[Q] Removing numbers in battery icons - Thunderbolt General

With a lot of these ROMs for the Thunderbolt, there are numbers in the battery icon (which I hate). What's the easiest way to remove the numbers and just have the icon?

Look in the themes section, should be a battery icon, of your liking, there that you can flash.

I'm running TeslaCoil 1.5.

Custom 3G status icons

Does anyone know where I can find custom 3G icons? I've been able to find battery icons, but not any other top bar icons.

There's a couple on XDA forums.
Okay without being an ass, best bet it to search through other phone themes and roms and take the stat_sys.pngs out of the frameworkres.apk and paste them over to your framework.

Allowed to "Edit" Roms?

I was wondering if it's possible to edit a ROM after download. I'm currently using H3Y3BRIDTH3ORY and I'm not a fan of the circular battery at all, so I was curious if we're "allowed" to edit a ROM to bring it back to the stock battery with percentage and how I'd go about doing that.
you can theme it anyway you want. xpack is working on themes for it currently, you might get with him about it.
Check out UOT kitchen, you can do a lot there, or you can just swap out the icons from a Rom that has stock battery icons on your pc using winrar or 7zip. The battery icons are in framework-res.apk and there are 200 of them.
I tried going there already and was very confused.

Transparant status bar mod

Hello,
Is there a way to change the status bar to a transparant one without having to flash some kind of tweaks?
I kina like my phone setup as it is right now (VI401 with nova prime) and have a hidden toggle to hide the statusbar on my homescreen.
The bar stay's visible at the lockscreen, whilst the info is verry handy, the black bar covers some of my wallpaper, and i don't like it this way.
Would it be possible to change the PNG file(s) with a transparant one at some location? Where would that/these locations be?
I'n quit new to android, and have no developpers skills. Finding correct dirs and making my own PNG files is no pob for me.
Cheers,
adam

There is no way to change the stock one unless you're rooted.
If you are - search in the themes & Apps sub-forum for mods.
If you aren't - either stay with the current or download one of the many 3rd party apps in the market that will add a percentage battery notification.
