Can any one help me. Im on sprint with an evo 4g rooted running destroyer2 Rom with savzen kernal .1.2 Phone tells me sim card is PUK Locked when i plug it into usb it tells me SD card is broken or contains unsupported files. I have checked all simular threads i could find but cant find the answer..
Anybody have any ideas?? Or point me in the right direction?
Seem I flashed an older version of the gapps and that gave me the errors.

Yeah I did the same thing-how did you fix it?
I tried to install the correct Gapps on top of the old,no luck.Then I wiped Data,Cache,Davlik,Battery stats and re-booted but I bricked.Then I tried to re-install Destroyer,bricked.Flashing back to stock now.Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking you should restore back to your stock ROM,assuming you did make a backup before you flashed.

What was the firmware version before and after?
What model is your mobile exactly?
Do you have a backup before installing this new ROM?
If you have upgraded your firmware and you got this problem, downgrade to the previous version by restoring with the backup or via flashing manually.
it would be helpfull if you tell us which device you are running and you should just flash stock firmware (if your running samsung then odin if htc then ruu and etc) hit thanks if i helped!

Search for the stock ROM and flash it back.
Nothing much you can do.
A week ago i have the same problem, and I have to trade the SIM card to New one.
I tried to flash stock firmware but it doesn't worked out, don't no why but SIM card was broken after the flash.

next time remove ur sim as flashing errors could damage ur sim card

Because of the new ROM flashing, you probably removed the SIM data (according to your country) or the firmware
inside the new ROM isn't compatible with the parameters of the SIM card.
Try flashing another ROM, and if the SIM card is not recognized, go back to stock ROM, to restore the original data of your phone.
That should work!
that is the problem bro...i dont have the stock rom...if anyone can provide the link of stock rom or any other custom rom that would work with my cell....it would be very helpfull

I would like to ask this in this thread but I still have no permissions to write there. :crying:
I succesfully rooted my U8860 and installed TWRP. Also every custom ROM installation from the thread above works. Unfortunaly since I installed a custom ROM the phone doesn't recognize the SIM card anymore. It just sais "no SIM installed". I tried to fix this with setting up own APN entries but without any results.
Then I wanted to go back to Stock ICS 4.0.3, because the SIM works there. But the update process stops after approx. 30%. Also the downgrade patch hangs after 60%.
So, there I am. Read a lot of hints and tryed everything except of this: formating the partition in pink mode. I am a little afraid of making it worse with loosing the IMEI and/or MAC Address.
Would be nice if anybody has the solution for getting back to ICS or the SIM working on other ROMs.

So i was using elixir for a while and it was getting buggy and slow and i haven't seen that much support from the developer so i decided to switch to xTraSmooth
Upon loading the rom up i decided i wanted a fresh slate and none off the apps or app data from previous roms
So i (Dont put the rom.zip back onto the phone) and wipe everything. After that i had no usb access. So i fiddled around with uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers until sideload would work
i sideloaded the rom and booted into it. First red flag was that i had no sim card. After i went through the welcome screen i noticed i had no soft keys, no top bar, no simcard, no wifi, no nothing.
I looked into the settings>about phone and noticed i have no baseband version so i think there is no radio?
EDIT: I had usb access after so i loaded the rom normally and flashed the zip. Same result.
If anyone could tell me whats wrong and help me get a clean xTraSmooth version on my phone that would be very much appreciated

Try to flash again and also flash the radio. ZIP is with the folders of the developer of this rom.. That might help.

I have a d850 running octos 7.1 but can't get my sim card recognized. Have tried several roms and nothing sees my sim. Also I can't get my backup to restore, I get some tiny writing on my screen in the left corner that I can't read and nothing happens. I'm extremely new with flashing roms and have followed all the steps in the guides on here....Can anyone help?
Checked sim in other phone and it works, just not my g3.

Did you try and restore back to stock or flash a stock based rom to make sure it's not a hardware issue??

Can you link me to a stock one? The Sim worked moments before I tried this so should not be physical damage. Ty for the help, this is exactly why I never tried this before...lol

Anyone had issues with sim card not being detected after flashing a custom Rom.?
I've tried to flazh havoc OS, 2 different versions and evolution x and both times after boot up the sim card is not recognised?
Flashed original A10 os and no issues.
Means I cannot make or receive calls

I got it too. Just flash again, don't even need to wipe. That fixed it for me.

Just realised mine could be because it's 5g going to see if I can flash the 5g modem over or something
