You should be able to download through Opera.
Also, doesn't the native YouTube app have a download option?
Try out the GETYTV or WVD web video downloader both dedicated Youtube downloader apps, They should satisfy you.

Ok, I don't know if it is just me but when I upload videos I make on my Xoom to Youtube using the Youtube app they become choppy and out of sync. The videos play fine on my Xoom, they just upload wrong. Is this just me or have others experienced this?
Hey I just tested this with a video shot on my Evo 4G (cyanogen 7), and then edited on my Xoom, then uploaded to youtube using my Xoom. The video plays fine both on my Xoom locally and from YouTube. Also plays fine from the you tube website using flash.

It takes a while for a video uploaded to YouTube to be fully transcoded into every resolution available, and during the process, if you try to view the video it will often stutter and desync at some resolutions.
At least, that's my experience.
Try going back and looking at your video after a few hours.
Since the evo streaming player can't play Facebook videos, someone had mentioned that name of a free player that works vb perfectly. Does anyone remember the name of it?

So what is everyone using for video chat with the Transformer? I want to be able to video chat from the tab to a PC. Tried GTalk on the tab with Gmail video chat on the PC...video was great but audio was horrid.
Also, what is everyone using to play video files (.avi, .mp4, .wmv, etc...)? I've been using Rock Player and it seems to work well. Tried arcMedia and it just keeps crashing. Are there any other good ones worth using?
