[Q] Android: How to use two sound outputs at the same time? - General Questions and Answers

I want to hear the voice navigation through my connected Bluetooth headset but music through the 3,5mm audio output which is connected to my car radio.
Is it possible to get sound from two different applications (navigation & music player) to two different outputs on a rooted Android 2.2.1 device?
Thanks

android and car stereo systems

I have a car stereo jvc 626 with ipod/iphone plug in modes which gives you the ability to control your music from the phone itself itstead of having to use the head unit, is there a way to enable this feature for android ???.
You don't have bluetooth on it?
I should work with your own music player..

[Q] How to enable Audio output via 2.5mm jack and Bluetooth

Hi All,
After much searching for this simple request, how to enable Audio output to the headphone / 2.5mm audio jack and output to bluetooth speakers at the same time.
This is not a request how to get music to play on bluetooth mono headphones etc.
I am wanting to have my Nexus 5 plugged into the speakers and amp in one room, then also have my UE Boom in the next room playing audio via bluetooth.
As soon as I plug in the speakers via the jack, the bluetooth sound output is muted.
Going into Bluetooth settings and unticking music and then ticking music starts audio playing via bluetooth but stops audio via 2.5mm jack.
Any settings I need to know about? Apps or custom ROMs to do this simple feature.
Think of this as a keep playing to speakers when headphones are plugged in. Possible in Ubuntu, is it possible on Android?
Many Thanks,
Rob.

Just to bump the thread, as I know how fast paced the Nexus 5 forum is, and I have waited 10 days before re-asking.
Anyone with information that could help?
Many Thanks,
Rob.

[Q] Audiobooks - remote to rewind?

Hey, i've got the Sprint version of the Note 5.
Is there a way I can have some sort of remote control to press "rewind" on my audiobook app? This is for while I'm driving and connected to my car stereo via 3.5mm audio jack.
In a previous version of Android (I don't remember which) I use to be able to have my bluetooth headset connected and press a button to rewind 10 seconds back and still have it play through my car stereo via the 3.5mm audiojack. After the Android update (a while back), every time I try to use my bluetooth headset for the rewind function, the phone automatically switches the audio output from 3.5mm to the bluetooth headset. So, i'd have to manually change the audio output of the phone back to 3.5mm every time I want to hit rewind...no good.
so, how can I have my phone playing the audiobook through my car stereo via 3.5mm plug and be able to remotely rewind anytime I want?
*BUMP* anyone??

Blue&me A2DP and HSP bluetooth problem

Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to have a media player/streaming app controlled with HSP but output music to A2DP? Some cars only support HSP for voice calls but do have USB media ports and 3.5mm jacks to play music. The only way to have good quality Bluetooth music (Not through HSP) is to use the media functions on the phone not the steering wheel, so having an app that does this would make life so much easier.
