i want new phone unlocked because my g1 is slow but i was curious if there was a way to know if the chinese android phone is flashable and using which rom? and which is a good phone to buy ...
bumpppppp/
It hasn't even been 3 hours, there's no need for a bump. Also I don't think those cheap knockoffs can be flashed but it's possible. First you have to root it though which is probably possible with one of the "one-click root" apps. Actually flashing one is a bit more involved because of hardware differences. Next time just get the real phone instead of a knockoff, save yourself some headache and heartache at not being able to do everything you want.
i actually have a g1 thank you very much handsome
Well then take out the "next time"s from my previous post and I stick by it. Knockoffs generally aren't that great. Getting the real version from a store is better, even craigslist or ebay.
I rooted my galaxy note replica with bin4ry it worked perfectly as for flashing i have flashed a few things but to flash a rom it would be harder because i have found out i would have to port the custom rom to work with my device.

What did I miss? Why the assumption that the OP is talking about a "cheap knock-off". Maybe he means a Huawei, or ZTE or something.
Rooting android from China
Ok, i don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but i'm desperate. I want to flash my phone that i recently bought in China, but i'm getting no where. The problem is that i can't find recovery mod that will work on my phone. If someone have any idea what recovery mod should i try, please suggest it to me.
I'm using Samsung Galaxy Style Duos I-8262D.

It will depend on the device you have. You should search xda for your device name, but if it is a cloned device, you may not be able to find anything, because some clones are not well supported.
hey guys , i have a question about Nexus S 9023
Does this Phone have ROMs like Nexus S 9020 ?
And what do you think of Its S LCD Performance ?
hey folks,
i just want to ask about the usual htc sensation

I want to buy a phone which have an offical cm10.1 rom. Any devices that are cheap and at least 1GB ram?
You could get s3, or a nexus.
Any big names in the Custom ROM scene will be available for em.
Sent from my muffin LIFE! Under maintenance.!
AW: [Q] Any Sugestions??
As lifehacker7 said cm10.1 is a custom rom. Therefore it's not possible to buy a phone with it, because it's not "official"

I think he means a phone that will be officially supported by Cyanogenmod.
----
Your best bet there is to buy a name brand, popular phone - they are the ones that are usually first in line to get an official Cyanogenmod ROM. Basically, a Galaxy S3, Nexus 4 or any major-brand flagship device is a safe bet.
So I plan on buying a used Galaxy S6 and wanted to know which version (SM-G9XXX) is the best (most compatible with mods). Because I plan on rooting and modding the crap out of it . The only reason I ask this is because I have bought phones before with the intention of rooting and modding only to find out that it's not possible.

Well depends on where you're from and whether you will be using mm or nougat. The international version g920f seems to be the more supported version kernel and rom wise but there other models such as the g920i/g920w8/t which have a level of Rom and kernel support, do not get the g920a though that has no chance of mods, there are also a few other obscure variants which no one really supports either.
Well thanks :good: . Looks like I'm going to get the G920F.
