" and "touch and hold to take picture"... just curious.

Installation Instructions
-Backup current apps+data (never system data)
-Download G2xTreme and place it on your External SD
-Reboot to Clockwork Recovery
-wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache
-Go to mounts/storage and format /system
-Flash G2xTreme
-wipe data/factory reset if you want haptic feedback to work
-Reboot
-On bootup, please wait a few minutes before doing anything, then login to google (or skip and setup wifi first)
-Go to settings/applications and check the box to allow unknown sources (if you want)
- Go to settings/display and select brightness and UNCHECK automatic and adjust to your liking (auto brightness, AFAIK has always been an issue with stock roms, LG's fault)
- Run LG 2X/Black Notification App and Accept SU permissions (otherwise Backlight notifications will not work)
- Charge Battery to 100%, run BatteryCalibration App, uninstall app (wont need it after that)

Status Error 0 is usually fixed by copying the update_binary file from the original 2.3.3 Update zip and replace the version in your zip, same location (Something like META-INF -> google, etc etc). Hope that helps!

Like I said in the op... this is going to be a very basic rom for awhile... I will update it often... but as the mods get more technical they will take more time.. but its fun learning.. (and frustrating).. and I have a ton of respect for the true developers out there...

Personally, I wouldnt mess with the DPI. Its very easy for users to get an app that will change that, and some apps looks very funky\screwy when you mess with the default dpi. Its def not a bad thing, but I would recommend you make it an add-on or leave it up to the user.

i agree. a lot of apps look like **** at 190. i love it, but the greader app by google looks horrible. had to revert back to 240

Updated to V .2 - small changes... but learning a lot as I go... totally open to ideas of things that you would like to see in a rom.... give me something to work on... I am really focusing on learning how to add reboot option to power menu.... pretty big step for me .. seems difficult... but not too bad at the same time

Very Stable.... especially right now... the current mods are very basic mods.. stock kernel... no seriously modified apks... again.. Well, I just installed the ROM. It's very fast, and absolutely no bloat, so that's good. Haptic Feedback on the capacitive buttons isn't working though.

Heres how to Swap internal and External Sd Cards
Here is the modded vold.fstab for swapping internal memory with external memory.
(This allows you to use your sd card (upto 32-64gb) for apps instead of being stuck with just 11gb)
Two methods to applying this-
1) use adb or root explorer, delete your current vold.fstab in system\etc and replace with the one i have provided.
2) RECOMMENDED Open up your roms zip/rar file and delete vold.fstab in system\etc and replace with the provided one.
(This way is PREFERRED because then your ROM will be started from scratch with this storage configuration)

almost all things are half way done brother.. extended menu is out there, power 14-15 toggles, reboot/shutdown issue fixed/radio,kernels basebands done, except faux's kernel, and aosp lockscreen i saw on your project is something you might wanna think twice, me & alphadog ripped that apart and he changed codes around to get it going to = failure what samsung has done with this rom or lets not hope for this ics or any future releases is that aosp lockscreen in smali its been turned into two touchwizes , you'll see when u do .smali you'll rip your hair out like we did ..but yah if anything gimme a shout on [email protected]

-reboot into team win recovery

-factory data reset
-then go to mounts and choose external sd
-no go back and find the rom by choosing install zip
-swipe to confirm
-then install the radio you downloaded
and when complete reboot phone
-at this point everything will be settling and caching
which may or may not seem laggy.... and yes that white line is normal
its a battery representation mod
-im sure youll be eager to update busybox immediatly but let me tell you no
first open super user app.. find preferences and update user binary
hit it twice giving it root permissions
now .. is when to update busy box through the provided installer

-power down phone

It's actually not IP based but cookies based, so basically you can just wipe cookies/ go into and out of private browsing and vote as much as you want.
I already voted like 10 times to test it :X

LOL, I had it downloaded and was about 10 secs from flashing. I was saved by Metalsucks where my attention was again diverted. BTW, anyone else see Zappa's eyes lookin back?

but if your going to start over .. may as well make it easy

well as far as bugs i can really work too much magic
the standard bugs are there
i just tried bringing it down a bit so it could
have less issues
seems to be working good
ive been off and on with jellybean
if anything it just adds another rom perspective to the whole cm thing
kinda feels touchwizzy
but i chose instgator kernel to avoid the standard kernel compile issues
so i just built his boot then included it

as far as note 2 if its quad core in the U.S im in
