[Q] Is there a way I can show battery percentage left in the top menu bar? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Is there a built in android option or any apps available in order for me to show battery left in percentage in the menu bar?
Thanks.

Just search HTC in Market.
I use the Battery Widget by mippen.com because it also has shortcuts to the display, gps, blue tooth, and wifi settings.

i use this one also, its 2 icons wide but it lists the temp, voltage, percent, battery life, among other things i probably forgot.
I only use the battery percentage to be honest. I use it because I like it the most from a cosmetic standpoint.

[Q] Any battery indicator with "charging" percentage?

Hello,
Anybody knows mod which would allow me to see what is current battery charge percentage is while device is being charged? Right now it's just shows "charging" icon with no indication how far along charging went.
I'm on Infused v2 Gingerbread.

I meant in title bar
Some of the UOT themes might do this.
The Rover Blue theme for CM7 does this, don't know what will do it for Samsung-derived GB.

[Q] One percent battery mod

Is there a mod to show 1% battery increments? I'm really not a big fan of the 10% increments.

I'm not sure about having a battery mod in the status bar with 1% increments (beyond my knowledge), but Circle Battery Widget (free from the market) will show increments of 1.

It is built into the system this way so circle battery only displays 10% increments
Edit: I'm wrong thanks. Using app now

I'm using an app called "Battery Notifier" (there's about 5 of them ) that also shows 1% increments. It's too bad it can't go in the right side of the notification bar.
If any developer decides to accept the challenge, the way that the 1%-increment apps work is by reading the file at "/sys/devices/platform/cpcap_battery/power_supply/battery/charge_counter" and it holds the exact percentage of the battery.

It's weird because Circle Battery Widget shows 1% increments, but SiMi Clock's battery widget only shows 10% =/
My wife's Motorola Admiral shows in 1% increments, the first Motorola i've seen that does that stock! I would love to see a functioning 1% mod, but after the fustercluck of inaccuracy the 1% mods had, i'll pass. Ive been getting killer battery life with this thing!
I've tried several apps to no avail - they all show only 10% increments.

I prefer an app called "Battery Monitor" (don't do a search on the android market because it will pull up 10 different apps w/ the same/similar name). It's right here and shows 1% increments.

[WIDGET IDEA] MIUI Battery Bar Widget

http://dnbr.org/other****/batterybar%20widget.png
Hi guys.
Back when I was using my Desire HD I'd rooted my phone and installed Miui. My favourite feature was the battery bar that ran across the top of the notification bar (see http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/222/f/b/wip__by_chrisbanks2-d464k4m.png)
Anyway, now I'm on GNex and I totally miss this feature. I was wondering if something like a 4x1 widget that could display a battery line along the top of the widget to be placed on the top of a page as I've photoshopped above. The first image shows a 100% battery and the second 40%.
Anyway, just an idea someone might wanna follow up I certainly wouldn't mind paying a couple of quid for this and I'm sure other people would agree.

Ah just tried this. It works well though the colour scheme is a bit iffy. Wasn't aware that something like this was possible as a standalone app

Big THANK to you noranyan for giving us this link !
I was looking for a MIUI-like Battery Bar for days, and now, it's done !
So thank you !
@kaineshutler : you're right, the color sheme is a bit iffy, but stay tuned because perhaps the dev will implement a color selection in the future...
Recently, he added the ability to put the bar on bottom.
So it means that the dev is still working on it !
Thanks for pointing this battery app out. Probably would have never found it. Hope the dev keeps updating it.
On thing I noticed good or bad is that the battery bar is always shown in any app so far, even games. I like it because some games do not show battery, and this is pretty unobtrusive.
How to remove battery from status bar now? Is the only way a smali edit?
