[ROM] Pays-ROM Desire Froyo v1.0 [Lightweight] [16th July 2010]

This is a froyo based ROM.
I added my well known framework and included a lot of modifications you will find on XDA dev. I used richards default kernel so you shouldn't have any problems flashing one of his UV or OC kernels in order to overclock with SetCPU.
I tried to make a stable lightweight ROM and its about 68 MB now.

Important:
After the first boot your device will need a while so don't be scared when there is a black screen after the boot screen. The setup wizard will popup as soon as the device is ready

Just flashed Richard Trip's UVOC kernel and using set cpu. Works perfectly. Can't test echo as yet but everything else seems to be great!
Edit: Using setcpu and OC I get linpack results of 45.111. Nice. Lol

Since this is a Froyo rom, after flashing can I just restore apps like I would on 2.1 rom?
Is the apps2sd the same as in 2.1?

Is this based on the leaked Sense, AOSPs or other ports? I am asking because only the Sense based ones currently do not have the WiFi sleep issue and I am wondering whether this ROM is the same as your Sparta, the one where Sense was removed but still based on HTC one.

This would properbly become the first Froyo rom I'll be satisfied with.
So what dialer is in this rom? The one who comes up with names or the one that just shows the numbers you're typing?
At the moment I'm running your Eclair 2.3 rom with great deal of succes..... Wondering what the experiences of this rom will be!

nope it will go asa -> Rom syncs all (including picasa pics)

Yes Hdmi Works!! battery shd be better than Stock

No Dailer and contacts Are there They are the best things that HTC provides + htc camera
its a blend of Htc Apps and Google Apps
And represented in non sense way (google stock way)
all htc widgets and unwanted apps are removed
+ Some Edits to make it better = usable

This one is a little faster than the HD build, so minus the known issues, it's a great build

Just a general question..why do the cameras never work in this?

There aren't many devs that can do that type of work, they are working on it and have somethings working but it's not completely done yet

Correct but we need a program to tell the system the keyboard has opened when we rotate the screen because Sense doesn't auto rotate without it just like in the Windows Mobile days & Flip It

Main differences are,
Bigger font than HD build and no eReader

Nice work.. I am using Insercoin V1.1.1 with stock HBOOT (250 MB ) system partition. Do I need to do full wipe to install this ROM.?

full wipe is always recommend when switching to another Rom, so yes make a full wipe but you can also try wipe dalvik + cache and you will see what happends, but for optimal run a full wipe is needed in most cases

It fit's on Internal memory, while IC is partially installed on ext partition.
I have 1 question though, after initial flash dalvik cache is moved to internal or ext partition?

Also another question: where are weather animations located? When i tap htc clock, weather app is opening but the background is black. (i can only hear weather sounds)

lockscreen icons are NOT included because then the rom wouldn't fit in the system partition..
about weather animations;it will be fixed in the next version...

This base was used only because it was the one most requested. I think the 3.06 base should be used as well, but I suck with smali so the themeing would be a PITA

one slight grievance, the friendstream widget is not quite sized right & its near impossible to hit the refresh button on it. will other friendstream apks work for this ROM (or does it have to be the same base etc?)
