I'm testing out this new Radio/ROM combination and i need the provisioning for US Cellular.
can anyone be kinda enough to put their phone into Diag mode and read Via QPST or CDMA Workshop (NV Items) and post the file?? of coarse hide your ESNs. QPST will usually Name the file after your ESN so rename it before posting.

Hi,
The modern 3G modems includes in an area that usually emulates a CD (called zerocd) the drivers and tools for some OS. I am trying to replace the software offered by the operator with my own version. Does any one know howto enable the write function into the zerocd.
I dont mind to do it with huawei or ZTE 3G modems?

I updated the firmware and unlocked a hauweii E160 and installed the debranded dashboard on my laptop
I wanted to replace the custom version on the ZeroCD partition with the debranded one
The site I found the unlocking/debranding guide on has a link to an article about how to update the CD but did sadly it was a dead link

For both manufacturers you'll need to create an iso with all the program files you'll need on it. For ZTE, download a program called dccrap.exe and use the 'write dashboard' function in the 'flashing' tab to write your iso to the modem, You can also use the 'read dashboard' function to copy the dashboard from a modem.
For Huawei, download 'Huawei dashboard tool' V 7 or 8. input your iso file and output an exe installer file that will write your program to your modem. If you want to copy the programs from Huawei modem flash installer files use a program called reshacker and extract a resource from the .exe called either 250.bin or updatewizard.bin, make sure to save them as .rsrc files and then once saved change the file ending to .bin. Use 7zip to edit these.
If you want to copy te programs directly from a 3g modem use a program called infrarecorder - all manufacturers

Hi!
I have downloaded .qcn file from my i780 via QPST tools. By experiment changed nv item 85 NV_SEC_CODE_I (SPC) from 000000 (hex 3030303030330) to hex (000000000000) and wrote qcn back to phone. writing to phone failed at 8% (possible at item85). Now I can only look some items but cant change SPC, cos it needs 6 digits input (in my case is NULL).
Is there any chance to write new code to phone?
Used PSAS (revskills) allows to dump code but not to cnange. Folder NVM is not accessable. locked..

I found my SPC cnanged to AAAAAA (414141414141). In EFS explorer its passes ok, in Software downloader it doesnt allow to type chars.. is any idea how to change manually?

I have HTC Vivid LTE Mobile , I would like to read nv items from this phone and specially LTE nv items so if anyone have idea how to edit "/nv/item_files/modem/lte/ML1/ant_corr_rpt_per" file using QXDM and QPST please help me. I have a paid version of CDMA WS just FYI
Here is what I got so far. I dump my NV items from terminal using this string
dd if=/dev/stl5 of=/sdcard/cdma.rfs
I am able to use Magic ISO to extract all the NV items to be able to view them.
Now the file format they are currently in is able to be read by a hex editor but not by CDMA WS. I am under the impression they are a binary file extension even though no extension shows up.
Here is my question, a few of the NV items are in multiple parts, I am so confused how to compile them and have them be able to be written to a phone in CDMA workshop.
