hi, Im wondering one think... this smartphone has got Autostereoscopy screen. As we know there is 4 technlogii of 3D:
-Stereoscopy anaglypf (anaglyphic 3D)
-Polarization technique
-Sequential Technique
-Autostereoscopy
In which techlogii I schould put film in LG Optimus 3D to see this film in 3D. for example I have "Avatar 3D" and dont know in what techlogii I schould have this movie (Stereoscopy anaglypf (anaglyphic 3D),Polarization technique,Sequential Technique,Autostereoscopy) to see this movie corectly. does phone convert movie that I'll see Autostereoscopy or not? or maybe it's doesn't matter? how does it works?
If you upload small clips in those different renderings I could tell you what works best. I have the phone right now. lol

This is 40 MB movie in HD Ready (720P) Movie is in stereoscopy anaglypf (anaglyphic 3D) technologii, take a look how does it works,please. It colud be great if you will have a red/cyan glasses to compare effect with glasses and without.

I try upload some clip in polarization technique (Side-by-side) as soon as posible
I really want to know can watch 3d movie when I put this on the phone. dont really know why nobody check this yat.Basically if that works Im will buy this phone if not I'll chose something else
A 3D clip posted in anoher thread shows that the Optimus 3D records in [email protected]@6Mbps AVC side by side in 3D mode. Not sure if it supports any other 3D format, but at least this should work.
So you take your 3D Bluray and run it thru DVDFab or similar software to convert into the format above and then you should be able to watch your movie on the Optimus or your HDTV.

What's up xda...1 of my co workers told me about a site that has movies, tv shows and all types of videos that u can stream on ur phone...She has a iPhone and some movies worked for her..I got the tv show 24 to work but most said this video cannot be played...Does anybody know of any other sites like this or why the videos won't play..This site is really kool and would love an alternative..
Most video won't play because divx isn't supported....yet. Also Flash plays back so poorly on the Hero that Flash movies are out of the picture.
Supposedly HTC has a divx codec/player in Alpha. I bet we see it with the Evo release.

Just wondering what video converter is best to use for the sensation. I want to fill whole screen, no black bars. I also don't want to wait 5 hrs for the video to convert. Any suggestions?

i have badaboom.. but it came with my nivida 460 gpu.. it only works with nividia graphic cards that i know of. but it works great otherwise.

Try Videora. You can find it just by googling it. I was really big on it back when I had a (don't everyone flame on me at once) iPod Video. It converted them fairly quickly and it allows you to pick the resolutions you want.
If you have a Mac I swear by Hand Brake. When I had a PC I uses Cucusoft, but that costs some dough.

To be fair some people might not know that even in the normal youtube app if you search for "yt3d enable true" it will show you 3D videos.

thanks for the sarcastic tone. I know there are 3D YouTube videos and I've been using it, what I ment was an app that's built specially for this. just made easy like this Phereo 3D to view and download 3D videos. there are thousands of apps in the market and there might be one for 3D videos only.

Anyway, there is precious little decent 3D content for TVs let alone what I would expect to be an even smaller market, 3D Smartphones. So I would be surprised if there was an app specific for this.
I have an LG TV and Sony 3D Blu-ray player and the 3D apps on both those are pretty rubbish, its mostly movie trailers and random clips designed to show off the effect such as short wildlife videos. So I can't imagine them bothering with Android when they haven't even made a decent effort for TVs. So far, all my 3D content comes from either YouTube or Blu-ray.

1. Does 3D really works or its just a huss-fuss gimmik?
2. To tell truth I never felt 3D on my laptop using 3D googles and 3D movie except 4-5 seconds.
3. Same at cinema hall, I hardly notice any 3D except few scenes, rest all are departed cyan-red overlapping pictures giving terrible headache and cant enjoy at all.
4. I thought may be just I dont feel 3D but its not like, I saw a 3D show on local museum and I really felt the 3D effect n looked good too., so problem is not in me I guess.
Rest you suggestions.

Okay , I'll be as plain as possible.
3D is great but not on 3D Max nor any device really. 3D is still in it's infancy so there are problems none of which would bother you from the interface but a problem as in a general way.
Parallax Barrier on the screen will cut the pixels in the screen in half. So it looks bad. Imagine playing a game in 3D but with a 640x480 resolution on a PC. When you connect it to a 3D TV it's okay but with parallax it's not.
Lg is notorious for it's software upgrade schedule you probably won't be up to date with your android device without 3rd party roms.
This is a serious issue , it frustrated me a lot.
But in sum you will feel the 3D and it will give you headaches until you get used to it.
3D Camera and Video is really great , especially when you attach it to a TV.
3D Max has a high-end device price tag but if you think about it and research a little bit more , you'll see there are a lot of devices better than 3D max... Some of them even cost less.
3D max is just a little bit upgraded version of Optimus 3D nothing more.
I got a p920 , it's good , fast , efficient (with a good software i might add.) , So is the 3D Max.
Despite everything i just said , i would hang on to my P920 any day.
It's sturdy , really tough to break even the glass part.
I'm guessing 3D max is probably the same.

Yes u feel 3d but maybe no good enough see 3d in 4,3" even it's glass less 3d, but the best parts is u can make 3d video and playing game with 3d converter app. I really love my p920 while playing samurai vengeance in 3d mode

3D MAX owners should answer this and so far for 3D MAX there is only 1 custom ROM based on factory Gingerbread.
So don't get confused with P920 because we have 27-30 different ROMS to choose starting from factory FROYO's ending to CM10 betas...
3D today is not based on visible light filters like it was in the 70s. You will not see colours blurring. However, on the phone itself you might see an overlap of the two images (left eye and right eye).
3D glasses for the cinema and TV filter polarised light. The images for each eye are polarised differently. This works very well

Ofcourse i think u did not get my point...or u r not aware.
Actually i saw 3D movie on one my friend 6 inch tab...video was showing real 3d with blue red eye glass on tab...
Tab was very cheap approx 5000...with low hardware details...
So i suppose to see 3d videos on my moto g 3.
And looking forward for this...

Just default player....
Im almost 100% sure that only 3D displays can show 3D videos/images. I could be wrong though.
